In the capital of Varanasi, Parliament was meeting for the first time. The delegates were gathered together to begin a chapter of a new, Republican tradition in Maghda. As the delegates took their seats a monarchist congressman brought forth a proposition to vote upon. "My friends, this new democracy is a curse upon Magdha and our traditions. Our royal house has ruled with absolute power since the days of Indra. We must abolish ourselves and any new reforms.
Around the room heads nodded as the delegates pressed the "yes" votes upon their desks. An almost unanimous vote ended the blossoming democracy and began another chapter in Magdhan history.
