After five years of service, it has been determined that UMACs CAS-870 serries of shotgun is in need of replacing. The ICSPECWARCOM, IAN, and IAF all require new weapons to replace their outdated CAS-870s.

The CAS-870, produced by Imitora's United Military Arms Corporation, was based on the Remington 870 chasis, with modifications made by UMAC. However, UMAC will not be the only one submitting bids. All arms manufacturing corporations are welcome to submit a bid. The following parameters are the only required for pre test:

Military Submitions:
The shotgun must be automatic, with the ability to hold seven rounds (one in the chamber, six in the magazine), and have at least one rail interface unit for the attachemnt of reflex and holosights. It must have a pistol grip style stock, and fire the 12ga round. It must be able to handle both shotshell rounds and solid slug rounds. Stock can be collapsable or solid.

UMAC has submitted a design based on the Benelli M4 shotgun, now titled the UMAC CAS-400. Cost per shotgun is $2,900 per weapon, and once other submitions are made, the testing for the military weapon will start.

However, the military isn't the only one looking for a new shotgun. The Northern Provinces Carabineri is also looking for a new shot gun. It finds that the CAS-870, while reliable, isn't well suited for their requirements. The following requirements are made for the Carabineri weapon:

The shotgun can be automatic, however, they prefere it to be a pump action. It muse be able to hold 6 rounds (one in the chamber, five in the mag), and be lightweight, and have a system to prevent snags on the pump action. It must be able to accept both solid slug and shotshell rounds in either 12ga or 20ga.

UMAC has submitted a desing based on Benelli's Nova Pump chasis, but with modification to hold more rounds, and slight other modification to the weapon. Again, this is open for other designs, and teh awarded contract will be for slightly over 2.5million of shotguns.

The "Jackhammer" Heavy Assault Cannon

((Ignore the whole text in there, just look at gun))

With good ammunition capacity and a reasonable rate of fire, the Jackhammer is a modified assault shotgun. Instead of firing little metal pellets in a spread it instead using canister rounds to fire near molten fleches.

In alternate firing mode, the Jackhammer swiftly discharges all barrels in rapid succession, but all barrels must then reload before being able to fire again. Using a nine round clip it can fire three full bursts before needing a new one. Although primarily anti-infantry at close range it can also be used against armor (up to a point)

DCA Thermite fletchette launcher
Ever come across one of those people who BELIEVES (with a passion) that power armour actually exists, and buys 7 hundred gazillion units of them? (If you're one of those people, listen up because this next product will help you as well.) We have nothing against those people by the way... as long as they keep their powered armor away from us. Futuretech is for future, modern is for modern.

Still, would be nice to have something that could kill space marines.

Introducing the new DCA Thermite fletchette launcher! This weapon, fires 5 tungsten fletchettes with thermite cores beneath the tungsten tip, per shot, like a shotgun. After the tungsten tip penetrates "powered armour", the thermite core looses stability and cracks, igniting and spraying molten metal throughout the interior of the powered armour. Even if your opponent claims his Uberarmor can withstand the penetrating power of these tugsten darts, he will still have them stuck in his armor, leaking molten iron. I'd want to get out of THAT armour. For really obnoxious futurtech people, we have a solid flechet with an even larger amound of thermite... hehehe.

This weapon will also work against light armoured vehicles and is guaranteed to give standard body-armoured infantry a roastin' to remember!

The DbtS/C thermite fletchette launcher is select fire, (full or semi automatic) and has a fire rate of 450rpm. It has a 12 shot magazine.

An added plus, the magazine can be detached, fitted with a magnetic plate, burried and used as a great anti-personel mine!

Alternative ammo consistes of tiny pellets coated with thermite and soaked in motor oil, all contained in the cartredge. WHen fired, this will blast a sticky, flaming mess over anything it's aimed at. Armor penetration is down, and so is range.... but it's very depresing. As well, we sell standard solid slug, SABOT, and 12 guage ammunition.

DbtS/C Thermite fletchette launcher : $3000
DbtS/C Thermite fletchette launcher magazines (Factor Loaded): $50/magazine
$8000 for a crate of 200 magazines.
