Voting will end soon, we're going to take the results that come in as of 2300 Eastern Standard.
Ruling absolutely is way too overrated. One-man democracy is a nice thing, until your people breed into oblivion and beyond. So much work getting rid of the opposition and keeping other nations at bay. It's easier to let people figure things out for themselves.
