a image of Emperess showed up, she was wearing her royal robes. She looked up and spoke "ladys,Gentelmen, Incetiods,Boomers And all other races of the Dark Empire i come befor you not to inform you of good news but of bad. Several hours ago a coalition of Coreworlds and TFU ships attacked Clans of Orks called greenskinz, since the dark empire first entered space and ran into meny ork tribes and clans it was declared they to be protected by the empire.
Meny Ork groups in returned surpply resorces and actions for this protection and in time become Protectrates, the Greenskinz were delcared Protectrates only hours befor the attack and during the attack the Coreworlds/TFU empires were informed that attacking the Greenskinz would mean they attacked the Dark Empire, they didnt stop we do not know what has happened but can only fear the worse.
As of such i have declared with a 15:5 Vote war on the empires of TFU and Coreworlds and as such have given full clearance for Orbital bombardment with Fusion weapons and Biological weapons as well has HST weapons. as of now the 3rd and 4th fleets are on route to attack anyone Coreworld and TFU world in there parths, today we stand on the for front of death and we can do one of 2 things stand by and watch it murder the weak or stand up to it."

The Emperor was stunned, but not surprised. So...we face the consequences of our actions. Very well. But this time, I will not order bombardment beyond what is necessary, not like what I've done to Greenskinz. I will limit miltary action to the destruction of militarily valuable locations.

He looked at his hands, knowing that the blood he has shed, will never be unstained. He looked at his grandfather. "We now face a war against Corpsac for our actions, Grandfather."

"Indeed. It was to be expected." The old man stroked his chin. "We shall fight defensively. We shall limit our ortillery only to what is necessary. We will not unleash BDZ. Once is enough."

"Of course." The Emperor turned to his secretary of defense. "Begin planning assaults on Corpsac shipyards, supply routes, and other locations of military value. If they bomb our planets, plan for attacks on their capital and major population centers, but a limited strike only."

"Yes, sir."

To his cousin Yano, the SecState: "Contact the Empress and explain our actions to her. Even though we may not end the war that way, perhaps they will be more reluctant to fight."

"Yes, cousin."

"What else...oh, yes. Our objective here is to end the war, not destroy worlds. So that means we are to remove their ability to fight, and nothing else. Is that clear?" Heads nodded around the High Council table. "Good. Then this High Council session adjorned."

The Emperor sighed. Perhaps we were wrong to destroy that world despite our rationalization. But barring the ability to travel through time, we cannot change it. Nevertheless, hopefully, this war should end soon.

Andrew knew that the people would not be pleased when they hear of what the Navy has done. He will have to face that, too.

Undisclosed Space, outside TFU Borders

The black Templa's, the most feared Mercs in the Empire, Brutal, Cunning, Evil and just got a batch of 2nd Gen Combat boomers and Comand and Combat boomers. Evil was the 2nd gen since it had no idea what good or bad, Evil or good was not one idea. Boomers were feared in the empire for there brutal ways of going about things, and the 2nd gens were even more feared.

The Black Templas base was deep underground and the ships well hidden in the radiation of the dieing sun, and besides the system was worthless milltaryly or in a civilian manner so ships passing by was never going to happen. the cold dead planet they had made there base years ago was alive with activity, Mechs being repaired, People running around, Women and children and entire comunitie was there. For years the base had been getting bigger and so had the templas, that had started as 1 Divsion and a few ships now they had 5 Divsions, 2 Mech Divsions, 1 Boomer/AI Regiment and 1 Task force (space) of a total of 35 ships.
Normaly they where highered by the Corporations as a private army but today was different, the Goverment wanted them to hit TFU outposts along the Borders. They were hopeing to run into Coreworlds ships the loved scraping with them, tho they never won a battle that often just fighting Coreworlds vessals was an honor and to live was more so.

Corlon, Homeworld of the CorpSacian people and the heart of the dark empire

Then 2 figures entered the guards tryed to stop them but they waved there hands and threw the guards across the room. they both wore black cloaks from head to toe, covering there faces as they aproced the Emperess, then bowed.
"Emperess Sith, we hear you have gone to war" a male voice sead
"and you might be?" she sead crossing her legs as she spoke and sat on the throne at an angel.
"Im am Dark Master Kila'Marth and this is Master Sith Jaine" the male voice sead agian, they both lowered there hoods. 1 was a vary actractive female with long back hear, human, blue eyes. The other was a Stigmata Angent banished from the Dark Empire for Practiceing the Arts of the Sith.
"sith" she grawled standing up quickly "you dare return Kila'Marth"
"i came back to help" he sead "your father banished me for trying to take over the throne, but i see a strong leader and so i returned. and i also came back to give you some infomation" he smiled at her. "the Coreworlds jedis are no match for your Dark Jedi army if they were trained in the arts of the sith....they would be unstopable"
"and uncontrolable you forget Sith want power and only power they may be powerful but there stupid" Kamico replyed "but you have a point"
"well we have some of the most powerful Dark Jedis in the universe, we have immortals in the order, we train at any age were as a jedi doent if you allowed Jaine to train an elite few in the ways of teh sith then...maby you could trust me" Kila'Marth sead
"i dont trust you, but since this is war i will but Stigmata high lords will be watching you...make one false move and you will be killed" she waved him away sitting down.

The Emperor alerted all news networks that he is about to speak to the people and explain this new conflict.

"My fellow Coredians. You all know that several weeks ago, a fleet made up of Ork ships has attacked us at the signing ceremony of the UFP and tried to 'punish us' for not allowing them entrance into the alliance. We have then pursued the Orks back to their home planet."

At this time, the Emperor took a deep breath. The reaction of the people will depend on what he said next.

"We have pursued in this police action, and realized that the Orks have exacted terrible losses on our marines when they rammed and boarded several Star Destroyers. When we reached the planet called Gantris IV, we found that the Orks have had 250 million slaves under their ugly iron fists. Under advice of my grandfather Master Tenchi, I have ordered the complete destruction of that planet, because I knew that our marine divisions would not be able to defeat the Orks and free the slaves. Ladies and gentlemen, I did not make this decision lightly. In fact, it was the most terrible decision that I could ever make, and now, my hands are stained with their blood."

The Emperor took another deep breath.

"People of Coreworlds, our former ally Corpsac has declared war on us for this action, and yes, we will defend ourselves. That is not the point."

He pulled out his lightsaber and placed it on the desk in front of him, an odd gesture.

"If the majority of the people so choose, I shall abdicate the throne, and be tried if and when charges are placed against me. I allow this, because I know how horrified you must be that I ordered the bombardment, even though I did it to save the Marines' lives. I await your decision, and may the Force be with you."

Murmers rose in the Senate as the Emperor stepped down from the podium, and his political advisors looked like they were about to have a heart attack. But his son Daniel looked at him in a new light. By telling the truth of what transpired, he realized that his father had to be the bravest man he hever knew. Few politicians would have the guts to do what the Emperor did, because they would not realize that it was also a great political maneuver, to offer his own head to the chopping block.

The people soon spent the next several days in the voting booths, deciding whether or not the Emperor should step down and be charged with war crimes.

Corusca system, Just inside the Coreworlds border along the Coreworlds/CorpSac border

Captain grendal sat on the bridge, he sat thinking of his mission...to wipe out the colony in that system that had just over 5 million people liveing on it. He hated the idea, there wasnt even that much protecting the good forsaken rock and he was told to go there wipe the place out and then return home, fucking Scar tactics he thought.

In real space in close orbit of Corusca 5 jump points opened followed by a barrage of fusion torpedos and plasma bolter fire, the first Battle of the war had started....

The Nebulon-B frigate Watergate was caught off-guard by the sudden attack, but retaliated by launching fighters and torpedoes in return. The citizens, hearing the attack sirens, reported to shelters and antiaircraft weapons as drilled.

As the enemy fleet bored in, the Neb-B knew it was outnumbered, but the turbolasers and laser cannons it spat, not to mention a distress signal, meant that it fought to keep Corusca alive as long as possible. Every man and woman in the ship and gunships had family on the planet.

Konoha, CoreWorld space-

To the naked eye nothing had transpired. The eighty Ghost Maker class fightes blending into truespace in an instant, taking on the black hue of cold space. Their mission: Assess combat capability of CoreWorld fleets around Konoha. At close to light speeds they glided towards the lone planet, everything unknown to them. Sensors at full power and weaons charging.

They did not go undetected, for the Hokage Naruto Uzumaki sensed a threat from them, as well as the sensors. He sent 3 squadrons of Ninja fighters to intercept them.

The fighters cloaked as soon as they took off and headed for the Ghost Maker fighters, while an alert was called to the Firewraith fleet stationed several lightyears away.

When the ghostly Ninjas attacked, twin laser cannons blazed through the enemy fighter ranks. The cloaks momentarily dropped whenever they shot, but it was like fighting a telekinetic ghost.

"Liberity Target the planet hit it with fusion torpedos" Grendel order, the massive Tigerclaw Mk2 turned towards the planet and fired 4 fusion torpedos towards the planet.
The carrier let lose the Firewings VIIIs flew out in standard 8 fighter, all 105 went in to target any fighters that came at them.
The Echo BC opened fire with its Heavy Twin Plasma bolter and its Heavy Plasma cannon, slaming into the Neb-B frigate as one of the Tigerclaw Destroyers tryed to get behind it. the battle was going to be short, tho one of the Tigerclaw destroyers rear section was riped apart by the frigate befor it got its shields up, it was drifting towards the planet with escape pods flying off of it.
The Libertiy carryed on fireing at the planet, then it slowly turned Targeted the gunships with Muti fusion Missiles at them. Behind the ship Mushroom cloads could be seen from the 5 gigaton fusion warheads exploded in the major cities. Then a new Hyperspace jump point opened and the Desalator exited, some of the fighters dis engaged and covered it as it took orbit around the planet.

Dog fights between the Firewings and the coreworlds fighters filed the blackness of space, they had to hold out for 5 more minutes for the Des to charge and fire.

Grendal sat on the chair of the bridge of the carrier as he watched the slurter go on, he looked down into his hands.why did we have to do this, this is not normal murder is such a scale over 5 million people...this si going to enrage the Coreworlds people he thought. This was far from a normal war it was as if the emperess wanted to call them out, and now it was time.
"hold them off from the D we need to kill this planet off" he ordered, looking down as he sead them words.

Konoha-

The laser cannons initial wave splintered into the ST formation, downing eight fighters in an instant. These humans, however, were not the only ones with tricks. The 72 remaining fighters began open engagement of the ghost-like enemy, each phasing in and out of reality to avoid enemy fire, and to return fire with their ECF and neutron beam armaments. The battlefield became a blur of movement, fighters from both nations only becoming visible for a second before disappearing. To a spectator it would be unclear who was actually winning. Shadow Tech sensors did report that they outnumbered the enemy.

Corusca-

The small task force saw that they had a choice: shoot the Liberty with their torpedoes, or destroy the Des. The lieutenant commander in charge of the frigate decided that the fighters and gunships will go after the destroyer and the frigate will try to destroy the Des. So the fighters and gunships lined up for attack runs and either shot volleys of torpedoes or peppered the hull with laser blasts, hoping to destroy the destroyer.

The 300m frigate continued to attack the other ships, supposedly abandoning common sense, but sending most of it's firepower towards the Des. With each shot by the enemy, the Watergate came closer to destruction.

Abotu 2 million people survived the nukes, seeing as they were scattered across the planet in large farms or small towns, but the winds of the explosions still caused heavy damage.

Konoha-

The fighters duked it out for a while, but it was clear that the numbers of the enemy Ghosts began to decimate the squadrons. The fighters fled, towards a prestaged location...

Corusca-

"ohh shit" the Captain Screamed on the DESC Echo, as the Falling destroyers core was ruptured by the CW ships fire. a massive shockwave emited from the Fusion Reactors damageing the Echo and the Des, but it was to late the Des. fired.
The Liberty opened fire with its grav gun on the Frigate, ripeing a large chunk out of the front. A brave fighter wing did fly bys at the bridge section of the Frigate droping anti matter bombs on the ship, trying to get rid of its shields it took just over 30 mins of brutal combat to take down the Frigate but in the end it worked, even escape pods were destroyed as the frigate broke apart.
The Des. opened fire destroying the world slowly draining all water in all life and anything that wasnt killed was destroyed by the bombardment from the rest of the ships, after a few hours the planet was turned into a nuclear waste land. nothing was left alive, tho 6 fighters manage to escape to tell the story off the butchering of Corusca and how the Dark empire left no man, women or chield alive.

The Emperor became furious as the reports of what Corpsac has done to Corusca landed on his desk. "Empress, you will be punished for this. Mark my words."

He gave orders for the fleet to attack Corpsac military and interests in retaliation.

A fleet of 3 ISDs popped in to a shipyard and let loose a volley of turbolasers and missiles at the enemy there, then left the area with light to medium damage.

Another fleet slagged a supply depot and fought a Corpsac fleet.

A single Impstar used former ally maps to find and destroy a military academy. (we can RP this)

And a fleet of 2 ISDs went to exact revenge on Corusca's killers and jumped insystem. An Interdictor cruiser came in to power up it's FTLi.

When he spoke, it was slowly and with every word holding deep meaning.
"It has come to my attention that our allies in the Alpha Quadrant have run into some...unpleasantness. After the stalemate at Normandeich, our people are doubting our ability to wage war."
He raised his right pinky, and displays clicked on around the convocation.
"As you can see, some nasty business has occurred on the world of Gantris IV. Our...acquaintances...the United Federation of Planets, have razed the world and the innocents that inhabited it. As such, the empires of CorpSac, Shadow Tech, and Aurenumberg have begun or are about to begin military operations. We shall not allow our allies to fight this battle alone. I am about to do something that has not been done since my great-great grandfather's reign over two and a half centuries ago. I am issuing a proclomation of war on the UFP, as long as our allies are engaged in combat. Already, covert operations - funded by the government and other outside sources - are being carried out against The Federal Union's supply lines. Soon direct military force shall be applied to their flank. Already, the fleet's flagship - the FSS Neodammerung - is going through final pre-flight preparations. Our orbital platforms surrounding Feazanthia Prime and the provincial capitol of Tarsonis have been activated and are on high alert. Prepare your regions for battle. That is all."

Konoha, CoreWorld Space

With nearly 62 Ghost Makers remaining, they were advised to follow the fleeing fighters. STAS (Shadow Tech Apparition Swarm HQ) did acknowledge that this was a CoreWorlds colony and, expecting more resistance than a few fighters, sent the remainder of the attack group in, though they hadn't entered truespace yet. The neutron beams still poured out of the medium sized group towards the fleeing ships, but expectations of impact with the agile enemy fighters were not high. With both sides mustering their forces, it would not be long now, till blood was on the hands of Prime.

Meanwhile, word had come to STAS of possible Arenumberg and Feazanthia involvement in the war. News had also reached them of probable Corpsac engagements with CoreWorlds.

At a beeping signal on a secure frequency, all the fighters split above or below the enemy, and entering the path of the fighters was a giant off-white behemoth! The Firewraith fleet has arrived, and the trap has sprung, turbolasers blazing towards the direction of the enemy fighters. X-wings and A-wing fighters poured out of the hangar bays, ready to fight.

OOC: This could get verrrrry complicated, im in the UFP aswell, so by declaring war on the UFP you declare war on me and thus on yourself indirectly.. um yeah.. lol, but everything will fall into place, soon.

Konoha, CoreWorld Space

In a green flash the sixteen lead fighters were incinerated by the turbolaser barrage. Two more slammed into the shielding of the lead ISD, their existance reduced to a slight suicide attack.


Pandoran Tritox Maneuver initiated
The remaining fighters phased out of existance in the blink of an eye, phasing back into reality moments later. However, this time, something was different. Three hundred more fighters had joined the fray, ECF and neutron beams charged. The 345 psychic pilots had been trained their entire lives for this and they performed well. In perfect synchronization they split up into groups of 5, swarming the enemy ships like a swarm of ancient terran bees. Thier target: The fighters and gunships, nearly ignoring the Star Destroyers at first. It seemed that the heavy turbolasers of the main ships weren't becoming as effective as had STAS previously feared, mainly because of the lack of large objects to target. They had yet to see how well CoreWorld pdf systems faired.
STAS deployed almost half of the nearby Wither Armada to the planet, in case prolonged combat was required.

The point defense systems of the ISDs worked hard to help the fighters. Light turbolasers, laser cannons, and torpedoes filled the black space between them and the enemy fighters.

The Imperial fighters were not having an easy time of the battle, since the enemy pilots are good and psychic. The Jedi and Force-sensitive pilots helped out, but they were sorely outnumbered by the enemy. The gunships fared a bit better, mainly due to their anti-fighter manuverability and slightly stronger shields, armor and weapons.

Out of the 17 squadrons of X-wings, about an eighth were destroyed in the battle so far. Proportionally, fewer A-wings (10 squadrons) were destroyed, but only by virtue of being fast and agile.

Now it was time to unleash the third fighter type, the E-wings. About 7 squadrons were launched to aid their brethren, the heavy fighters almost like X-wings in maneuverability and B-wings in firepower and survivability.

It was then that the FSS Neodammerung appeared behind and below the Coreworlds fleet, followed by a trio of Citizen-class dreadnoughts. They wasted no time, almost as if they knew what they were doing. Light collected on the prow of the massive Feazanthian flagship, and fired as the terrifying Yamato cannon. One teraton of destructive force, caused by the reaction of hydrogen gas and fifty tons of antimatter deep within the dark recesses of the vessel, fired out in a monstorous pulse at the nearest Coreworlds star destroyer. The Citizens turned their broadsides to the Coreworlds ships, firing volley after volley of one hundred kilogram shells at half the speed of light. More Feazanthian vessels emerged afterwards. It seemd like an entire assault fleet had arrived.

The ventral shields of the Hellfire held against the teraton blast (heavy turbolasers are 2 TT and an ISD can survive several volleys of them :p ), and it banked and yawed low to send it's own blasts of similar, but green, energy back to the Neodammerung in the form of 8 heavy turbolaser cannons on the top and bottom.

The two Victories and the Jaguar, sensing a challenge, set upon the Citizen dreadnoughts like Terran wolves, tearing at them with their own turbolaser batteries.

The fighters continued to fight Shadow Tech's fleet.

The shells fazed the shields a bit, but it was more like a tickle. (dunno what's the warhead)

At White Wolf Castle in Wolf Falls, Texas….

Three Shinobi-class cruisers remained cloaked in the battle. They are waiting for the right time to strike against the newcomer fleet. They have not yet attacked, nor have they been detected so far, but once they attack, they will be detected. Their railguns (20mm for antifighter, size of a MK 48 sea-torp for capships but filled with tungsten) and turbolasers are ready to fire.

Konoha, CoreWorld Space

Konoha space was a flurry of action. CoreWorld and Shadow Tech fighters engulfed the battlefield, their dogfights the main point of interest. 28 more Ghost Makers had fallen to enemy fighters and pdfs, the remains of their lifeless hulls floating through space in every direction.
In a drastic change of tactics, STAS ordered the last 100 reserve Ghost Makers into action. They were ordered to target one thing, and one thing alone, the lead ISDs. The large group swooped down upon their target and, now that the attack group had sufficient data on the position of CoreWorld shields, began to pour rarely used Electron Flux Whip fire into ISD shielding.
They needed to destroy an ISD to lower enemy morale, but could it be done?

Meanwhile the main attack group was having increasing difficulty with enemy fighters. Though they specialized in fighter-on-fighter combat, the enemies recently deployed E-wings were striving in that role as well. 17 out of the 28 fighters being downed by E-wings alone.

It was then that the large Feazanthia ships appeared, totally unexpected.
"Finally some help" said Admiral Sevaris, in command of the battle and yet very far away. Opening a comlink to the largest ship she said, "Good to have you hear, my friends. If you could, we desperately need more firepower concentrated on their larger ships, as it is taking forever for our fighters to pierce their shielding."
The Feazanthia ships spent no time in coming to the aid of the fighters. Now, with the support of more anti-capital ship weapons, we might just have a chance in this battle.

The recently deployed combat group was still heading towards Konoha at full speed, but would not arrive for a long time.
Also, the ST deployment zone detected and destroyed a probe from an unknown source and decided to retreat back to a different staging point.
The Wither and its 1,300 fighters were of no threat to Konoha now.

OoC-The first volley were Shredder rounds, with a ferrous core and an outer layer of tungsten carbide that splinters on impact. Each of the 'splinters' carries the original round's momentum, spacing the impact over a far larger area. The second volley were depleted uranium shells. Both weigh about 100 kg.

The Dreadnoughts, who's numbers had been increased to five, turned their fire on the pair of Victory star destroyers. The magnetic accelerator cannons swapped to penetrator rounds - the diamond rounds with steel cores designed to core a ship - and fired another volley, two dreadnoughts unleashing a full broadside on each of the Victories. The fifth dreadnought focused its broadside of heavy rounds at the Hellfire. Fifteen Endeavor-class destroyers turned their own broadsides to the Jaguar, their specially designed triple-shot MACs firing tons of high-speed death. Those rounds were followed by a brace of Thundercloud heavy ZPE torpedoes. Light began gathering on the prow of the Neodammerung, this time far more intense than before.


Admiral Rachel Michaels opened a channel to Admiral Sevaris.
"Admiral, we are more than happy to oblige. Just keep those fighters off our backs."

Fourteen oddly-shaped vessels came in behind the Neodammerung, looking like platforms mounted atop massive cylinders. Light gathered in the cylinders' openings...

Feazanthian-Coredian Battle:

The Battle Raged in space, in space, sound does not travel, but the sounds of this battle were vivid to anyone who could see it.

The SSVA Muransk glided through the etherealness of the realm of Wormspace, expanding on the previous technology of wormholes from place to place, the new technology pulled the ship into a unknown dimension, and allowed it to exit anywhere and would arrive at its new destination approximately 2.34768 Seconds after it had left its previous.

The Muransk was a Manticore Dreadnaught, only 6 of these ships existed, and for a reason, they were large imposing vessels, and packed more firepower than a small fleet.

The Muransk slipped into realspace, a few kilometres from the battle, its scanners assessed the situation, its weapons and shields charged, and its engines burst to life.

A Transmission on all frequencies eminated from the Vessel..

"All Vessels engaged in combat, Cease immeaditly, by order of the High Commissar we are here to end this battle, if you will not comply, we will destroy you all."

As if on cue, 3 Casena Class Dreadnaughts, 2 Yamato Carriers and a Endurance Battleship materialised, followed shortly by 4 Akinta Class Destroyers and 3 Saxony class cruisers, they sped up, and advanced.

The ISDs, the Konoha fleet and the fighters had no choice but to carve a microjump path out of there. We cannot fight three fleets at once!

Each one of the seven ships did not come out of the battle unscathed, and they returned to realspace several light-minutes away to assess the damage. The Firewraith itself was holed when the forward particle shields fell to the projectile rounds from the enemy.

They called for reinforcements, and sent a message to Arenumberg's fleet. "How dare you stop our fight! We were trying to survive here! When you came in we believed that reinforcements have come, but noooo."

The Elite Star Destroyer Tyrannosaur is on it's way with a fresh fleet of 15 capships, 6 of them antistarfighter cruisers: Lancers.

No reply was sent to the Coredian Fleet.

The reinforcements has arrived, and the Firewraith fleet ships has finished licking their wounds. They tentively head back to the battle zone, but are wary of the enemy.

The Quasar frigates were the first to fire their ordinance, a hundred of the Thundercloud heavy torpedoes flying from their launch bays. As yet another volley of MAC rounds fired from the Citizen and Endeavor broadsides, the Yamato cannons aboard the artillery ships and the Neodammerung surged with horrific destructive power and lanced out at the Firewraith, roughly fifteen teratons of energy.

1st Rear Admiral Thethys glared at the screen, they just couldnt help themselves, the rest of the taskforce arrived, doubling the amount of ships present.

"This is your final warning, cease all combat or prepare to be destroyed, if any individual captains wish to be spared, their ships must join our lines now."

The Taskforce fell into formation, targetted the "Lead" Vessels of the Feazanthian fleet, Coredian fleet, and Wolf American Fleet, and fired one concentrated blast at each of them.

"This is your last warning" Thethys trasmitted, before seating himself.

The Firewraith blew apart, as it didn't expect the double strikes, thinking that peace might be restored.

"See what you have done, Arenumberg fleet?" The Tyrannosaur captain said. "If you hadn't stopped us, the Firewraith wouldn't have been killed! We'll join your line, but don't expect any help from us if you come crying to us!"

Just as the 1,000 fighter strong battle group entered combat range, the enemy was gone. However, they had not left in fear of ST fighters.

A comlink was opened to Arenumberg.
"This is Admiral Sevaris of Shadow Tech Prime. We demand to know why you plan on stopping this conflict, as we have already invested many ST lives and ships to the cause. We take this as a direct insult towards our nation and have deployed a Wither battlegroup to the area. Know that these ships come not to engage you, but to ensure that our pilots' sacrifices were not in vain. The war will continue, with or without your approval. Hopefully we need not bring this before the ESUS courts."
The comlink was ended, followed by all 1,366 fighters each charging their Electron Flux Whips in an intimidation tactic. It would apear that a solid wall of blue light shown from the ST battlegroup.

Feazanthian ships had already begun opening fire when ST sensors picked up the returning CoreWorld fleet along with a Wolf American fleet.

STAS also opened a comlink to the Feazanthia flagship.
"This is Sevaris. What stance are you going to take on this recent development? Are we to engage as well?"

Not long after the agrivating standoff at Konoha, the ST fighter battlegroup entered truespace at it's new target, Danto. Though this small mining colony was of little importance to the war effort, it would show CoreWorld allies that this war would not be fought in the distances of space, it would be fought at the doorsteps of empires.

With the fury of the stars the battlegroup descended on the colony, 1,366 fighters each releasing their charged neutron beams before charging EFWs for close range combat.
They would destroy all resistance, but would not target unarmed ships with civilians or escape pods.

The Wither battlegroup was still heading towards Konoha, though it would still not arrive for a while.

The small wormholes opened and flung the entirety of the Feazanthian fleet into the Slipstream, following the ST fleet at faster than the speed of light.

A single Star Destroyer (Quiver) and her escorts (fighters and 4 gunships) was all that stood between the fighters and the mining colony. Unfortunately, her communications was down for maintainence, so she couldn't call for help, not easily, anyway.

Captain Serena Chadre knew that the numbers is quite likely against her, but she ordered her fighters, assault gunboats (6), gunships and her own weapons to launch and fire at will. She warned the colony by dispatching a shuttle to the governor, who began to order an evacuation. Several hundred people managed to overcrowd ships and escape, but that left another 8,000 without a way to escape. They had no choice but to man what antifighter defense they have, laser cannons pointing into the sky.

The Feazanthian heavy assault fleet then winked in, exiting the Slipstream with weapons already hot.

"Report!"
"Sir! Shadow Tech fighters are engaging what appears to be a few squadrons, a quartet of gunboats, and one cruiser. The cruiser appears to be under maintenance."
"Excellent. Quite excellent. Order the main guns into positon. Give me manual control, I'll kill this thing myself."

The Neodammerung accelerated ahead of the task force and opened up with all ninety of its three ton magnetic accelerator cannons and heavy plasma cannons.

A few fighters had fallen to the enemy but most remained vigilante. The 1,346 fighters were mostly targeting the Star Destroyer, but a task force of 100 were dispatched for a special mission. In four groups of 25, they faded out of existance and back in, each group of 25 entering directly into each of the 4 gunships before detonating, their lives sacrificed for the good of the collective. The rest of the fighters charged their EFWs and at close range began pummeling the ISD shielding. Logic stated that the shields would not hold much longer agaisnt such numerous firepower.

The Feazanthian Flagship entered Danto space as well, spewing deadly plasma and projectiles towards the colony and CoreWorld fleet.
"Sevaris here. Make a point not to target civilian vessels or escape pods. We don't want a war of justice on our hands. Sevaris out."

Thethys Smiled, The Coredian and Wolf American fleet did obviously not understand that you cant send secure messages through other nations ships.

The Emperor took notice, and wondered what's going to happen next.

"Leave a pair of Progenitors here. The Artemis and the Mann will do nicely. The rest of you, hightail it back to Konoha at best speed."

The Artemis and the Mann began a high-level orbit over the world, broadcasting that all citizens who complied with the Feazanthian "liberators" would be favored and all those who resisted would be destroyed. Their heavy plasma accelerator cannons were kept trained on the population centers, ready to fire with pinpoint accuracy if any ground fire came up.

The rest of the fleet entered the Slipstream, and reappeared back in the Konoha system at the Aurenumberg fleet's flank just in time to hear the last transmission.

"This is Admiral Michaels of Feazanthian ship Neodammerung. Exemplary as the empire's service in past wars has been, it does not excuse them for the atroscity of Gantriz IV."

all was quiet when 2 Stigmata vessals apeared, the Anlashoc and the Freedom. still phased cloaked outside the system they watched and waited.

"Shall we start the attack, we could take them easy the Coredians vessals are only a slight match for us" the first voice sead

2 to monsters of ships moved slowly towards the Coredian vessals, the liveing ships made any Telepath fall to the floor with the screams it made.
Then each of them let lose 15 drone fighters each, they moved with such speeds and manuvering that no human could be piloting them (well theres no one piloting them, since the drones are alive..and linked to the Spider they came from.") as they swarmed towards the Coredians.
This was the first time Stigmata vessals had been used in open combat and full view, tho it was hard to see the spiders since they were pure black and the skin seemed to shimmer.

The 3 Shinobi Cruisers, kept quiet until now, lept into action. Still cloaked, they moved for their counterparts, the Stigmata ships and opened fire with their railcannons (turbolasers makes 'em drop cloaks momentarily due to the power required). They stopped firing after five seconds and moved closer and at an angle and fired again. In this way, they kept the enemy from seeing them, too much, anyway.

The Ninja fighters, although they were harmed by the psychic screams, they used their own ninja spells to block or reduce the screams and then set upon the spider-fighters. Using the spell Kage Bunshin no Jutsu, they momentarily increased their numbers for the attack, although one hit and the shadow clone fighters disappear. They managed to match the Spiders' speed and agility, for they were ninjas and not ordinary fighter pilots.

Many Dantonese decided that the best course of action would be to follow along with the Feazanthian fleet, and secretly hoped that the Imperial Fleet would free them soon. So they welcomed them with open arms and 'sharpened their knives behind their backs' so to speak.

One of the Feazanthian captains panicked at the sight of two different groups of ships engaging just off his port bow, and ordered a mass broadside. The Citizens and Endeavors opened up, filling the space containing the Shinobi and Stigmata vessels with their massive MAC rounds and fusion torpedoes.

The Shinobis were forced to drop their cloaks and raise their shields when a lucky MAC round hit them. Now it was time for the turbolasers. The fleet, angry at the assault, opened fire on the Feazanthians, no longer caring whether Arenumberg attacks or not. If she wants a war, she'll get one!

The Drones where enraged by both Coreworld vessals and Feazanthia vessals, there speed incress even more so, opening fire at what ever got in there way, there smaller Grav weapons powered by Hyperspace it self was the only weapon it had but it could cut thought alot if it had to.
2 of the drones flew low across a Feazanthia vessal fireing randomly at the ship, then pulling up they may have been going fast but being in such a rage had one major problem.....they didnt stop and that made them weak since they repeated the same attack.

The Anlashoc was hit from the blast by the Feazanthia and coreworld vessals, one of the tips on the long legs was torn off, and a substance like blood poured out of it.
It turned towards the Feazanthia ship that had fired, powering its much larger and more powerful Grav beam cannon. Fireing at the ship, the telepath screams seemed to get louder as the ships were hit.

Freedom Targeted the largest Coreworld vessal, tho the Freedom wasnt as powerful as the Anlashoc being only 250 years old it was still a powerful ship. opening fire with its Grav beam cannon and incressing its speeds, fireing repeated shots at mutiply locations.

5 Drones broke off and also attack the ship the freedom was targeting, but they were not as angery as the ones that were attacking Feaz ships and so there attacks were more random but still extreamly fast.

"Helm, power up the engines! Get close to the enemy! They won't risk firing those teraton weapons...*an ISD blew apart under the onslaught*...if they have to attack their own ships!"

This was called the Calrissian Maneuver, after the man who invented it. It called for a fleet to accelerate towards an enemy fleet, close enough to almost ram them at times, and engage at point-blank range. The Jedi use a similar method when outnumbered to use the enemy's numbers and size against them, like a tai-chi move. So the Imperial Fleet accelerates towards the Feazanthian fleet, beginning to use the size and numbers against them. Star Destroyers traded broadsides with the battlecruiser, battleships, and the Tyrannosaur fought the flagship, one flagship against another. Turbolasers, ion cannons, proton torpedoes, and concussion missiles crisscrossed the skies with the MACs, plasma weapons and fusion torpedos, spilling a lot of blood whereever they hit.

The Shinobi Cruisers and 3 Star Destroyers, plus their fighter squadrons, continued to fight this new enemy. The Star Destroyers concentrated firepower on the Freedom, one getting seriously damaged while the Shinobis took on the the other ship together.

All across the sky, fighters fought whoever they fought in a mad free-for-all that seemed impossible to tangle out. The Lancer strike cruisers and the gunships had a great time of racking up enemy fighter kills, as they were designed to fight the small ships, though a few did fall to the larger enemy fire.

In the meantime, one large (1.5 km) cloaked Konoha ship continues to monitor events, the flagship Hokage. Commanded by old Naruto himself, the flagship of the Konoha Navy readied it's Shuriken Cannon, something that is boasted to throw small asteroids at near c speeds. It's an experimental weapon, so this is basically a field test.

"Is the asteroid ready?" The white-haired man asked his shinobi. The asteroid in question is about 5 meters in size and took tractor beams to move around and load.

"Yes. We have only one shot at this, then we must use our regular weapons."

The WASF Wolf Falls, a Casena Class Dreadnaught, opens fire at the Neodammerung with it 340 Particle Cannons, 24 Ion Mounts, 6 Project Casena Battle-Guns, 80 Turbo-Laser Batteries (3 TB Per Battery), 5 AMSP Missile Launchers, 24 Hornet Homing Missile Launchers, and 2 Poseidon Torpedo Launchers. 100 Missles, torpedos, and laser.

The 386SF Mad Max & 386SF Shut Up fire their Tactical Warp Cannons (One on each ship) at the Neodammerung plus the part of it arsenal. 6 Guass Laser Cannons. 8 Heavy Torpedo Tubes (compatable with all sub-munitions), 40 light Guass cannons, 34 Med torpedo tubes, 50 Burst cannons, and 120 Light laser batteries.

The warheads had to be transported via the Wither, as they could not phase out of truespace with the rest of the fighter. In a matter of minutes thousands of large antimatter torpedos would be streaming towards whatever ST considered a threat, along with 2,532 of the most advanced fighters known. The Wither will jump out as soon as it's task is completed.

Ghost Maker class fighters, now without the weight of the torpedos, glided towards the Bird of Preys. They would eliminate those not destroyed by the torpedos.

The four Bird of Preys in the front are destroyed by antimatter torpedos. The second four Bird of Preys sheild are at 50% & no engine and the other Bird of Preys open fire on the Wither.

Plus the 144 B-Wing Heavy Assault Starfighters attack the ST fighters for behind.

"Excellent." Naruto hissed as the new ship appeared and attacked Wolf's ships and fighters. "We attack that one. and send out our B-wings and E-wings at once."

"Yes, sensei." The ninjas bowed and got to work. They pressed buttons and pulled levers as they were trained.

The asteroid was pulled along the spine of the ship via magnetics, since it has an iron/nickel core. It accelerated faster and faster as it sped through the ship.

Finally, it shot, the power having forced the Hokage's cloak to drop and it's shields to raise. Then, a wing of mixed B-wings and E-wings launched from the hangar to aid their Wolf allies attacking the fighters. The asteroid was on track for the Wither Dreadship aiming for the bridge.

"Whoo hoo! .75c! That's a record!" The Hokage shouted, like he was the spunky 12-year-old again. "Close in on the ship and open fire!"

"Yes sir!"

The large flagship closed in on the Wither, firing it's turbolasers and railcannons once in range.

18 fighters were downed before a turn in the battle occured.
The Asteroid slammed into the right prong of the huge ship, takeing out almost half of the ships pdfs.
"Admiral, evacuate the dreadship, and see if you can take that Bird of Prey with it. There is no chance of the Wither surviveing this battle if she stays.
The huge Dreadship dropped its FTLi and exited truespace, hopefully along with the Bird of Prey they had tractored in. The fighters also exited truespace but they, however, would be back shortly.

The Hokage made a jump into hyperspace for an asteroid field. There, it was decided that there was enough room for five asteroids the same size as the first. The flagship, now loaded for bear, returned to the battle, and made firing solutions for the asteroids.

"So the they fight..." The Admiral said to his crew, as the task force reversed and reformed away from the bickering species before them.

"We must show that we will not be ignored, Target any important vessel on each Fleet, disable them, and pull them within the Sphere with the "Tractors", activate all FTLi" The Rear Admiral's orders were obeyed, and another flurry of shots joined the carnage.

18 fighters were downed before a turn in the battle occured.
The Asteroid slammed into the right prong of the huge ship, takeing out almost half of the ships pdfs.
"Admiral, evacuate the dreadship, and see if you can take that Bird of Prey with it. There is no chance of the Wither surviveing this battle if she stays.
The huge Dreadship dropped its FTLi and exited truespace, hopefully along with the Bird of Prey they had tractored in. The fighters also exited truespace but they, however, would be back shortly.

The plasma beams managed to seperate it into six seperate parts, which were thrown off course by hundreds of simultaneously-fired phaser turrets. The massive flagship then turned its prow to the Tyrannosaur. Light gathered and formed into a Yamato burst.

The beam fired with only a few hundred meters between the two vessels. Shields on the Neodammerung flared and redirected to protect the prow from the resulting energy.

A pair of Endeavor destroyers and a Progenitor battlecruiser intercepted the inbound Wolf America vessels. The Endeavors fired their T-MAC broadsides from long range as the battlecruiser closed and opened up with its turbolasers and plasma accelerator beams. A pair of full squadrons of interceptors (200 fighters) descended upon the B-Wings and E-Wings. The artillery vessels continued to course power through their reverse engines, opening up another 13 terraton commutative blast at the Green Ace.

A call for reinforcements was sent out. Nearly instantly, the 3rd Strike Squadron appeared on the outskirts of the system. The new arrival of twenty-three Ortega cruisers charged their light Yamato cannons - each one with a maximum output of 35 gigatons - and opened fire on the Green Ace as the 42 Centaurs let loose volley after volley of torpedoes.

I read it and you didn't say anything about the Neodammerung. Just its sheilds are at 70% - 80%.

The Torpedoes exploded all over different shield sectors, some shrapnel and forces of the explosions bedning and twisting the hull of the Muransk, whilst the enemies beams and such glanced off the second layer of shielding, occasionaly a beam cutting its way through and grazing the side of the hull.

The Taskforce targetted the bombers, firing a few times, before re-targetting other ships and firing one volley before they disappeared, they had jumped.

"Crap! That thing is harder to defeat than I thought!" Naruto growled. "Have the Shinobi Cruisers form up on me and we'll attack it together. Advise the rest of the Core fleet to concentrate their heavy turbolasers on the flagship!"

As the majority of the fleet maneuvered to bring their heaviest weapons to bear, the Tyrannosaur took the blow head-on, forcing the reactor to go critical. The dying commander ordered the flaming ship to ram the Neodammerung as escape pods streamed away and tried not to die to one of many ways.

Command of the fleet was given to the Haymaker, currently blasting away at a Feaz battlecruiser. It's damage was moderate, but the crew ran around to make repairs even as the ship poured turbolaser bolts into the side of the battlecruiser.

The Neodammerung's ventral thrusters fired at full force, and ventral fighterbays decompressed explosively to hurl the massive juggernought out of the way. The star destroyer still bored into the port 'wing', tearing it and all its weapons away and sending them spinning into the void. Micheal's gripped her command couch like a woman posessed as the warp field flickered and the ship's armor began to crush the very ship holding it up.
"DIVERT...ALL...POWER...TO STRUCTURAL...INTEGRITY FIELD! DEFENSIVE...PATTERN...OMEGA...ONE!"
The engine pylons on the Citizens flared and took up a phanlax position around the wounded flagship. Two full broadsides of MACs were fired at the Green Ace, and several hundred Thunderbolt torpedoes were launched from the newly-arrived torpedo vessels at the Green Heart. A pair of bomber wings were redirected to the aforementioned Heart, dispatching their Thundercloud torpedoes and blasting away with particle beams and plasma repeators.

A quartet of Fenris Wolf "boomers" came out of a nearby moon's shadow, their torpedo bays already open. Only...there weren't any torpedoes in them. Instead, larger purplish pods that seemed to shimmer oddly in the lights of the battle deployed. Tiny thrusters ignited, and sped the pods towards the weakest section of the Haymaker. Cutting lasers speared the shield, disrupting it just long enough for most of the 192 boarding pods to make it through. Inside each pod was a pair of elite marines in IMC-730 "Spartan" battle armor.

It was then that the Tyrannosaur's reactor detonated as it rammed into the Feazanthian flagship, roaring one last time like it's prehistoric namesake before dying.

Naruto said a prayer for the captain before concentrating on the other ships.

"Repel boarders!" The Haymaker's captain ordered even as point-blank laser cannons blasted away at the pods and remaining turbolasers attacked the "boomers". The Space Marine corp (men & women with power armor and pulse blaster rifles) set up ambush points at the breach and as the first elite marine stepped in, a hail of blaster bolts shot at him and the next few enemies that came in.

The ventral plates of the Feazanthian flagship crumpled and imploded under the energy of the exploding reactor, and the Neodammerung flew wildly out of control. Its shields flickered and failed as the massive ship-of-the-line rammed a Citizen dreadnought that got too close, splitting the dreadnought in half.
"ALL HANDS! PREPARE...FOR...SLIPSPACE!"
A rift opened and swallowed the Neodammerung, hurling her and the venerable Admiral back to Feazanthian space. Command was transferred to the FSS Allison, one of the remaining Citizen dreadnoughts. Her captain, a Captain Robert Mendoza, ordered all vessels to make a tactical Slipstream jump into a defensive position behind one of the moons.

The first marine fell even as the two behind them activated their energy shielding. A hail of plasma rifle bolts answered the blasters, which were bouncing every which way of the energy shields. One of the marines - an immense Teropta lizard, hurled a trio of fragmentation grenades into the swarm of defenders. A Shadri warrior in blue Spartan armor roared a challenge and activated a plasma sword (http://halo.bungie.org/guns/cov.energyblade.jpg) as she charged into the fray, her sword deflecting the blasts that her shields didn't absorb. She swung a swath with her blade across a group of defenders and opened up with her plasma pistol in her other hand.

As the marines that made it on fired and repelled the defenders, a pair of marines began setting up an odd device. It hummed and clicked, and then began emitting a strange sort of signal...

"Energy shields!" One marine snarled before a plasma bolt caught him in the neck.

"Go to explosives! They must not get to the bridge!" A female sergeant ordered.

Thermal detonators were thrown at the enemy boarders, vaporizing eveything within 5 meters in a tiny thermonuclear fusion reaction. Proton missiles launchers were set up and the missiles streamed at the giant lizard thing, even as the marines retreated deeper into the ship.

E-web heavy repeating blasters were being set up at the bridge itself, each one able to pour thousands of blaster bolts down any corridor in seconds, although the power supply and Tibanna gas wears out quickly.

"Looks like we're winning this battle." The commander of the Nighthawk commented as his ship blasted away at a couple of enemy frigates even as they retreated. "Send troops to the Haymaker! That ship needs our help!"

"Yes, sir!" The Star Destroyer rumbled over to the besieged ship, spilling marines that used small jets to get to the ship and the troops blasted away at the enemy, even as a couple of X-wings were called in to assist. Not even personal energy shields can protect from starfighter-grade weapons for long!

"Tactical, where did the enemy go?" Naruto asked.

"I don't know. Wait, ground control just picked up ships at Kurina!"

Kurina was the middle of three moons orbiting Konoha, a large, dead world that is half Luna's size.

"Very well. Pursue and destroy! There should be no Feazanthian presence anywhere near the Konoha System, understand?"

"Yes sir!"

The Hokage, her escorts, and remaining lightly damaged Star Destroyers began to pursue the enemy fleet, intent on finishing them off.

It was then that the cloaking fields around a pair of immense Typhoon transports deactivated. The kilometer long hulks were largely unarmed, but carried enough troops to take a small planetoid. The pride of the Feazanthian marines - the 405th "Blood Hawks" - began disappearing as rings of energy encircled them. They reappeared as the strange pillar aboard the Haymaker turned beat red. Hundreds of marines poured seemingly out of nowhere, the teleportation matrix secured.

Though the first Teropta soldier was cut down by the proton launchers, a pair of his bretheren leveled their fuel rod cannons and let loose with the burning artillery shells. Elite humans, Shadri, and Teropta swarmed over the Haymaker's defenders by sheer weight of numbers. Automatic .50 calliber guns were set up at breach points, blasting away at the X-Wings and thruster-equipped troops.

A quartet of Shadri warriors disengaged their energy blades and activated their active camoflauge. This light-bending technology allowed them to slip past several patrols of defenders with ease. Each Shadri carried with it a trio of emitters.

During a lull in the E-web fire - most likely do to a recharge or reload - mobile shield generators were set up. These were like massive personnel energy shields, and allowed the stealthed Shadri to set up their own plasma turrets to return fire on the E-web.

The Feazanthian fleet - on the other side of the moon Kurina - were ready. The broadsides of the Citizens and remaining Endeavors opened up as the torpedo and plasma frigates fired from relative safety. Flak frigates fired their shrapnel MAC rounds, designed to explode within a swarm of enemy fighters and split them apart. Even a pair of giant mobile S-MAC platforms had been deployed, firing their 30 ton slugs at nearly half the speed of light.

"--there is no choice! You have to destroy the ship!" The captain of the Haymaker ordered the Nighthawk's captain.

"But I will kill you, Richard, old boy." The other captain said sadly.

"Jonas. I am telling you as a friend, a comrade, a collegue. You must do it." Richard said fiercely.

Tears came to Jonas' face. They grew up together. "I will tell your sons that you died valiantly."

"Yes. Do what you must. Survive so that all our sons and daughters can live." Richard replied.

"Good bye, Richard. The Force be with you, always."

"And with you, Jonas." The communications ended for the last time as Richard ordered the ship engineers to rig the reactor to blow, to add to the power of the turbolasers.

"Fire upon the Haymaker!" Jonas ordered. "And someone remove those troop transports for me!"

The Nighthawk blasted upon the Haymaker with a broadside as B-wings and another Impstar takes out the transports. The turbolasers rip through the ship, causing secondary explosions as the engineers finish rigging the ship to blow in one minute. The crew then either take the last of the escape pods or fight madly for their captain, charging and shouting "For the Emperor!" in one final batle against the enemy. The captain fires coldly as the first enemy marines blow through the bridge, firing headshot after headshot with his sidearm blaster. "I will take you to Hell with me!" Was his last words.

The Hokage returned fire, throwing asteroids at the four largest ships they could see, also at near-c, before closing in with the turbolasers and railcannons. The rest of the fleet blasts away at the enemy remnant, trying to win this battle once and for all.

The young captain of a Progenitor battlecruiser, seeing the other Impstars closing in on the Haymaker, decided on a rather rash course of action. Splitting away from the rest of the taskforce without permission, the FSS Permiscuous jumped into Slipspace and reappeared between the Haymaker and the rest of the CoreWorlds fleet. The doomed battlecruiser opened up with everything it had, trying to draw fire from the beseiged destroyer. Its larger size provided an ample shield from the enemy turbolaser fire, though it wouldn't last long.

Corporal Perez held the butt of his MA5B Assault rifle to his shoulder and sprayed armor piercing bullets across the bridge crew as his fire team poured in. He dodged a blaster bolt by the skin of his teeth and ducked behind a console.
You know, they've activated the core overload, said the insertion AI within his armor.
"Thanks for the update."
This console happens to be active. If you upload me, I can most likely take the core implosion offline.
"Do it."
Perez felt the icy blast of mercury rescind from his mind as the AI downloaded itself into a data crystal, which popped from a neck socket in the Corporal's armor. Perez popped the crystal into a socket in the blood-smeared terminal, and the AI got to work.

Hmm...this ship's core design isn't too different from the Winter's. Shouldn't be too hard. There isn't even another construct in here!

One of the Citizens was split in two by a hurled asteroid before it could be split apart by plasma accelerator cannons. The S-MACs fired again and again, trying to destroy the enemy fleet. Yamato blasts flew every which way, targetting the shield generators atop the Impstars.

"Commander, ST forces have been forced to withdrawl and now that the tides are against you, we recommend you do the same so that we may regroup and strike together."

B-wings and E-wings found the new target a more impressive one, and pounced upon the battlecruiser like wolves after a moose, firing powerful anti-ship torpedoes and heavy laser cannons.

The Nighthawk continued to blast away at the Haymaker while several turbolasers targeted the battlecruisers as well. It drilled several broadsides into the battlecruiser and the Haymaker alike.

"Sir, AI hacking detected! They're trying to shut down the reactor!"

"Damn it! Are there any engineers still alive in the reactor room?"

"I think so."

"Tell them to overload the reactor manually!"

"Right away!" The officer ran down the 'neck' of the bridge and towards engineering. He fired at an enemy marine in his way, killing him, and then reached the engineering bay.

Other than the bridge, this is the last bastion of the Core Marines holed up in a tight spot.

"Captain says to overload the reactor manually." The lieutenant said to the chief surviving engineer.

The grizzled older man nodded curtly and began to bark orders to that effect. "Override all safety protocols! Force the containment shields to shut down! When you're done, I don't want to see you boys till the next life!"

Dark chuckling permeated the bay, as men ran around the nearby reactor room, trying to do the exact opposite of what they were trained to do in case of overload.

The reactor is a solar ionization reactor, basically a very advanced fusion plant. It is said to use more energy in a single hyperspace jump than most planetary civilizations. It is also said to be like a small star. When the reactor overloads, it will destroy the ship and damage anything else in the immediate area.

Autumn, the AI, began broadcasting over the speakers. Her voice was cool and somewhat metallic, but not without human qualities.
"Oh ho ho ho. What clever organics you are. Under different circumstances, I might grow to like you. Unfortunately, orders are orders. MARINES! ACTIVATE PRESSURE SEALS!"

Autumn opened every airlock on the Haymaker at once, causing explosive decompressions in every compartment. However, she concentrated the ship's artificial gravity in engineering and forced the air out at an accelerated rate. What few enemies were left, and a few of the slower Feazanthian marines, clutched their throats as their lungs collapsed. She then pumped coolant into the reactor as she redirected some of the ship's deflector shielding into the core to contain the reaction and keep it from overloading. This stalled the reaction just long enough for her to upload the ship's schematics to a Slipstream communique and sent that away. She then uploaded the nav coordinates of Tarsonis to the computer and activated the hyperdrive.

"There goes the star destroyer! EVERYONE, FALL BACK!"

Slipstream rifts opened everywhere around Kurina and swallowed the Feazanthian fleet. A parting broadside was all that was left for the CoreWorlds force.

"NO!" Jonas slammed a fist on his chair. The Star Destroyer was dragged away by the enemy, leaving the exposed remaining crew to die. "Damn it! Recover as many soldiers as you can! They should be able to last for a couple minutes!"

"Right away!"

Naruto looked over the battlefield. "Damn. At least we drove them away."

A victory for Konoha's forces. But there will be many more battles to come, the Emperor knew. He gathers his top commanders and the Defense secretary in the aptly named War Room, which has a hologram showing current positions of all allied and enemy forces in Core space, thanks to probe droids.

"As you can see, we have won a battle at Konoha, and lost Danto. 1-1. We need to figure out how to increase the odds for our own forces." Andrew said.

"Your Highness." Admiral Rommel said. "I do believe we can lose a few more colonies before we have to make a stand. Of course, we won't get them as far as here, but we can use a large colony as bait."

"I'd hate to do that, but go on."

"Yes sir. We go to Issus. Use powerful holoprojectors and such to conceal the true military capacity of that main planet (900 million) and lay a trap there. We will have to lure them and keep them there with our FTLi."

"A wise plan, but how do you plan to lure them there?"

"Overconfidence. We pretend to lose more than we win, and then use our counterintelligence officers to produce rumors of a powerful weapon or a large fleet being massed there. To make the pot even sweeter, we have members of the government 'check out' that weapon. Maybe..."

"Me?" Andrew smiled. "Very nice. Very nice. A target they will not refuse to attack. Kill me and my government, and morale will drop."

"That's the idea." the General of the Starfighter Corps said. "However, we cannot unleash this plan until later in the war."

"Very well." Andrew said. "Admiral, begin Stage 1: False Retreat. But do it slowly."

"Yes sir!"

Lt. Otemage: "We have a message for Captain Katherine Darkholme on the WASF Hulk.To High Commander Johnson, meet us at this location."
High Commander Johnson: "Ok. Send a message to the Coreworlds Fleet. Tell them we need to leave and meet up will United States' Fleet. An Alliance thing."
