Call to Arms

Neo Cannen
28-09-2004, 17:33
To all UN members who support the anti slavery bill
From Ambassador Midian of Neo Cannen
Female Slavery INC are blatently violating the slavery legislation proposed by the UN. We call for all those who oppose slavery to engage this horrible corperation in battle. We have begun the fight ourselves, but we request help from those who would oppose these people. I hope we will not have to fight this crusade alone.

The Federation of Female Slavery Inc is not a UN member, and is therefore out of our jurisdiction. Any UN nations attempting to trade in slaves would find themselves automatically sanctioned by the UN. As to how UN nations respond to non-UN nations in such events ... is entirely up to the individual nation. Please take it up with whatever relevant treaty organizations you may belong to. (You might check out Vistadin's Anti Slavery Conference (http://forums2.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?t=360237) or look into The Audubon Ballroom (http://forums2.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?t=360257)'s activities.)

Whether you support or oppose Neo Cannen's plea, this is not the UN's business.

The Kingdom Of Endenia prefers to remain Neutral in this matter. We support the Anti-Slavery Bill however we believe it is up to the individual nations to decide whether to follow the Bill or not.

We urge talks to calm the situation immediately.

I stand by FSI.I must defend their right to trade.Slavery is legal in their country. It is a legal trade. The UN cannot interfere there.I am currently involved in stopping a war between FSI and some other new nations.

Slavery is outlawed within the Landran Confederation. We will seize any slave ship we find, and any slavers caught operating within Landeran space will be executed. Our navy has a long standing tradition of enforcing this policy, and will continue to do so.
While we will not go to war over this issue, we will act to enforce our laws within our own borders.
Further, Landeras is willing to offer asylum to any runaway slaves who manage to contact one our ships or colonies.

The Kingdom of Endenia urges immediate talks to calm the situation, despite the fact that we do not approve of nations trading in Slavery, we believe that all nations have a right to choose what their economy should be on.

Thus we recommand several steps to settle this matter peacefully:

1.We begin immediate talks on a definite peace option of the nation of FSI and the rest of the world. The Kingdom volunteers to use Endenia Prime as a summit location for peace talks.

2.We commission a joint multi-national committee to begin looking for alternatives for the FSI economy, thus allowing the nation to profit without resorting to Slavery.

3.If the FSI decides to drop slavery, we must be ready to pledge support and aid to help redevelop the economy of the nation, furthermore we must be ready to assist in the rehabilitation of the freed slaves.

We believe with these steps, we can avoid any bloodshed and bring a new hope for the people of all nations. If all participating states agree to this, the Kingdom will hold the peace summit in Endenia Prime. Please reply as soon as possible. Once confirmed we will Wire an invitation to FSI.

Cassandra Woo

As a member of the UN is must state my objection to the events taking place in FSI however, it is not my place to intervene in their actions. It is their choice to tarde in slaves and this shall be accepted. urge any nation who has problems with this trade to please take it up with FSI via peaceful means. Any war that breaks out will be closely monitored by Exetonia however i must request that should war be taken, that UN states jumpto the aid of FSI and, if needs be, place sanctions on any UN nation interfeing with the business of a non UN nation.

Yours, Howard Eastman, Exetonian Envoy to the UN

Although i still belive that all who practice slavery should be shot, i will come to these peace talks, all i care about is the fact that we free these poor slaves. Another thing, if we are indeed able to free some slaves, Our country would be willing, and happy, to take in these poor people and help in their Rehabilitation.
