The Mare Crisium RP has broken down, and I'm looking to get into another RPing situation, preferably some sort of conflict. Here's the info on my nation and my preferences:
Gamma-12 is inhabited by intelligent machines that originate from a set of factories clearly designed by an unknown human agency. However, whoever created the factories left them in operational condition. The machines have hard AI, but are otherwise only so advanced; all technology is based on reasonable outgrowths of existing tech. There are no Star Trek-style phasers, warp fields or any psuedoscience mumbo-jumbo, and most weapons the machines use employ physical projectiles. Technologically, they're pretty near-future, with only the advances in robotics and AI needed to make it possible to play them.
There's an ethnic human minority in Gamma-12, refugees who found themselves in a land inhabited by strange and frightening robots. After a common ground for communication was established, the machines agreed to let the humans settle in Gamma-12, and a few have become productive members of society. Most humans live in moving camps, however, and distrust their mechanical benefactors (who make frequent supply drops to the humans living in the wilderness). The people are ethnically Palestinian.
Gamma-12 is rather nervous about outside human contact.
Basically, I want a decent RP, no twinking or munchkinism, with another nation of a similar tech level. Human only, please--no aliens, no interstellar travel.
