The Sparten navy roared into action as the Chinese defence force began to retaliate for the breech of their national waters. The fleet consisting of hundreds of warships and hundreds of thousands of transport vessels was all that could be seen upon the horizon, an endless line of golden ships reflecting the Asian sun. The vast fighter duals coloured the sky black from explosions while the area boomed with the sound of dieing men falling or burning to death. The Sparten fleet out sizing Chinese naval forces two to one slowly took their foe down however it was not without loss, the Sparten navy was also suffering with the loss of the flagship and four carriers the admirals were screaming at their crews to “TAKE THEM OUT”.

Vice Admiral Anubis, grabbed onto a railing to steady himself from aft explosions upon the deck plating. Enemy missiles could be seen screaming past the bridge and onwards to meet some unfortunate soul.

“Helm, I want a full stop with our starboard facing the enemy. Relay the order to all gun turrets to focus all their firepower upon the Pai Mei and Chang Ho. With those battleships gone we will be able to sink the……..” The naval battlefield rocked with a mushroom cloud which sent a vast fiery glow over the sea.

“WHAT THE FUCK WAS THAT.”

“Admiral, it was the Pai Mei, its reactor must have been breeched.”

“Whats the status of the fleet?”

“Reports coming now sir. Two Carriers have been lost, six frigates, two battleships including the Pharaoh and twelve light cruisers. Seventeen transport ships have been incinerated.”

“Loss of life?”

“An estimated Twenty Six thousand sir.”

“My God. Status of Chinese forces?”

“Destroyed Admiral, their naval capability no longer exists. Congratulations on your twelfth victory admiral.”

“Thank you. Send a communication back to Thebes with news of this victory, downsize the casualties a “little” and send the signal for landfall to be made.”

“By your command Admiral.”

As the news of an initial victory left the newly designated flagship, the transports made their way for their landing. China obviously prepared for the war would offer large resistance upon the beeches with many men. This war would be vast and cost the lives of many.”

“General we are detecting some increased activity at Chinese nuclear defence installations?”

“Reason?”

“Sir they are most likely preparing to destroy our forces with nuclear attacks preventing us from making any form of advance for the time being.”

“Very well get me Thebes and we will request orbital support.” Within a few seconds a large screen flashed and activated in front of the General, upon it was supreme commander of Asian force General Apophis.

“Yes what is it general?”

“Sir we have bad news to report. We believe that China is about to launch a pre-emptive nuclear attack upon Sparten assets. I request orbital assistance to subdue the matter.”

“Nuclear assets? As you know full well they will not be given.”

“No sir.”

“I suggest we use EMP weapons to knock out their first strike capability. Intelligence recently acquired shows that China only has twelve missiles silos with an extra fourteen concentrated regiments, however most of those have been reduced to token forces in accordance with the Russian-Chinese disarmament treaty.”

“How do we know this?”

“Best not to ask Sir.”

“Very well general, we shall see to the removal of the nuclear threat.”

“Thank you Sir.”

Above Asia several Sparten military satellites moved into position from their former orbits, travelling across the void of space until ordered to stop from a simple radio signal.

The vast Orbital weapons now locked on to their targets opened fire upon the now battle preparing installations. Falling to earth in an ICBM form the missiles encroached upon speeds just above Mach 22, time until impact was a mere twelve seconds, which removed Chinas nuclear capability within a key stroke.”

The battle near Fuzhou was a resounding success. Sparten’s Infantry vastly armoured and far superior to the matters of war then the general Chinese conscript forced their way through the battlefields and towns brushing away any resistance.

Upon the coastline vast Concrete blocks were being sunk into the sea, while out of date transport ships were being scuttled to provide a protective barrier for the soon to be constructed Sparten docklands. The air war had become of small importance due to the sheer numbers of deployed troops. Sparten naval warships and carrier cover were more than enough to protect infantry advancements, hopefully the Chinese people would see Sparten as their saviours from Communist oppression, rather than their annexors.

After the first day of battle Sparten infantry and the initial advancements of armour had taken the poorly defended city of Fuzhou.

4 Weeks later

The Sparten army had won a great victory at the battle for Fuzhou however due to a large Chinese counter attack the advancement of six hundred miles into their territory was reduced to a mere four hundred. Sparten losses so far are estimated at two hundred thousand.

Chinese losses are estimated at 1.3 million

Civilian losses are estimated a 4.5 million.

OOC: No one will know the real casualty count, so don’t bother about interfering, in the name of humanity. This has to be a large casualty war as its what it would be in RL I’m being realistic here.

Obviously you did not read the thread(and you call me dense, n00b.) I took out Chinas nuclear capability with EMP weapons. China does not yet have global nuclear weapons and what they do have is actualy quite limited considdering the West prevents them from aquiring as much Uranium as possible. In many claiming of RL nations, other players would be nuked, however i believe i am the only person in any thread to address the problem. GO READ POSTS and you will discover i am correct.

yeah "suspected", and i did if ANYONE reads the posts that their nuclear capacity was reduced due to a Russian Chineese treaty, or do you want me to take the 400 out or wait a minute shall i go into a lame ass nuclear war where lots of people die and i don't get to write much except casulties and missiles launching. Grow up people and think for a minute.

NOW STOP OOC CLUTTERING MY THREAD. ANY FURTHER OOC POSTS WILL REQUIRE ME TO INVOLVE A MOD.

From the Imperial palace the Pharaoh oversaw the great city of Thebes. Lying upon a small bed, being cooled by the palm fans of two slaves, the God of all Sparten looked at his generals.

“I was told that this war would be quick and bloodless. Why is the army still bogged down. It has now been four months and yet we still have not moved more than one thousand miles. Why is this?”

“My Lord the military is planning something large, SOMETHING HUGE. Our usual tactics of wearing the enemy down into a war of attrition is not possible in these circumstances therefore we must destroy their infrastructure which the air force has begun doing.” Air Marshall Set nodded in approval.

“Yes General, but the people are anxious for victory, we cannot lie to them, nor can we delay much longer. The Glory of Thebes must be satisfied or we will suffer a greater turmoil which as you all know is a possible revolt.”

“Sir, we only require a few days for our operation to commence. I ask that you allow us that amount of time to achieve a breakthrough.

“You have your time generals. Now go and do not return if the news is bad from the front.”

The generals moved towards the doors ever keeping their bowed heads towards Pharaoh.

OPERATION CLEANSING

The Chinese front lines were a state of turmoil. The war now resembling scenes from World War One had turned into a vast battle of Trench warfare and Arial attacks, with neither side gaining much ground. However Sparten did have an advantage, its production centres were not being destroyed, nor was her recruitment segment of the population being slaughtered. China could only hold this line for a few more months and both sides knew it.

Behind the Sparten lines armour and air reserves were being brought forward as well as one hundred thousand reserve infantry and their subsequent artillery regiments.

On the coastline the Sparten army had once again begun manning troop transports for a second invasion site, which would hopefully decrease and remove Chinas ability to strike back and fight an effective war.

After taking control of the skies with superior equipment and forces Sparten had begun a policy of area bombing which in turn reduced the industrial cities of Xian and Wuhan into a firestorm reducing Chinese ammunition output by half. Roads and other necessary infrastructure were also a main target with motorways and railway lines being severed from cruise missile attacks.

At 4am on the 25/12/2004 the Sparten assault begun. The initial artillery bombardment shuddered the earth causing many people to go deaf from the powerful sound waves which was not an uncommon occurrence. Sparten infantry and armour began their advance under a torrent of enemy fire. The first men out of the trenches were taken out be enemy gunfire and heavy weapons however the second to fifteenth lines successfully exited the trenches. Moving out in a vast semi circle Sparten forces occupied the attention of the Peoples army. In the skies of the battlefield vast swarms of transport planes flew overhead, covering the skies in a veil of darkness the Sparten airforce opened the doors to their aircraft and out of them poured thousand of troops behind the Chinese lines.

Anti Aircraft fire erupted from the hills and valleys sending hundreds of men to their fiery doom. However the transports released their payload of warriors and they descended to the surface to begin their battle for survival.

“Well gentleman this attacks is make or break, how do you think were doing.”

“Well its only just begun but Chinese morale seems very low, they won’t hold for long, especially once their outflanked.”

“yes but what about their ability to cal up reserves?”

“China has no more equipment, or very little of it, there production centres are all but destroyed. We will soon have this nation under our control.”

Second part of this post pending.

OOC: FCN I don’t really care. You aren’t the Chinese commander. And not everyone does what you do. Military generals do have a history of being incompetent and as for rebel attacks, I was going to make another thread rping them. However every other player would suffer the same. DO YOU SEE THEM Rping rebel attacks. NO I don’t. In fact lets compare threads. I think I am te only one that had their nation put up such a large threat. Unlike Arenumburg, Guffingford in all his conquests, Hamptonshire in the takeover of Denmark. Twist in the takeover of Italy it does go on. I think that’s enough criticising of me don’t you think. If your so happy to make these statements go and comment on everyone else as well. Or will you only do it to me as you bare a grudge as most ESUS members do. Ahh well for posting an OOC comment in my thread when I asked you not to You are now on Ignore. I you want to continue debating this goes for anyone else. If you want to make a comment about this thread TG it to me. Thanks.

Hethos flung himself to the ground as an enemy mortar shell smashed down onto the ground. His heavy armour sticking to the mud of the battlefield which in all aspect resembled the Somme. Pulling himself out, he clicked the small button to release the blades of his energy staff and ran towards the enemy. The forward Chinese trench of sector seven loomed in front of him. Rifle fire, handgun and machine gun fire erupted from positions taking many warriors out. A small ricochet of fire slammed against his armoured suit forcing him to stutter in the mud before regaining his bearings. Now almost upon the trench he picked up his pace. Running through barbed wire emplacements Hethos flew into the air landing in the depths of the Chinese trench. Too close for heavy weapons, the men of the republics army began to stab and slam the Hethos’s metal armour to no avail. Picking himself up he swing the electrically charged blades at the enemy and began to cleathe through flesh and bone.

Trudging through the muddy and rat infested trenches Hethos continued his way to the machine gun fortifications. The intense artillery fire now ceased, caused the battlefield to resemble a graveyard. The sporadic eruptions of gunfire and explosions illuminated the rotting and maggot infested corpses. Pulling himself up a ladder, he crept up behind the gunners who were concentrating far too intensely on their current mission of national defence. Raising his cleaver he swept down his mighty blade removing the heads of the first two men he encountered. Moving along the room, each unarmed gunner was slowly killed by decapitation or some unholy blow to the torso.

Looking through the firing holes Hethos could view a vast battle taking place. Sparten infantrymen pushed onwards through the trench lines followed by monstrosities of armoured vehicles. Around the bloody fields vast tank armadas fought for victory with each side sending in everything they had. Hundreds of thousands of tanks swarmed the thousand mile front, while overhead in the skies the final air battle had begun. Sparten equipment superior to anything the Chinese had quickly assured dominance in the Arial battlefield.

“How is the battle going?”

“It seems to be winding down sir. Most forces report breakthroughs of some sort while others report mostly in sector eighteen, solid and strong resistance.”

“Casualties?”

“Far too early to tell yet. But we believe they will be bordering almost a million men.”

“Chinese casualties?”

“There’s will be significantly higher. Our analysts estimate a 3 to 1 ratio at least, we expect Chinese military casualties to be in the region of four million. Though most of them are poorly armed conscripts.”

“When we achieve a full breakthrough, how long until we secure their surrender or a large proportion of their major infrastructure?”

“General Set, always planning ahead.”

“But of course, otherwise how do you expect us to win this war?”

“This was is already won.”

“There will be rebels for years to come and resistance within the towns and cities for many years yet, but when the public realises that we are their ally and when we brain wash their young, they ill then capitulate with us.”

“Yes but what do we have to continue the advance.”

“Right now we have another army landing two fifteen hundred miles to the North or Sector eighteen. They will secure Bejing while the rest of the army pushes forward to secure the Chinese heartland.”

“And the rebels?”

“We will wipe them out form the air of course General.”

Relaxing in a small chair next to the communications officer General Set awaited a major breakthrough of the front.

Sixteen Hours Later

General Set waking up to a small private shaking his shoulders, looked up at the vast electronic map on the wall. It showed the Chinese armed forces in full rout and the second invasionary army currently engaged in the battle for Beijing.

Upon the beeches the Sparten navy were launching their swarms of missiles and fighters. The sky darkening from the ever increasing tide of Sparten air presence would be a very disconcerting sight for the Chinese chairman. After a very fast battle for the now devastated city due to constant air bombardment primarily with fuel air bombs Sparten had the remains of Beijing in their control.

With the largest elements of the Chinese army out of they excluding those in Tibet the Sparten army began to sweep through China, only delayed by the slower speeds of their supplies.

To prevent any sort of reorganisation with the Chinese military Air strikes were carried out from the Philippines upon all major cities with high yield weapons including Fuel Air bombs. Constant troops drops were carried out throughout the remote regions of China to begin the hunting of rebels and military rally points.
