The Hellenic Army has finally released its UT Hellenic Scout light tank and its HC-MBT. The Army already has 5,000 of both tanks at its disposal. It started today a production of 50,000 of both type of tanks. The army said that with the production of the tanks the total amount of Greece’s armored forces (tanks) will be around 200,000. Only around 50,000 of them are on active duty but the rest can become fully active during times of war. Here are the specs released by the Army. The Army said that NTG Corporation will soon be able to sell it to the public. But until then only Greece will have them.

UT-Hellenic Scout
States
Crew: 4
Weight: 30 tons
Max Speed: 55mph
Armor: One layer of thick steel.
Armament: 70mm main gun, two built on machine guns.
Info: This is not the first tank that was built by the Hellenic Army but it is the first light tank. This tank can’t stand up against a HC-MBT but it is much faster and can face any obstacle. It’s good for scouting and to get some firepower to a certain area fast. This tank works very well if it’s with other 3 of the same types.
