He opened his mouth and spoke.

"It is with great pain that I must do this, and with a feeling of sadness for the Hatarian people. Those of us know that Hataria has been devastated many times and lay in ruins, and still their dictator builds on. He causes his people to suffer, his economy to suffer, and his country to suffer. I have decided, with the backing of the Congress, that Ratheia is to send 75 of its T-60S Bombers to destroy every single military installation in Hataria. We offered them a chance to rebuild their country, and they denied us. So we will do it for them, by force."

He looked into the camera.

"I hope you are watching this, Dictator of Hataria, because some things never change. Including you."

He stepped down and was escorted by armed guards to the office of the Secretary General of Defense.

And not so far off in the distance, 75 T-60S Bombers raced down the runway.

The bombers raced down the runway and took off, quickly gaining altitude and being met up with their 2 MIG 1.42 Escorts. They advanced higher and higher and the bombers reached their crusing altitude of 15,000 feet at which point all Ratheian ships advanced to cruising speed of Mach 2.3

The warhead exploded with shocking force, as did all the other missiles with several errors causing failed detonation.

The Bombers and their escorts went up to maximum height of 20,000 feet and flew to Ratheia at a cool speed of Mach 2.5, their mission successful. All that was left to do was to have the UN take control of Hattaria and help it's economy.

Ratheia itself plans to donate 100 Million Dollars to Hatarian restoration.

the 75 B-52s approached Hatarian airspace, the EF-2000s easily bested the HAF's warplanes, the Louisian war had drained resources. Through the fighters, the B-52s dropped their payload on various military encampments resulting in massive damage, espically from the 4 50,000 lb bombs, which targeted the Hatarian capital with devistating effect.

I have a small force of 2,000 SpecOps troops that I would like to deploy for the occupation once the war is over. My economy just tanked as I authorized the disassembly of *one* company for breaking antitrust laws, so I do not risk full war. Additonally, my military is not well equipped at this time. The GMS Vanquish is to be stationed in international waters, to monitor this situation. We are curious to see which side kills the most innocent civilians in this conflict.

Robotic camera drones (like the ones being used in Iraq IRL), flew over critical beachheads, noting the positions of defenses. A few drones were shot down of course, and the position of the SAM sites and AA batteries was also noted.

First, the subs and distroyers launched their cruse missles, targeting the AA batteries. With the entire fleet's long-range firepower concentrated on such a small area (the beachhead and area around it), plus with the scouting, few survived.

With the majority of the AA threat dispersed, the carrier lauched their bombers and their fighter escort. They did not venture inland, but puverized the few remaining SAM sites, and then used all their remaining ordance on the beach defenses.

And so, when the first wave of 10,000 troops disembarked, they were almost totally unopposed.

That's 350 guns that are relevant to this little exercise, given that a country with hataria pop must be large, that's a maximum or 1 or so guns per square mile. Since i'm only clearing the area around the landing beach, your only adding single-or low double didget MOBILE AA guns to the situation. Hardly a match for a full artillery barrage with accurate scouting.

As for your ground troops, they will be relevant if you counter attack, for now, their only more people killed by the artillery and jets.

Since the F-15E's have to fly FROM somewhere (shore or another carrier), they would ahve to come too the fleet. Since the fleet is only using it's long range weapons, they are still far enough away to get intercept fighters up.

Post how many F-15's you sent so we can RP the dogfights.

Look, run my nation through the calculator. At full millitary conscritpion with compulsory service in war time, 10% of the population serving in the millitary (either activly or in the reserves), is the max reasonable. So givin my pop, i will have no problems manning these ships.

The missle subs were built back when i had a "Great" economy. And while my economy is now only "Good". My millitary budget is still (accoring to the calculator), Twenty Billion Dollars A Year, that's 1/4th of what the United STates of American spends on the pentagon IRL. So i would say i most certanly CAN afford a fleet this size.

It's moot, bombs are flying, the threat of full-scale nuclear war is in the air. And a prolounged ground war would devistate the country (or any country for that matter).

Win or loose, Hataria's ability to wage aggressive warfare across the globe has been crippled, mission accomplished.

Another 500 T 90 tanks have just been transferred to Hataria. We are considering the transfer of 1,000 F 16's.

While we will not support either side in this conflict (pulled out earlier), we will be watching as things unfold. And hope it is done with the minimum possible civilian casualties.
