This is an OOC thread in which I will keep track of certain important characters (most of whom have their name as only pending, I'm bad with names) that will show up often or occasionally in my roleplays. Some have been introduced before and some have not. I have gathered the avatars from PoliticForums.org's photographic avatar collection.
If you're wondering why some characters (mostly minor) have [image] as a link and not an image, it is because there is a maximum to the amount of images I can enter in a thread. I'd put the upset smiley here, too, except that counts as an image.

President Michael Hansien

A 39-year-old quasi-libertarian that won the last election by the closest margin in Zoogiedom history. Graduated at the top of his class, attended a prestigous university and went to law school there as well; record clean to the point of annoyance for political opponents; swiftly rose in popular in upstart Cherub Party and became their presidential nominee.

Not much really to say here; a minor character for the most part; fourteen years married to President Michael Hanelis and aged 36. Met at university and then law school.

44-year old Vice President who joined the Cherub Party at age 26 and competed briefly with Hanelis in the primaries, but quickly recognized that they would work better as a team than as competitors and dropped out early to support him. More aggressive and less reserved/cautious than the President.

62-year old defense secretary who served in the marines as a youth and became a decorated veteran; highly trained military strategician and experienced in diplomacy and foreign affairs; former Senator selected to the Hanelis adminstration. Not eager to war as a result of combat experience but when there's need for it is pressing for swift action, extensive use of force, and little diplomatic mercy. Admires Lord Dreadfire of Automagfreek.

'Feisty' (think the Dean scream) 50-year old conservative that has had some of the most extensive experience in dealing with other nations in the past fifteen years and has served as advisor to the last secretary of state for the last four years. Hotheaded when stirred to anger. Good thing he's not a dictator.

53-year old liberal party thinktank who reacted swiftly to the pressing demands of terrorism twenty years ago and has proven himself as one of the best homeland security experts since then. Defense undersecretary in second term of former Pres. William Ciel before declining an invitation for another term to pursue personal matters.

58-year old former president who served for twelve years as a liberal democratic party candidate, still an active speaker and political analyst. Maintains a good friendship and close ties with current president Michael Hanelis.

Much aggreived 38 year old hotheaded centrist presidential candidate who lost in the closest election in Zoogiedom history. Has a rather high opinion of himself; self-centered, resolute, and [i]very hotheaded. And a sore loser. Has had thoughts of revolution.

General Curtis

Shadowy general who recently retired from the Chief of the Joint Chiefs of staff position to pursue his personal life, but is good friends with General Curtis. Not a fan of libertarianism (smaller military), the military downsizing program (even if it means better trained soldiers) and often collaborative with Curtis. More rational and practical, and commands loyalty from thousands of soldiers.

Technically a Major General now, but goes still by the name of Major. Very close friend to General Curtis and has contacts throughout the government and military chain of command. Commands extreme loyalty from his former brigade and the troops now under his control. Thirsts for war and thrives on it. Ruthless but capable military leader.

A man of utter mystery. It is unknown where he came from, what his full name is (or real name for that matter), how old he is, and what he's been doing. For that matter, few care to acknowledge his existence, which is just fine for him as it suits his job category. The head, leader, and mastermind of the most secretive government intelligence agency (think KGB, and what would be required to make them look like ragtag guerillas) and spearheaded the military Tagyrs spinoff (think Raysia's ELDERS). Materialized out of seemingly nowhere.
