Terrible news has struk The Antorian region. Antorian president Thom Becket and his son have been reported as "missing". The president and his son were on their way back home after a long and exhausting fishing trip. The exclusive Antorian Ship was espected to return at 10 pm. Unfortunately, until now the ship didn't arrive. A large search-operation has been started by the the governement. Prime minister Klechladesh has taken control over the operation and the country until the president and his son are refound. Thom Beckets wife exploded in tears when the devastating news was reported. There remains few hope to survival, but Klechladesh stated that thay will only stop searching when they found their missing president. President Becket was a proud symbol of civilian rights and peace in Antor. The whole country is covered in grief.

The nation of Haejong wishes to offer condolences to the people of Antor. WE are very sorry to hear this news, and we will notify your government if there are any leads.

Haejong has a large criminal element, especially in the sparsely inhabited steppes region. Kidnappings unfortunately are not uncommon in Haejong, it is possible that bandits or pirates may have taken your president and his son and crossed the border into Haejong. We will contact the national police force as soon as possible.

Though we do not know what he is wearing, our president may be possible wearing a hawaïan shirt, which he likes very much.

Today, the wreck of the Antorian Royal Ship has been found. The ship appears to have been ripped a part by a giant explosion. Even fever hope remains now. A little rubber boat is missing, so there is still the possibily they did safely escape the explosion. We continue to search and are very thankful towards the other nations providing help.

The navy and army and helicopters have been dispatched and will be under the command of your troops until they are found.


The ships and divers will search the water. 3 Helicopters will search the water. 2 Helicopters and the 500 troops will search the land near beaches.


How long ago were they missing? could they have traveled far if they got to land?

They went missing 27 hours ago. The Antorian Royal Ship was found by the help of GPS at 523 kilometers away the nearest island and 589 km away from Antorian shores.

The Republic of ISAF wishes to help the rescue operation any way it can. We have never known what it is like to have the First Family go missing.

To help your seach efforts, a Cygnus Class Strike Carrier has been dispatched, with a modified contingent, stocked with AWACS and Coast Guard D-15 Dropships. A number of frigates and destroyers will be doing constant sweeps of a 500 mile radius of the wreck.

It would be useful if we knew what kinds of communication the family is capable of (flares, lights, etc.), and any distinguishing markings on the raft. We will, if our current arrangement is unsatisfactory, give you direct control of our seach efforts.

We are unaware of their communication capabilities. But we do know they have a GPS and radio on board. However it is very unlikely for these machines to work properly. We would already have found or president otherwise.

Antor has declared 3 days of national grief.

Update: our navy appears to have found a weak radio transmission. We tracked it and found their boat at a small island. However the president and his son are still missing. Skies have cleared a bit. The refinding of their boat indicates they may be still alive.

In light of the recent update, 6 D-15s and an AWACS have relocated their search to the immediate area surrounding the island. One dropship, equipped with high-output speakers, does rounds of the island's perimeter, broadcasting this repeating message:

"This is Echo 3, Rescue. Mr. President, we are aware that you are on this island. If at all possible, please give us a sign. It will greatly help the recovery effort. So long as there is hope, you will not be left behind. <repeats>"

At closer examination of their boat a video tape was found. It appeares terrorists have kidnapped our beloved president. They want the governement to let their "freedom warriors" depart from prison. Also they want 500million antus + 20million antus per "freedom warrior". Antor has no experience with this kind of situations and asked advice.

Troughout the country everybody who is able to walk is in the streets. 80% of the Antorian population (that's 200 million!) is estimated to be in the streets. Opinions are divided. Some feel we should strike with an iron fist, others say the governement must pay the large som of money. This demonstrtaes the large popularity of the president and his son. Women are being seen crying about their president, young schoolgrils are hysteric about their hero being kidnapped. Men are furieus and the Antorian priests have convicted this assault on the Antorian nation.

National Antorian Network tried to speek to the presidents wife or the 17 year old boyfriend of gay Tom Becket, the presidents son. There were various interviews with political members. The country is in complete anarchy and desoriëntation.

WE have come up with some new leads in light of the recent videotape. Somehow the Seilaan City broadcaster Ghul Lam TV had acquired a copy of part of the tape, and upon viewing it one of our korlaan* noticed a similarity between one of the depicted terrorists and a bandit apprehended in the country some few days ago. This prompted a new session of interrogation, and after some coercion, the 'bandit' revealed that he belonged to a cell of the organization Rising Wave that has surfaced in a few police reports recently. We do not know much about Rising Wave but believe that it may have ties to the terrorists who have kidnapped the president and his son. More later.

*korlaan: loosely translated as "constable". Korlaan are employed by the National Police force to patrol rural territory outside of the major cities. Based on the traditional roaming enforcers on horseback of pre-unified Haejong, they usually travel the steppes on motorbike, by themselves or in pairs.

Capt. McEllan sat in his quarters, thinking. This was getting more like a Bond novel every passing freaking moment. First, it was a search effort, then it was a rescue, then it is a hostage situation. It was getting difficult to keep up with it all.

But it was all moot. The ISS Allenfort was leaving. An Aircraft Carrier, stocked with rescue equipment was no good for a hunt for terrorists. In fact, they would be leaving in about a half an hour, unless command told them otherwise.

Then there was a knock on the door.

"Come in."

A short, skinny ensign sheepishly poked his head in the door.

"Sir? It's command on the horn."

Shit, McEllan thought.

"Alright, I'll take it in here."

The light on the phone came on.

"Capt. McEllan here."

"McEllan..."

It was Admiral Bosch. Admiral John Jacob Bosch, the man who sent him here. All hope of this not being about him not going home just went down the shitter.

"...and I hope you keep up the good work when you come back."
"Of course, sir. We'll report to..." Shit! What was the port he just said? "Uh...."
"Jacranda Harbour?"
"Yeah..."
"Get some sleep. You sound tired."
"Is that an order?"

And that was the end. Shit, shit shit! They were restocking. He had done this before. And the plot thickened...

The USN stands with Antor in this time of confusion. We wish we could send more, but we are a young nation.

McEllan oversaw the resocking of the Allenfort. It now had a more conventional stock of F-57Cs, D-15s, and V-29REs - more than enough for a concentrated terrorist hunt.

But he still wanted to go home.

His wife and kids were at home, along with his prized 66' Mustang GT350H, his trusty dog Max, and everything else in this world that meant anything to him. He tried to remember why he was volunteered for this mission.

'Cuz it was supposed to be easy, his subconscience reminded him. But it never was easy. His thoughts drifted to conflicts past, all foreign. He remembered the times where NAVCOM (Naval Command) had assured him that he would "Be in and out, just like that". And it was always bullshit- he never was just in and out. It was always, "Sorry McEllan, something's come up," or, "You must help! Think of the reprocussions if you don't!".

The last Valefor was put on deck. His pager told him that they were fully restocked, and that they would be leaving within the hour. He was smoking his last cigarette. It was ten minutes until his pager rumbled again.

"Now what?" he muttered before he could see its display. It read: "ONWARD TO ANTOR, FOR VICTORY...... AND THE VIRGIN POPULATION...RICK."

Capt. McEllan chuckled. It was his good friend Rick Majors, the Deck Sergeant.

It was the last time he chuckled the entire trip.

Antor, we've just received information from a korlaan relay station that a gunfight has broken out in the rural village of Tarong. You may be interested since the three korlaans passing through the town were attacked by bandits associating themselves with Rising Wave. Two of the korlaans were killed, one, Tiong Serang, was wounded, and three members of the cell were killed. The townspeople, luckily, managed to subdue and capture the fourth present member of the cell. During informal interrogation, he revealed that he knew of two possible areas the Rising Wave was considering for holding the president and his son (Interrogation of the other captured terrorist revealed that top Wave officials did not inform the lower members of all the possible sites.) One area was an abandoned farm in rural South Haejong, to which we have just dispatched the closest 20 korlaan. The other location, actually... is a civilian airfield in Antor.

Should you wish to interrogate the captured terrorists yourself, we will have them ready at the Seilaan City airstrip for you to pick them up. Tiong Serang is also willing to travel to Antor as an advisor as soon as he has recovered from his broken arm and gunshot wounds.
