Premier Chiisu Suun gestured for quiet as he took up position at the podium for the latest official declaration from the NeoSuunist government. He looked around with a confident smirk before speaking.

"My people..."

A sudden roar of cheers erupted, causing him to ask for quiet again.

"My people, I come before you with glorious news! After detailed negotiations with Marimaia's closest friends, I can now announce to you something which brings great joy to my heart. It is time for Asia to sit up and take notice! Across this continent, there are nations which have undertaken the road of revolution, revolution which has led to their stability and subsequent superiority over those nations which just sit back complacently and let things stagnate. It is time for those nations to join together and say with one voice that we will not be brought down by reactionaries or traditionalists!"

"Therefore...it is time for the Shining Sphere of Revolutionary Co-Prosperity. The SSRC will be a beautiful sun, blazing enlightenment into the lives and nations of the Asian people. Only those brave enough to reshape their societies have the right to join, as only they will understand the hardship and tenacity necessary to bring about total prosperity."

"The SSRC will be vigorous, tenacious, and at all times benevolent. We shall cooperate with nations seeking to restructure themselves by sharing our wisdom on the revolutionary way. We shall resolve disputes through diplomacy and discussion; we will work with the rest of Asia to end poverty and injustice. Although it is not our main focus, we shall assist revolutionary nations elsewhere in the world, and they will be permitted to apply for membership in the Shining Sphere. May this mark the birth of a new era, an era of greatness, of enlightenment, and of prosperity!"

The audience stood and gave Suun a rousing ovation as he soaked up their admiration before turning on his heel and striding off the stage.

For quite a while now, I've been discussing the creation of an alternative Asian bloc with several nations, all of whom will probably turn up here soon. Although the main focus is Asian revolutionary nations, any nation which has undergone social/political restructuring can apply. If your nation doesn't really fit that description, you can still align yourself with the SSRC as an 'Aligned Nation'; you won't get the same love and respect that core members do, but the SSRC will assist you should you require it (and no that doesn't mean that 'Aligned Nations' can go off on conquering sprees with our support, because in that situation we'd probably smack you around for bringing our name into disrepute; unless it's after proven national territory, in which case we'd consider it).

The great video screens at Seoul, Pyongyang, Kanggye, and upon the face of the Central Directorature at Da'Khiem all buzzed and flickered alight. Public address systems whistled, popped, and called attention to the displays. Comrade Director Secretary Hotan appeared to address his countryfolk.

The Choson People's Republic was officially announced as party to what was in Drapoel terms an unprecidented treaty, the Shining Sphere of Revolutionary Co-prosperity! Comrades were encouraged by the changing of the tides in favour of the revolution. The freeing of another part of Korea and of Myanmar were now set in a frame of international co-operation, and progress would finally be stabilised as part of an inspirational shining sphere.

"Let the paper tigers know..."

President Strain of Spyr stood upon a balcony of the Presidential Tower, overlooking the vast expanse of the Revolutionary Plaza, in which thousands of cheering people had gathered to hear the latest pronouncements from their great leader.

"People of Spyr... members of the glorious Strainist revolution... I come before you today to announce a great revolutionary triumph!"

The President paused, until a loud wave of cheers had subsided.

"It is a great time for our most noble cause... our moral mission to uplift the Universality. We have been given an opportunity to sit in conclave with those nations who share our revolutionary spirit, who seek to unite and uplift their peoples towards prosperity and greatness.

Together with these, our revolutionary comrades, we may experience the security to prosper, and the dedication to transmit the glorious revolutionary message to those who are enslaved by the forces of imperialsm and counter-revolution.

Our membership in the Shining Sphere of Revolutionary Co-Prosperity shall lead to a new age of peace and hope, not only for ourselves, but for all the peoples of the Universality."

The streets of Mioka-ro fall silent as the loudspeakers shout out the latest news from the outside world.

"People of the Socialist Federal Dominion, you have the glory of being the first Yamani to hear this historical announcement! Our nation, along with Spyr and other glorious elder brother nations, has entered into a compact for the good of the revolution. We are now a member state of the Shining Sphere of Revolutionary Co-Prosperity! This day is a day for rejoicing, and all workers with a third clearance or lower have this day as a holiday!"

The streets quickly fill with workers, happy they have been let out from their jobs, and they soon forget the announcement came after a half day of work. The announcement is followed by a march of the Spearguard, but the festivities are cut short when the request arrives to the Spearguard Command to aid the LJDC (Lyong Joint Defence Command)in the Border Amendment of Helekar and the liberation of Helekar from the raiding warlords. Soon the Arrowguard races south across the sky and the troops of the spearguard gather at Command for deployment south to the Ogawa.
