At approximatly 4:30 today the millitary commander of Wirrawayan colony of Mozambique, General George Albus, was assainated by what was believed to be members of a under-ground communist group known as "The Fist of the Proletariat" or TFP. As the General exited a meeting with a tribal leader he was shot and killed by sniper firing out of the window of an adjacent building. The sniper was gunned down and communist propoganda and leaflets were found on his person.

General Albus was one of the most highly decorated members of the Wirrawayan Armed Forces and also one its most senior members, having served in almost every major Concordiat war in the past 50 years. He was known as a good and fair ruler by the locals and was in the midst of modernization program when his life was ended. The nation and his brothers in arms in the military will mourn his passing in a state funeral.

Measures against the Communists will severe and swift. All suspected Communists and sypathizers will arrested, interrogated and ejected from Wirraway and its colonies; furthermore communism and all other related ideologies are banned in the Wirrawayan Concordiat. If any further Communists are found after the ejections they will be summararily executed. The perpetrators of this heinous act will be made an example for other Reds in our territories.
