Nuclear War and the Rumbling Earth [OOC]
Alright, this the OOC thread. I have not yet made the IC thread. This is sign-ups and such. The basic idea is that there was a nuclear silo built in a somewhat nuclear prone region. There is only one man who works there, everything else is computer controlled, and he is rather erratic and extremely paraniod. There is an earthquake and all power is shut. Of course, the plant has back up power, but the radio transimission and phone lines are also cut in the quake. Due to his paranioa, the man launches a nuclear weapon at whoever feels like signing up to be destroyed. This of course escalates into an enourmous war with alliances going every which way and the like. Get it? Got it? Good. By the way, I am of course, the country that launches the nuke.
Also, none of this would actually affect the nation. It would be imaginary and not take a toll on economy and military and such.

Since I can't get nuked to high hell - well my people, I'd of course be sat in my nicely stocked palatial nuke shelter - why not, sounds like it could be a laugh.

Up to whoever is taking it on. I think it would be more fun if it hits, but you could have your leaders say that the attempt is enough to justify going to war with me. Of course, you are my ally, so I had figured you would help me, but whatever.
