Castro grimaced against the sun behind his dark aviator glasses as he raised his eyes to the mechanical monsters that were even now excavating the titanic hole in which his command was to be billetted upon completion. Raising his eyes even further, he brought up a hand to shade his face as he pondered the sky. Even now, surveilance satelites were likely taking God only knew how many pictures of the site as analysts pondered its possible use.
