Neil Green pushed his finger into his pimple in front of his reflection coming from his dark computer screen. Neil Green was a young, scrawny man constantly looking over his shoulder. He did so now, looking around the room as an owl scanning each corner for an invisable enemy. As his head came back around to check the left side of his room, he stopped dead. He looked at his monitor. Yes, it was moving, barely perceptiable, but moving nevertheless. He jumped from his chair as a wave of energy ran through the building. For a second, Neil firmly believed the world had ended. He sat there, his eyes darting through the darkness, his neck spinning his head around faster and faster. Out of nowhere came a noise, the power coming back on. Two lights above him flickered and then surged back to life. Neil ran to his chair, grabbing the radio, shouting, "Help! Is anyone there? I am under attack!"
Neil threw down the radio. He knew that the armies were coming. He had long anticipated it. The doctors, he sneered, had called him crazy, but he was right. Now everyone would know. But he had to act. He had to make sure everyone knew. He could strike first, and stop the war, then he would be a hero. Neil Green, the man who saved Grenval!
On his workstation, there was a red button, encased in glass. On the glass, the words read, "WARNING". Neil flipped back the glass barrier, and without hesitation, slammed his fist into hell.
