OOC:Before you start asking... yes I have played to much of 'Naval Ops: Commander'

The Goverment of Red Tide today has stated its intent too build a superfast state-of-the-art cruiser. The new ship-named 'Wirbel-Wind'-will have a top speed of 45 knots(if that is too much or too little tell me and I will decrease/increase it). It will be powered by a MK-2000 'Safe' Atomic Reactor. The armament will include 4 10inch 3-barrelled naval gun turrets, 2 46.3cm Oxygen Torpedo Launchers, 2 35mm Heavy Chain guns, 6 12.6mm machineguns, 2 Anti-Sub Missile Launchers, 1 Anti-Air Missile Launcher, and 2 88mm superfast firing cannons. It will also be commisioned with all modern electronics needed for this type of ship. The armor is rather weak at only 12cm deck armor and 15cm hull armor. Its length is 700 feet and greatest width is 75 feet. Displacement is around 15,700 tons. Completion time is 1and a half years. Crew is 90 officers, 1,100 sailors. As of now only TWO of these new ships are to be built. Height above waterline is 20 feet(the remaining 8 feet are below water).

Strengths:High Speeds, decent weaponry.
Weaknesses:Light Armor

How long is it? How Wide is it? Time for it to complete Construction? Crew size? Height above waterline? Displacement? All that sorta stuff your missing. Though i hate him i sugest you go and look at Doujins site to get a good approxamation of what people expect from a warship in NS.

Just thought I'd point something out. History has repeatedely shown (*cough* WW2 *cough*) that 12 millimeter machine guns are not all that usefull for naval armament, not even as anti aircraft guns.

OOC:I know... its just that the Red Tide leader is a bit... shall we say... out of his mind. As for the stuff I am missing... thank you. I will go looking for Doujins threads.
