For the longest time the ECF was an system based on the system of the US a capitast country that was quite succesful. However it's capitalst/socialst system just didn't work. And it was not working the ECF. Canidates were being put in office due to the electorial college. A truley idiot canidate namely by the Name Of "bush" was elected. He was much hated by the people.
In Our new goverment. Each Adminsatrion will be elected every 5 years by a direct election. The new voting age is 17 compared to the old 23.
All corperations are being shut down. All ultilites,stores,supermarkets,private schools and or any type of business that has a major impact on the country are being goverent controled. Small business will remain independant. Finally the evils or coperations are gone.
The new Tax rate is 70%. Food,housing,internet even computers will be provided. However to get these benifits. You need to have a job to contribute to the country. We will do our best to make jobs as wideley avible as possible. If you are unable to find a job. We will give you one. In a goverment business or serivce or more servce in the militray.
Everyone must serve a period of 3 Years in the military/
Our living standards are higher than most capitalist countrys. We will have the lowest poverty % ever. Such as 0%. Everyone recives free healthcare and schooling up to the college level.
ANd the approval rate for this new goveremtn is 87%

If you are referring to the system the former USSR from a long ago used then no. it's more of a communo-meritocracy but it's not quite.

Due to your shift in economies, the Republic will no longer be able to have trade ties with the ECF. Under terms of the CDEA, of which we are a signatory. We are sorry to be forced into this position. Orders are being sent our to all TRSN and TRSM personnel at ECF controled areas, space and territory to immediately return to the Republic.

While we can no longer have any military or economic ties... the CDEA in no way effects travellers/tourism... so our borders are still open. And I hope the Constitutional Republic and the ECF can maintain peaceful diplomatic ties in all this.

The only reason we are breaking, as such, is that it is a stipulation in an existing Defense treaty we have, as such, it was never intended as an insult to you or your nation. We only do so, in honor of our existing treaty we have with other parties. It was you who took the aggressive stance in this, very unneededly so. Tekania has never started a war, and we have no plan to ever. Tekania is a nation of honor, sir, and we will not dishonor our own treaties as such. The treaty stipulates that we, as signatories, can not have military and economic relations with communist nations. It also stipulates that we will not get involved in internal affairs communist nations, nor attack communist nations unless first attacked by them. We are neither war-mogerers, nor are we corrupt. I'm sorry if you don't understand the concept of honoring treaties. As such, our ethics dictate that we must.

OOC: The Republic of Tekania is a Constitutional Republic, primarily Libertarian in nature. Modeled as much after my own personel beliefs as possible. As a RL consideration, Tekania would not go to war, unless forced to from attack. And ECF, I don't hate you personally, I recognize most people don't play their own models here.... nor would I necessarily be as anti-socio-communist as I am here.. in RL, this is all RP.... the CDEA is an actual treaty (actually it's two seperate, the CDA and CEA... CDEA for parties who signed both) Tekania has signed with several other non-aggressive capitalist nations, as a means of common RP defense. And you announced yourself as Communist IC so I RP as that. On other notes, while Tekania is similar the the US in form, it is far different in operation... "Sophistry" and "Titles of Nobility" are in fact barred from government (IE. Lawyers cannot hold office)... no limits have been altered from the original 30,000 rule of "Representative" (of which we call Delegate) District representation. Presidents can only hold a single 4 year term (same impossition on Congressmen). So Tekania is far closer to the Democratic Federal Republic, than the US.

For your stipulations in deep space, and independant non-territorial regions, we concur. The Republic has no personal issues with your nation. And we will not provoke attack. And agree that cease-fire shall remain intact between our two governments and forces.

We honor your decision to close your borders as such, and have informed our people as such. Though we have no real power to stop civilian movement. On the opposite side, our borders are still open, and we have no problem with tourism, nor any use of established Republic trade routes, as long as its understood that we cannot get directly involved in your affairs, except in the case of piracy, where UN law would dictate we assist you. And we are bound to UN law over our own treaties.

There seems to be a strong Anti Socialist sentiment from you. At least your not giving me that " socialism does not work " crap. And I comend you for that.

We have no problem with socio-communist states in general. Only in the instance where they have tried to impose rule or control over the Republic and her people. Our alliance was for mutual defense in such cases, and does not extend above that. We abhor the anti-ist type movements that wish to erradicate others based on beliefs or ideals. The CDEA is a defensive and economic alliance, and not anti-ist in nature. During the formation we removed several representative delegates of those other movements. Our extent of anti-socialism extends to the limit of our personal experience of the ease of abuse of the system. Not to mention our Libertarian mentality keeps government involvement in people's lives to the minimum, so most of its concepts are alien to our needs or philosophy.
