Prime Minister John Brown straightened his tie, took a sip from his glass of water, cleared his throat, and proceeded to step up onto the podium. Before him were hundreds of members of Parliament, the Press, International Reporters and such. Outside the building, armed police held back a marching crowd of anti war protestors. Attempting not to look at them, John Brown spoke.
"It's all.. ah.. good to see you here today, members of Parliament, Media reporters."
He smiled. Several camera shots were taken.
"I am here to announce an official declaration of war upon the sovereign nation of The New Aryan State."
Some more pictures.
"Several days ago, Royal Navy and Royal Air Force elements entered New Aryan State territory and waters, and proceeded to bombard Belsin, the capital. I must congratulate Fleet Admiral Meltsen, in his excellent naval operations. I am proud to say that not one Royal Navy vessel has gone under so far."
A reporter rushed to the front to interrupt John Brown.
"What about Royal Airforce? What loss numbers do we have there?"
John Brown gulped. He knew a number of planes had been shot down over enemy territory yesterday.
"Unknown.. the figure of RAF losses is unknown."

[OOC: this is a point for your reporters to step in and ask questions: what plans have you for NAS after the war? etc etc]

A woman with a microphone bearing the Resquide national News logo stepped forward. "Mr Prime Minister, are any other countries going to get involved in this fight?"

As the Resquidi reporter steps up the front asking her question, John Brown replies heartily.
"Yes! Rotovia, Voderlund, and Praetonia have already contributed ships and aircraft to this cause"

bumpsilated.

A Sanctaphrax reporter pushed his way to the front of the crowd:
"Why the declaration of war? What has NAS done?"

John Brown was eager to answer this question.
"The New Aryan State has commited multiple acts of genocide to its citizens, we have evidence, real evidence friends, that the NAS Government ordered killing and imprisoning of jews, muslims, and generally any non-aryans. Does that answer your question? These people must be stopped."

OOC: Teehee..

Another Reporter pushed her way through, dressed in the Arenumbergian Peoples News Network's red colours.

"Prime Minister! What about the reports of Hogsweat ships being sunk, And Rumour has it that the NAS stepped down from its actions under external pressure, Arenumberg being one of the pressuring forces, Reports also say Hogsweat forces stopped the evacuation of the unwanted NAS citizens, and that your forces will be attacking civilians, is this true?"

OOC: Of course, no matter what you say, its still true! lol, and you have lost ships, i may no longer exist in that thread, but my actions still happened!

OOC: Yah, I did lose a ship or two...

John Brown shot the Arenumbergian.

"I repeat, NO Royal Navy ships have been sunk in The New Aryan State. I deny all of your accusations. There were no requests of civilians to be allowed to exit the city, and whether they stand down or not is not important. We will NOT be attacking civilians, we will be attacking armed soldiers employed by the New Aryan government."
