The commisioner of commercial media prepped the video for broadcast, he hoped all the ad time he bought in other countries would be worth it, apparently, civilian signal descramblers nuked the first attempt at a message when they tried it earlier. He stuck his hand out from behind the viewscreen, "Sir, we're live in 5...4...3...2...1..."
Trade Minister Alberon stood in his ceremonial white jacket and slacks, standing in front of the National Pytan Flag.
"Greetings World, We of The Mobile Nation of Pyta have just commenced our Neutrality and Very Free Trade Act, or NAVFTA, we are using our nation's unique situation to capitalize on what we can do, more specifically, what we can do for you.
"Fourty years ago, our nation was nearly destroyed by a series of earthquakes and hurricanes, and the decision was made that we simply weren't prime real estate. In the most massive Public Works project known to man, we set out to build a ship that could carry the more than one billion people in Pyta through their lives, and thus the PNS Pytan was built. At Five hundred miles long, and fourty miles wide, it is capable of holding our entire population on its many decks.
"But how does this affect you? Quite simply, we are always in international waters, and have now legalized any form of trade. Slaves; Male and female, young and old, will be available for any purposes you wish. Our other wares include Arms of any kind, Weapons of Mass Destruction, Illicit substances, Banned books, anything you want can be gotten here.
"We also offer many activities that are illegal in many of your home nations. We have a massive casino, capable of accomodating tens of thousands of people, a well-developed prostitute industry, as well as guns for hire
"The only stipulation on our offer is that you do not harm our nation in any way: This includes doing damage to the Pytan Superstructure, any attempt to harm a citizen of pyta in ANY way, or any attack on the well being of the Pytan State
"We encourage any and all leaders to use us as a negotitation table for any postwar discussions, Your safety is not automatically guarenteed, but you may bring you're own guard detail, or hire one of our own.
"We wish to step onto the world economic stage here in Pyta. Thank you, and goodnight"
