The newly formed Republic of New Goliad is looking for allies among the nations of the world. Any overtures will be greatly appreciated.

What kind of nation are you? Right/left? Socialist/capitalist? Etc.

The current administration is moderate, though the people lean a little to the right, in the sense that they favor laissez faire economics and a strong military. We have a total of seven major political parties ("major"=offers a candidate for president at least every other election): Conservative, Liberal, Libertarian, Socialist, Green, Constitutionalist, and National Socialist. However, only the first four have any real representation in the government.Our Senate is pretty much split evenly, about 40% Conservative Party, 42% Liberal Party, 9% Libertarian, 7% Socialist, and 2% Other. Our Hall of Representatives is about 58% Conservative, 30% Liberal, 7% Libertarian, 4% Socialist, and 1% Other.
