I am the Ghargon of the New Ghargant Imperium, Gorbgan IV. I have assumed control of this interstellar empire as our ancient traditions dictate; by killing the previous Ghargon.
You may or may not have heard of the first Ghargant Imperium. It stretched for 11,000 lightyears at its peak, and lasted for millions of years. For a time, it was the most powerful force in the galaxy. However according to new information, this Imperium ceased to exist when an alien force known to my people as the 'Kree' swept through it, destroying everything.
My people have lived on Earth for the past two millennia. Our single driving force through each generation has been to take the Imperium. As the strongest Emperor, I led them to this goal. We shall not fail simply because there is no infrastructure. The New Ghargant Imperium shall be glorious once again. We announce this for we have no hostile intent. Given the destruction reaped upon our homeworld in our absence, we will need to rebuild most things from scratch -- we may be able to fit in embassies. Though we are xenophobic, we disagree with the Old Imperium's maxim of 'conquer all or none at all'. We recognise the importance of peace, and the necessity for diplomatic contact to achieve this peace.
We do not want handouts. Trade may be considered once we have something to trade -- we are currently working on re-establishing several old mining outposts, including a terralium mine. We would like information, however. The last Ghargon, the sole inhabitant of this world when we first arrived, spoke of a race called the 'Kree'. Their power made Imperium ships look weak, and they destroyed everything with no warning, no provocation, and did not even remain in their new 'territory'. The Imperium was laid to waste on a whim, for no reason. For this, the Kree must be destroyed. Any information on the Kree will be especially appreciated.
