Santa Monita

"Stand down on your knees!" screamed the soldier, who was standing over who could be described as just a regular citizen. But this was no man. No man could follow the evils which was Karl Marx, and so he must be prepared to die.

Pulling out the handgun, the soldier pulled the trigger and fired a bullet into the man's skull, sending him to the ground in a bloody mess. Laughing to himself, he continued the evil rampage through the streets which were slowly being stained red. The colour of communism.

SM News: Communists Executed Under Presidential Decree

Today, some three-thousand communists and socialists have been declared an enemy of the state by General Xiago Yang, and have been murdered brutally in the streets of Santa Monita.

Never before had such a display of violence occured within the nation, however the President promises more displays to follow if those in the left-wing do not conform with governing regulations. It has been said that within a month, all communists and socialists will be murdered. Within three months from that date, so will their families.

This is Jason Aiodh, with the Republican News Network:

Prime Minister Sean Dempsey and the Parliament of the Republic issued the following statement after reports of the mass executions within Santa Monita.

"The Republic of Mac Cumhail has resolved, unanimously in Parliament, to denounce and condemn the murders of the people of Santa Monita for adhering to their political beliefs. While we do not agree with the ideals of Communism, it is the ideals we oppose, not the people. We hereby offer any refugees who wish safe passage from Santa Monita asylum in our borders. We demand that the government of Santa Monita stand down from their assaults, and allow their membership who so desire to be transported to the Republic's shores at the expense of the government.

~In the office of the Prime Minister~

"God Donchad...why must we come to power at a time when we're least able to affect any change on the world?" The Prime Minister had his face obscured by his hands, rubbing them...he felt stubble there. Time to shave soon...why was he thinking about that just now?

The National Defence Minister just shrugged, "Sir, ideals are wonderful things, and I shudder to think what our people would be like without them. But they require the ability to back them up if asserted, and right now we just don't have it. We've done the right thing in denouncing them, but we realistically can't expect to land the Fianna on their shores and secure the safety of the people. Take it a step at a time, Sean." He said this last compassionately, patting the PM on the shoulder before departing.

Sitting alone in his office, the Prime Minister stared at the ceiling.
