“OPEN FIRE” The vast guns of the PSB Anubis rattled the sea as the rest of the fleet followed suit. Massed on the Philippine coastline the Sparten fleet was now prepared for a full scale invasion of the pathetic and weak nation. The water tight suits of the Sparten military would ideally suit Jungle warfare. The armour thick and light would prove more than a match for any Rebel insurgents.

As the fleet opened fire the first of the Transport ships began to move towards the shore, over twenty thousand men at this beachhead, there were many all over the nation. As planes flew over head and shells impacted upon the land the first of the infantry landed onto a virtually unprotected coastline, surely they had some defences?

All over Southern Asia the vast Sparten army was descending upon the unsuspecting shores. Over Two million men had been organised with their equipment for this venture making it the largest Invasion that Sparten has ever launched.

Forces descending upon the defenceless islands would slaughter anyone who resisted their civilised advance. Moving through the forests and undergrowth the Sparten army would route out any form of Rebellion and quickly crush it.

“So the invasion has taken place?”

“Yes My lord, just last night did the first troops land on the islands.”

“And how is the army doing in the environment so unlike our own.”

“They are doing excellent My Lord. The watertight suits are insuring that they remain dry while their thick but light armour insures them protection from most rebel traps.”

“Good good, what about casualties?”

“All reports have yet to be transmitted.”

“Very well, keep my posted.”

OOC: i won't recognize it (one of my protectorates rp's as the philippines), but if this is for one of those earth XVI dealies then i guess i'm fine with it

Bumpity Bump

The invasion lasted for the better half of two weeks. Sparten infantry and armour easily crushed all rebellion within the cities however enemy forces began to commence mobile raids and swift night attacks from the dense jungle forests. Though armed to the teeth with weapons the rebels had available to them out of date and old lumbering weapons which could not penetrate the Sparten armour at the best of times, as a result the war became a slaughter. Villages and towns known to harbour rebels under “secure” intelligence were quickly wiped out by air and ground attacks while four million men marched through the forests and jungles wiping out the insurgents before any effective resistance could be organised.

The Philippine islands were on the 28/09/2004 classed by the Imperial Palace as annexed territory now deemed the sixty second province of Sparten.

The loses as the result of the war were light, only four hundred men lost their lives to the attack, mainly a result of disease and stroke caused by the scorching heat and humidity.

“Well, it seems the war was only a slight inconvenience for the military.”

“Yes my Lord, the generals in the field report only a minimal challenge, they are asking for something more difficult, something worthy of Sparten.”

“Really?”

“My Lord China sits on our back door, it is venerable and weak, w e can take it.”

“Are you sure general?”

“MY Lord, we currently have four million men in Asia, with a further six million ready to depart at a moments notice, we can win this war by summers feast. I give you my word.”

“General, as you know I have no care for military affairs, only for the glory of Thebes. Just make sure we suffer no loss.”

“Yes my Lord.”

I have a couple of questions for you:

1- Where is your nation located?

2- What route did they take to get to the PI?

3- Do you really think you can successfully prosecute two major invasions at once?

Sparten is a vast continent located within the pacific, that is how i rp it.

Quite simple, they sailed from Sparten through the pacific to get to the Philippines.

IF you read the thread and posts you would realise that the bulk of the chinese invasion force is from the philipines invasion force with large ammounts of reinforcements on the way. And Sparten is more than capable of handling two invasions at once, i have barely touched the military available to me.

Since my country is located on an antarctica-sized continent in the central/south Pacific, has extensive trade contacts with all of the nations on the Pacific Rim (including China and the PI), and is twice your size, I needed more information to determine whether or not I should get involved.

With your answer, I have decided that the entire thread is happening in some other segment of space-time, and I will therefore butt out of your threads.

US may i ask why your useing your puppet nation sparten to take over lands on the same earth as your nation US and the funny thing is the lands your takeing are vary close to Japan where US took over.....*puppetmaster*...i find it strange thats all is there really a point in useing your puppets to take land?

OOC: here it is. I rp certain puppets with certain groups of NS. Such as Unfied Sith will only rp with the VA alliance and other affiliated nations where as Sparten will only rp with nations not usualy active upon NS. Also the Forums are slow and i wanted to do something as i'm bored as hell. This is not puppet wanking as i am not using Sparten/Unified Sith conjunctively.
