Shelbin, Jarridia; Message from Presidential Palace

As of today, Jarridia announces its stance against Hataria. We have sat idly by for some time, and watched you, time after time, enter into warfare and make a mockery of all that is just in the world. Nations have risen against you, and indeed, much of the world is disgusted by your actions.

Many of you may see our actions as overkill, since Hataria already has many enemies, but we feel it is only necessary for the future of Jarridia, and of the respect of our allies, that we do so.

We can no longer allow this unjustice to take place, from this point forward, hostilities exist between our two nations. This is NOT a declaration of war or of any armed attack, we are merely stating our outrage and disgust against the government of Hataria.

At this we wish to ask Hataria to please cease and desist all military actions against nations. If you do so in a timely and friendly manner, then you will recieve admiration, and shall set an example to nations in the world. However, if you do not, Jarridia will be forced to move against you.

To all nations currently involved Hataria. I would like to enter into discussions with you all about the possibility of creating a "Coalition for the Prevention and Containment of Hatarian Warfare." I feel that if we unite in this common cause, we shall be more victorious in the end. Thank you.

The Goverment of Terronian will stand behind its allie Jarridia, and in case of a coalition, we would love to be a part of it, although having no prior actions, let alone hostillitys with Hataria, we have watched there actions.

The Arab Socialist Republic of Al Anbar, having no real reason to actually join this alliance, will for the time being remain on friendly terms with Hataria and will continue normal diplomatic and economic ties.

The Kingdom of Kopparbergs Karelia would stand neutral in this upcoming conflict. We friendly ask Hataria to do as Jarridia says, and then begin to solve this conflict in an diplomatic way.

However, if Hataria contiunes to play "wargames" with every nation he find unfriendly (which indeed is many), we understand that Jarridia may take military action. We will not ally with Jarridia in this potential war, not with Hataria.

Gorkon disagrees with Hatarian policies. In fact, Gorkon Military High Command does not recognise the current Hatarian government at all. Although Hataria has not yet made aggressive movements against us or our allies, given the fact that they are working through the atlas attacking nations one by one, it is only a matter of time before they inflict damage upon our interests. With this in mind, Commander-in-Chief Benjamin Greeson himself has authorised me to pledge Gorkon's support for your cause.

However, we have noticed that Hataria has an almost unGODly way of avoiding any damage whatsoever to his nation [Amazing subtle way of saying GODMODDER in character, eh?]. Until this changes, the Generals are still debating whether or not to devote any troops to possible military actions.

The government of the Eternal Dragons would like to affirm its stance of being Neutral in these present hostilities. However the government would like to suggest that sanctions or military presence be placed on the country known as Hataria, as to avoid any future conflicts the country may seek to exploit.

Intriguingly enough, Hataria, we have no problem with you placing an embargo on our merchant shipping, seeing as none of our merchant ships go there. However, the very notion was enough to convince our generals to recommend to the Commander-in-Chief that we offer troops to this cause if necessary. The fact that you would rather make aggressive moves towards other nations rather than attempt diplomacy is evidence enough that you are a threat that requires elimination.

While we see little reason the formulate an official stance on Hataria, given our complete lack of contact with the nation. We undestand that their poor reputation proceeds them and that there are now many nation who seek war with them.

Due to our conciderable lack of interest in this nation and it's affairs, we are not going to support or condemn any wars against them. However we feel it should be noted that nations going to war with them will have very few qualms with Iuthia providing they conduct such wars with the utmost honour and care. We hope for minimal losses of civilian life and we will make a point of taking political action against those who would perposfully target civilian targets.

We here in Jarridia have always had the utmost respect for you. We certainly see your point, and would like you to know that we do not seek war. We are merely affirming our position against them, and are trying to ask them to come to the diplomatic table and end their conflicts immediately. However, they are seeming to refuse our peaceful attitude. The only thing they got from my ultimatum was that we may set up a coalition against Hataria. This is only going to happen if they refuse peace.

Please, do explain how anything I said was aggressive. I never tried to force Hataria into anything, just giving them an option. Peace or conflict? Which is it? Smart nations would choose peace, and you are not helping the situation. Do not pick a fight with a nation that you know nothing about. I will not be pushed around by you. When Hataria is ready to be a humane citizen of this planet, then he/she will gain respect from the rest of us.

An open threat of Embargo from Hataria to nations whose sovereign right it is to join any alliance they see fit will not stand. As a result Unified Sith Pledges to initiate an embargo upon Hataria. The first to fourth fleets will initiate this and the Eternal State requests all assistance from any possible allies.

OOC: Hataria the only thing a bully has to fear is an even bigger bully.

Unfortunately, Gorkon must withdraw its support from this cause, including the troops we have offered, to prepare for a more immediate threat. We apologise for being unable to assist. However, we are currently negotiating with a larger nation and may be able to convince them to lend their support in our place.

The United People of Studium heartily views Hataria as a threat to global security. We shall support your cause, however we urge a diplomatic resolution.

The Conglomerated Oligarchy of Frisbeeteria is marginally aware of a nation sometimes known as The Ignored Godmoddery of Hataria, but we do not consider them a threat. We have visited the nation of Hataria, and its citizens are among the most peaceful and pleasant in all of NationStates. The only real problem in Hataria is a lack of adequate day-care.

Their primary offensive weapon appears to be a ten-year-old child who has somehow been given access to that nation's only fax machine. The crayon scribblings of Kid Hataria are a threat to no one, and should be Ignored.

We advise this council to abandon this planned alliance.

The Kramden of West Cedarbrook conveys to the Government of Jarridia it's support in this matter. We have very few relations with Hataria, and no embassy in that nation. Commerce between West Cedarbrook and Jarridia will continue as normal.
