International Anti-Slavery Coalition
Avadrian Chancellor Alexander Faulkner's speech calling on the formation of an international coalition against slavery has been broadcasted throughout the world on almost all international networks.
"In this day and age, slavery was supposed to be a thing of the past. Carried out by the old, primitive, nations. Wiped out through international pressure and reform. However it has come to light that the trade of humans is very prominent in todays world. There are nations out there selling women as objects for uncivillized men, children being sold as laborers, and countless other atrocities such as this are happening as I speak."
"That is why I am calling on all nations in the civilized world to support the formation of an international coalition against all nations involved in the slave trade. Our objective is to simply blockade and cut-off airspace to these nations in order to prevent the trade of these people. Overtime if they refuse to discontinue there trade, a humanitarian task-force may be sent in."
"Again I am calling on all civilized nations to support Avadria's call for reform in these countries. It is for the good of the world"

The Audubon Ballroom will of course join this organization, assuming we are permitted.
You think you can take down Aust and the other Slaving nations? I would like to see you try!
I think you will see in the due course of time, that we will. This coalition will be a beacon of hope for all of those living as objects in nations such as yours. Just you wait.
As for Audubon, you are accepted.
Anagonia

Anagonia see's some promise in this Coalition, and with Aust as a Main Objective, we may need assistance if Aust brings in enough Nations for the false cause of Slavery.
In other words, Anagonia wishes to join.

You may want to rethink accepting us... we are a terrorist organization and people may get upset if you overtly support us.

Ballroom,
If Anagonia catches any act of Terrorism in your mist, please run as fast as you can.
This is as nice and pleasent as we can state our......dislike of terrorists.
You may want to rethink accepting us... we are a terrorist organization and people may get upset if you overtly support us.
Well with that fact revealed, we may have to put you on a... waiting list of sorts, as I would prefer not to deal with governments of your... orientation. If we are desperate, then we shall see. But as for now, we are denying your acceptance, but at the same time your honesty is appreciated.
Ratheia sorta doesn't care.

Red Wales

Red Wales ewould like to join this coalition
We must put aside all poltical differences and end the slave trade. Therefore Avadria accetps the nation of Red Wales into the coalition.
As for Red Tide, we reduse to accept support from a nation that will in turn support the enemy.
And for Ratheia, do not waste our time.
"Give up slaves? Why?"
"It's not like you apes are worth anything except cheap labor and a good meal. Humans in Mekanta are like cows in your country. Tasty."
Ratheia itself does not allow slavery in our glorious country but we find that anyone else can have it if they want.
Cheap labor is good.
Ratheia may actually allow slavery soon...
We do not believe in invading nations even if they seem unjust or barbaric. We do how ever want to stop slavery, but we can not join. Yet, maybe when we feel like a Slaver Nation wants to hold our country hostage and take and work whoever to the bone.
Democratic Colonies
27-09-2004, 23:10
While the Federated Union of Democratic Colonies would like to lend its moral support to this coalition, we will not join at this time nor do we intend to do so. The Democratic Colonies strongly believes in the inherent right of human beings to live free lives without the spectre of slavery, but efforts in the past have shown that global efforts to eradicate slavery are never successful. There are too many large, powerful nations that pratice slavery constantly and refuse to heed the words of the civilized world to end it. Mekanta, Decisive Action and others like them are strong, slave taking nations - to topple even a small number of them would cost literally tens of millions of lives, if not even a more horrific number, and would lead to the ruin of many a free nation. The Colonial Government wishes you the best and hopes for your success in your future efforts, but will not be joining your coalition. You may, perhaps, encounter Colonial military and intelligence gathering personel in the course of your operations though - be assured that we will treat you as a friendly organization in such cases, as we share the same ideals of liberty and human rights as you do. Saluting your dedication to the causes of liberty and freedom,
- Secretary Kelli Perim, Colonial Department of Foreign Affairs
We respect your decisions to remain out of this coalition. As well we appreciate your moral support. It is not yet the goal of this force to tackle the larger nations, of course in the end the enemy may form there own force, but we will be prepared.

ooc: A little tidbit of information, but there are slaves in Sdaeriji, even though officially it is illegal. Just throwing that out there.
OOC: Illegal, underground, trade is unfortunate but is purely a domestic issue. However the wonton, international, selling and dristribution of people, appaling. The strive of this campagin will be to knockout the international dealers, or at least reduce this.
We will use force only if we have to. The main part of this campaign is to at least disrupt the international slave market on nations such as FSI and effectively crush the nation through economic starvation. That is if they are stubborn and refuse to discontinue there buisness.
To whom it may concern,
The Democratic States of Kelman fully supports The Anti-Slavery Coalition and the goal it wishes to achieve. Therfore we'd like to apply for full membership into the organization. We would be more then happy to support you with the funds, intelligence, and manpower needed to fight slavery.
Sincerely,
Jim Mckean
Secretary of The State
The Democratic States of Kelman
Mr. McKean,
The Avadrian government and certainly the other coalition members, look forward to cooperation with your nation in the mission to abolish this terrible practice. Welcome aboard.
The nation of Haejong wishes to join the coalition against slavery. Slavery or involuntary servitude unless as part of legal criminal punishment is forbidden under the national charter of Haejong, and we will lend our support to any other nation which also opposes this barbaric practice. However, there is still a significant number of slave traders crossing through Haejong territory as the sparsely populated steppes have no regular police force - wandering korlaan (constables/bounty hunters), village militias, and the occasional National Police task force are often the only forces of order in rural Haejong. Regardless, our nation will completely support the efforts of this coalition to eradicate slavery.

From the Desk of Governer McLagherty
Heh, a bunch of small nations trying to step up and take out Aust? I've certainly never seen that before. Regardless, though I lend my moral support to Aust, the Principality's forces will be available to extract your survivors when Aust corners you. We've done it before and it's listed in our annals as one of the more exciting missions in our ancient history. We've actually still got the V-25's we used back then.
Hopefully we'll be able to pull this one off without casualities, though.
From the Desk of the Chancellor
First and foremost I appricitate your willingness to support our troops if we are defeated. However, I am insulted that you take us for such fools. What man would rush himself into a fight with the largest of his enemies? This is not an effort against Aust, it is an effort against all slave-trading nations.
Respectfully,
Chancellor Faulkner
-IC-
"We salute the wisdom of Democratic Colonies. You are correct."
"Any attempt to force Mekanta to abandon it's slave trade will be met with full force. In addition, sizable military action of an Overpact (OOC: Future Tech) scale will likely result in ESUS retribution."
"Furthermore, strikes against other slave holding nations will only strengthen the market for the survivors, as there will be less competition and more demand."
"You cannot win..."
The People's Republic of Kay Son would like to join such an organization.

Ballroom,
If Anagonia catches any act of Terrorism in your mist, please run as fast as you can.
This is as nice and pleasent as we can state our......dislike of terrorists.
We stratigically target slavers and make every effort to limit collateral damage. While we don't expect to be welcomed with open arms, our goals coincide. What, after all, is the differeince between a covert operations team and a group of idologically motivated insurgants? There are far better targets for your ire than the Ballroom.
Further, the Ballroom isn't a nation, it's an international organization... and good luck finding IC information on our backers.
Regardless of whether victory is possible or not, the purpose of this coalition is to free the individual. If we can free any amount of these oppressed people then we are succeeding in our goal.
We will pick our fights as we please.

The Holy Empire Of Chrisotpher Thompson would love to have the honor to be part of this cooalition.
IASC is no longer a functioning organization. It's sole purpose was in strengthening the forces helping to resolve the FSI crisis. However no military or political moves were ever made in the name of the IASC, so it never really got off the ground. However I suppose that there is the possibility that it could still come into effect if a large scale slavery issue were to come up again.
However for know the IASC is a defunct organization.
