MONROVIA, Hillsland (Hillsland News Service)-

"We are here live outside the small town of Washbourne, near Monrovia, where minutes ago a massive explosion rocked the counrtyside. The Geological Surveilence Agency has said that the explosion created a shockwave that was measured as a magnitude 2.5 earthquake."

The reporter stops speaking as an Army truck goes whizzing by in the direction of the blast. There is a glowing red haze hanging over the forest ahead, and there are fires visible in the distance.

"Government officials have failed to comment on the possible nature of the explosion. There are Army personell heading in the direction of the blast. Our affiliate in Monrovia is telling us that a signal repeating tower near Washbourne has gone dead, and large parts of Monrovia have lost power. As you can see here behind me, that way is the town of Washbourne. You can see a greenish glow-er, haze over the trees, and if you look closely, you can just make out some fires in the woods."

(OOC: Where should I go with this?)
