Communications officer Paulson looked up from his computer - “Captain Morris – urgent fax from dispatch...*reads* Urgent. Urgent. Nation of Belem under blockade. Military activity level high. Non-combatant ships should use extreme caution in navigation corridors in vicinity.”

The Captain sighed as he took his seat on the bridge…A return trip to Wolfish was out of the question…there would be nothing left of the cargo – a load of produce destined for the lucrative markets in Belem.

“Continue on course,” said the Captain, by way of reply. “There’s no use turning back now –we’re likely already inside this blockade.”

The Blockade Fleet Appears off The Coast of Belem, and starts to point thier guns at The Coast, incase Belem Fires on The Fleet.

Fighters, all Sivik Stealths are Launched from The Carriers to Patrol The Skies over The Fleet.

Muru points out that, in the BEST of circumstances, Hataria would be outgunned 6 to 1. (between population and economey).

Hataria has been under attack for years, this is hardly the best of circumstances.

Muruians medical ships will be on-station to aid Hatarian wounded after Belem tears them a new one.

In Peru, Shipyards are starting to build more Ships, since Peru is one of the Few Provinces that is Rich from Trade with HP and Whittier.

IC: Belem Coastal defense wall systems go on Red Alert. as 20 16 inch and 4 22 inch gun batteries begin targetting the Hatarian fleet. Javelin coastal missile systems begin painting targets as well as active sonorbuoys and M.A.D. detection systems.

In under 5 minutes all the systems are in place and the attack begins.

The Guns open fire directy into the enemy fleet. There shots are distributed evenly amongst all the ships by the 22 inch guns focus solely on the battleships. 225 Javelin seaskimmer missiles are fired at the enemy fleet from positions up and down coastal defense(most launchs are from 30 miles away to let the missiles speed up to full speed.) The missiles are moving mach 3-4 and contain a 100 pound silicone composite warhead(equivelent of 400 pounds of conventional explosives.) they are targetted evenly amongst the ships in the fleet.

Against air forces:

For every Hattarian plane in the air 3 missiles are launched, half the missiles launched are Kracken long range defense missiles(they go about mach 7 in end phase) and Scorpion long range AA missiles(think phoenix except it goes mach 6 instead of 5 in terminal phase.)

Our Taskforce, having common sense which Hataria seems to lack, is patrolling the busiest trade route, the lesser ones are of minimal importance or uncontrollable.

IC: Commander Aiga, picks up the red phone. Rarely does he get these calls. "It must be an emergenecy" said the commander to the Petty Officer beside him. He had hoped that it was. he was the only immigrant Commander in the entire fleet. Tensions had been going on between him and the other commanders and he constantly knew that if he had made even one mistake, they would demote him. "Yes" "I'm on iy, just give the bearing." The Petty Officer overheard Aiga talk to his superior. "We are going to Belem."
"Why sir?" questioned the PO.
"Because Hataria has blockaded Belem and the Admiral wants me to stop the Hatarian fleet." Figures. They probably want to get rid of him in the best most "honorable" way possible. Like sending one a single battleship against an entire fleet was honorable. It was a good ship, he SMS Camacona. In fact the best in the fleet.......

ooc: a ship would take 6 months to a year the quickest to be produced thats basically how it was during World War II. they were having the parts prebuilt at factories then bring entire rooms and stations for ships in via rail.

Hataria actually have hundreds of thousands of troops currently invading their bomb-scarred, burning "cities" (slighly larger piles of rubble). They are hardly american as the peak of it's production.

Belem thanks Demidia for its support. And any help to stop the Hatarian fleet from retreating would be appreciated. Though we doubt much of the fleet will be able to even survive the first barrage.

The two P.T. Boats speed up to the Wolfish Freighter one breaking West another eas to flank the ship at a distance of approx. 5 miles away from the ship(ooc: your radar would have a hard time telling exactly where they are because they are only about 35 feet long and low on the horizon.)

"This is PT 1047(Western one, west is the coast) here to escort you to Imperial Harbor in Imperial Center. Please maintain your current course and speed and we shall provide you with navigational information."

Meanwhile the PT boat between the Freighter and the Hatarian fleet launches 1 guided torpedo towards the Wolfish freighter

"This is PT 1562. We have hostile fire inbound. Submarine launched Torpedo taking advise actions. ADVISE Wolfish Freighter to make immediate turn to port(left)."

As soon as the Planes past the 150 mark the 25 Tigersharks each launch 4 Javelin(air launched version) seaskimmer missiles at the Arenumberg fleet. The fighters all break and start turning six heading back towards the shore. Half are on seaskim attack mode half high attack mode(high altitude 45 degree angle attack)

ooc: Air launched version is the same as ship or ground launched except it has half the range so the 150 miles is just within seaskim range. The high altitude attack mode gives it about double the range.

The Two Alabama Class Destroyers depart from Mesazoic, heading for the blockade. They will fire apon Hataria's forces, from around a mile away. These Destroyers have Missiles ready to be launched. If there are still enemy forces on radar, they will fire with what ever weapons necacary.

“Alright, now lets get out of this duck-shoot,” said the gruff Captain as the Belem PT boat made contact.

Seconds later, the Captain hear radio chatter… “This is PT 1562. We have hostile fire inbound. Submarine launched Torpedo *static* Wolfish Freighter *static* turn to port!”

“Sir - torpedo inbound from the Hatarian fleet…”

“HELM – FULL OVER TO 2-7-0. STARBOARD BOW THRUSTERS TO MAXIMUM – PORT BOW THRUSTERS TO FULL-REVERSE. MAIN ENGINES FULL AHEAD…”

The Captain kept barking orders until the torpedo slammed into the thin hull of the ship – there was no way for a slow moving cargo ship would ever out-maneuver a fast moving guided torpedo.

At impact the crew froze. They all felt it hit the hull – a great groan as metal met metal – then, silence as the warhead buried itself deep into the engine room before detonating.

A huge burst of sea-spray flew straight up – raining down seconds later on the startled crew – the Captain watched in stunned silence as the explosion rocked the ship.

“Captain – the centre line is snapped – they’ve cracked us open – taking on water in holds 3, 4, 6, 7 and 9….fire alarms ringing in sections M through V…automatic fire suppression is down… *a secondary explosion rocks the ship as a bunker fuel storage tank detonates* flooding alarms ringing everywhere – the ship is lost Captain…the SHIP is LOST CAPTAIN.”

The crewman ran to the Captain – who continued to stare blankly into space.

“SIR – WE’VE GOT TO GET OUT OF HERE.” *another secondary explosion* “SIR --- WE’RE ALL GOING TO DIE IF WE STAY!”

The Captain was in his own world – remembering years on the seas – battling raging winter storms…his first commission as Captain…his time in the Wolfish Navy…

The Helmsman picked up the intercom… “All hands abandon ship – All hands abandon ship.” he looked over to the radio operator. Who was turning dials and pressing buttons… “Tim? What’s up?”

“I don’t know…I’ve broadcast an SOS – but I’m not getting a response…I don’t know if anyone heard or not.”

“Doesn’t matter – we need to get out of here.”

The two bridge crew ran to down the stairs, and out to the main deck, it was harder to see from the deck – too many large cargo containers lashed to the deck…but they made their way to the Evacuation Zone, where the safety officer was suiting people in cold-water survival suits, before sending them over the side, down a escape tube, to a waiting life boat far below. The light on the top of the life boat was already flashing, indicating its broadcast to the world of the Omega’s imminent demise.

Within 15 minutes the great ship was listing almost 20 degrees – and the crew watched from half a kilometre away from the safety of their much smaller vessels…through binoculars the group could see the captain, standing on the roof of the wheel house, tears in his eyes as the ship slowly slipped beneath the waves.

The light on the top of the life boat was already flashing, indicating its broadcast to the world of the Omega’s imminent demise.

ooc: Are you daft? First off - the General was merely updated on what COULD be deployed if necessary - no "marching orders" have gone out.

Second - you don't even know what kinds of forces I keep at the island - a little research might be needed prior to attempting to take a military-base island by force.

Third - why don't you RP some information of your own regarding the sinking - surely you know that you didn't fire the torpedo.

For you, it doesent makes any change if you have all your ships sunk, you always have an new navy to put in action. Your troops can be bombed for days, and just losts some 200 out of 200 000. That`s not far It`s GODMODING.

if you are 400 miles away then the missiles were launched in high attack mode(high altitude flight less fuel is used and they hit the fleet at 45 degree angle.) That increases the range to 500-600 miles depending on weather conditions.

The Fleet slid silently through the water, or as silent as 20 Carriers and their escorts could go, their bows breaking the waves slapping against their hulls.

In the skies above the fleet, 400 Bombers broke the sound barrier, some long range bombers sent from a nearby island base, heading for the forces that had just been landed in the ports, of course, most of the bombers were expected to be destroyed during their flight too, and back, from the ports of Belem, but any damage caused to the Imperial Forces was acceptable recompense.

Belem's AA Defenses Downed 1/4 of the Bombers before they were even in range, but 3/4 Dropped their payload on the troops, as they were unloading, targetting their ships, the port facilities, and the trops themselves, during the retreat, 1/2 of the remaining bombers were destroyed, but below, explosions rocked the ports...

Defense satelites over Belem pick up the incoming bomber mass at over 600 miles out and begins scrambling Fighters. Over 300 Mosquito interceptors are launched(think a mig 17 tpye fighter flown by air militia, there designed to just overwhelm bombers) 100 Viper interceptors link up with them in the air and head towards the unescorted bombers.

The intercept point is about 300 miles offshore at a distance of 75 miles the 100 Vipers each launch 4 Long range Scorpion missiles into the bomber fleet. The fighters increase there speed to over mach to close the gap between the two groups. At 20 miles the Mosquitos each fire 2 Medium range missiles at the bombers.

The group then moves in to begin cannon runs on any remaining bombers before they can reach the coast.

10 Ships were Sunk, The Rest of The missiles were taken out by The EMP 'cannon'. (It looks like a giant Satalite Dish)

The Subs start launching The Deadly "Raptor" U-Missile, with a EMP war Head.

In the midst of the fighting, a single duck is desperately trying to escape. He dodges missile after missile, shell after shell, his wings flapping... his heart pumping. He must survive, he must. He flies down to the water, dodging the artillery fire from the various boats. His efforts, however, are in vain. A single cruise missile, intent on its path, is fired from a Hatarian battleship. The duck turns, looks at the missile.... the last thing he will see. The missile hits the duck and explodes. The duck is dead.

30 B-2 bombers tore off the airfields of Tabriz and flew towards Hataria's capital. Their bomb bays were full of cluster munitions. Captian Bijan Taheri looked out over the mountains nestling fair Tabriz in a great bowl formed by mountains. He sighed, Tabriz was his home and he hoped he would live to see it again. He was ready for the mission ahead, it would take time for the air to air refuelings and other such things... but it mattered not, just as long as he landed in fair Tabriz once again.

350 Missiles from The Hatarian Fleet are also Launched, These on the other hand are not like The enemy Missiles, these are Hataria's newist Anti Missile Defense Missile, The Hack Attack.

This Sea skimming Missile heads for the enemy Missiles, where they will Send a electronic Signal that will "hack" in to The Missile and cause it's Warhead to Blow Up!.

yeah i call bullshit on that basically because 1. my missile would need to have a radio reciever that your missile just happens to be transmitting on and these arent radio guided missiles and i doubt they even exist 2. you would have to know the exact programming language used for the software inside the missile and in order to do that you would need non damaged working versions of the Javelins and since I dont sell them or let other countries have them you would have no way to know what systems there using.

As you have not posted how many planes attack, I assume three. Therefore three missiles per plane = 9 missiles.

8 missiles are shot down by CIWS, one hits a carrier, causing minor damage.

Another wave of planes armed with the same systems fly out to attack the 2nd fleet with the Hex II missiles (nuke warheads, remember). 250 planes fire two Hex missiles each then chase after your 3 planes (you did not say they returned to the carriers). 4 Awe King missiles are fired at each plane.

The 250 planes patrol the area, waiting to intercept Hatarian Planes that may plan to attack the fleet.

Each destroyed fleet (there have been, what, 6 sunk so far in this battle) also takes with it probably close to 20,000 crew, perhaps 1,000 of which are officers, with probably a dozen or more officers of Flag Rank (Commodore and above) in each. Unless Hataria is commissioning new-borne babes at flag rank, they must be running awfully low on trained personnel at this point.

The new Hatarian fleet will be intercepted by the 9th Imperial Fleet stationed 700 miles off the coast. The 9th fleet is maintaing approx. 25% of its fighters airborne all time for cap and over a dozen ASW choppers on patrol.

Or perhaps your Yorktown Class Carriers have been specially modified by the crack Hatarian shipyards so that they can line up end-to-end (and the towers duck out of the way) so that you can have your two miles of runway. You B1s will do better - they only need 8000' of runway. Maybe if you make them circle while taxiing on the (less than 1000') decks of your carriers, they can get up to speed!

Stopping to do Search-and-Rescue, eh? I'd think that a SAR operation would take between two and ten hours minimum, during which time the bulk of your fleet would have to halt to pick up survivors. (you can't pack 20,000 people onto a couple of destroyers, you know. Not even Hatarian shipyards have a shoehorn that strong.) Oh, you don't get to pick where you do SAR operations. You have to GO where the other ships were SUNK. Your sailors won't swim 400 miles to make it more convenient for you to pick them up.

A stopped fleet is a missle and bomb target. At no time have any of the other combatants been asked for or offered a cease-fire so you could do SAR. Looks to me like you've just declared yourself a sitting duck for their attacks.

I would not (and will not) accept those conditions ITD, as I beleive they are too 'fair'. It was after all, Hataria who began this war, and he should be made to pay for it.

By agreeing to the peace terms, we would be allowing his blatent god-modding to go unpunished. That would mean that he does it again, and no-one wants that do they?

Lets not forget that the Hatarian government has bands of radioactive mutants to look after, and that said mutants are innocent of the crimes committed by the Hatarian government. A solution which benefits these mutants and removes the Hatarian government would be more appropriate than the total annihilation you seem to favour.
