Upon authorization of der Fuhrer, the Reich Security Head Office and the Gestapo have merged forming the Komitee für Staatliche Sicherheit (Committee For State Security). The KSS is formed to protect and impose law upon the Reich's citizens. It will be seperated into the following departments:
-The First Chief Directorate (Foreign Operations) is responsible for foreign operations and intelligence-gathering activities.
-The Second Chief Directorate is responsible for internal political control of citizens and foreigners within the Fascist Confederacy.
-The Third Chief Directorate (Armed Forces) controls military counterintelligence and political surveillance of the armed forces.
T-he Fifth Chief Directorate also deals with internal security. Created to combat political dissent, it takes up some of the tasks previously handled by the Second Chief Directorate such as religious dissent, monitoring the artistic community, and the censorship of publications.
-The Seventh Directorate (Surveillance) handles surveillance, providing equipment to follow and monitor the activities of both foreigners and Fascian citizens.
-The Eighth Chief Directorate is responsible for communications. It deals with monitoring foreign communications and is also responsible for the cryptological systems used by KSS divisions, transmission to KSS stations overseas, and the development of communication equipment
-The Ninth Directorate (Guards) a force which provides uniformed guards and close protection (bodyguard) services for principal leaders and their families, and major government facilities in the Fascist Confederacy, to include nuclear warhead stockpiles. It also operates the VIP subway system on Fascia and the government's secure telephone system which linked high-level government and Reich officials.
-The Border Guards Directorate this force provides border security and combatted smuggling along the FC's extensive border. It also deployes large naval and air contingents.
-The KSS also containes the following sections; KSS Personnel Department, Secretariat of the KSS, KSS Technical Support Staff, KSS Finance Department, KSS Archives, Administration Department of the KSS, and the Reich Committee.
The head of the KSS is to be appointed to Konstantin von Neurath.
