The title of this thread is wrong. I made a big mistake creating the RL claims thread, but I can't turn my back away from it. I'm being bulldozed by bullshit daily and in other threads it keeps popping up like vermin. And we all know what needs to be done with vermin. I'm seeing a lot of dumbasses (yes those people are dumbasses who can't read worth a shit) who find it necessary to reply to every thread in existance regardless wether its a valuevle addition, an important piece of information or whatever. If you don't have anything meaningful to say: SHUT THE HELL UP.
Nobody cares if you condemn this or that. Normally people provide a reason and/or motive what prompted them to make their decision. Make it into a nice story or pay at least some attention to how you're going to put it.

So damn simple and yet people don't read any of the stickies or OOC messages at the start of a thread. You know why International Incidents has degraded from a good forum to a hole in the wall? Because the BIG diffirence between NationStates and International Incidents is that people in NS can read. In II the majority or minority can't. Why? Because people here are either lazy or need spectacles fast. Read the damn stickies, they serve a purpose no matter how biased or wrong they are. If I was in charge here I'd hellban a LOT of people. Don't know what a hellban is? Make the people's posts who are hellbanned only visible for mods and admins. Too bad it will never happen. If you haven't read the stickies my advice to you is: read them or fuck off. People who think they can do everything without them, feel free to embarrass yourself. Some basic information is useful to everybody here. And YOU are no exception.
One more thing, if you come here and starting to spray nonsense like: "you can add them to the ignore list" No I can't moron, how am I supposed to put everybody on it when I don't know what they're going to say? Another trend I hate, bumping a thread every 10 seconds. We know you made the thread about whatever subject. LEAVE IT. If nobody posts then you've either made a mistake or nobody gives a rat's ass about it.
I remember II as a place where more action was than NS. War was something fun and NOT OOC CRAP. I'm reading a random war right now. 90% of the posts is total wanking about statistics of modern tech junk. NO IT TRAVELS AT BLAH BLAH BLAH WRONG IT GOES IN AN ARC BLAH BLAH BLAH... You can fill in the rest. I hear you thinking, what does this have to do with bad reading skills? Everything. Everything? Everything. Why? Because it's clear that people who haven't read the stickies don't know that war costs money. Lots of money. When I'm looking at II drinking a glass of milk is less common than war.

Because the forum transfer destroyed all the old links to the older stickies I'll repeat briefly what it said:
Imploded to good: you can't even support yourself so why wage war? Total nonsense.
Strong to thriving: it's getting better, but a full scale war isn't possible. Small scale conflicts are ok though.
Powerhouse to frightening: everything is possible
Income tax: When it's zero, you might be a free market hoolala but you're missing out a vital source of income. If you're above 2 billion it doesn't matter anymore but from 6 million to 1 billion it DOES matter.
