Ooc- Note this thread post in the civil war thread is intended to be not for comment, the thread devoted to solely to this incident is open for comment on this. (I anticipate lots of comments on this post, both IC and OOC, please keep them all in the thread devoted to this post, not the Brother Vs Brother civil war thread, where this will also be posted, as it is part of the civil war)
The truck with six militants and the leader, Bishop Felben, moved slowly along the rural road in Tennessee, he had slipped out of Namibia on a boat and then taken a plane from Florida to Arkansas, jumping out near the Tennessee border, he linked up with a cell of militants and some rebel soldiers.
As the truck moved lowly along the winding road, in the distance, could be heard the sounds of Mi-24s slicing through the air. At least three of them and they are approaching fast, looking for signs of rebel activity.
Felben looked out from the side window of the truck, he pointed off at the distant cave and told the driver to make for it, and quickly.
The driver complied and spun the wheel sharp to make the necessary turn, however something awful happened, the truck spun into deep mud and quickly became mired.
Felben watched in horror as the Mi-24s were getting closer and closer with each second.
He flung open the door and flew out of the truck, his feet impacting hard into the mud; he ripped his foot out of the waist-deep mud and attempted to push forward. Try as he might, his struggles were in vain; the mud was too great a foe. The great bishop who for years had conquered all his foes with either the gospel or in more extreme cases, suicide bombers, had finally met his match, waist-deep mud.
The sounds of the Mi-24s firing their rockets was the last sound he heard before he turned his head, uttered, “Shit!” and then was consumed in the balls of flames seconds later. The truck went up as well, One of the Mi-24s hovered overhead, assessing damage.
One of the rebels tried to crawl out the back of flaming truck, the helicopter fired again and his movements ceased altogether.
The Mi-24s each inserted four Mississippian Special Air Assault Squad operatives (MSAAS) down to the ground to assess what had happened, they sensed somebody important had been in the truck.
The lieutenant of the unit, a young man, was smoking a cigar, he slowly up to a charred body in the mud, the BDU had a partially visible name tag on it, “Fel--n” The cigar suddenly fell from his mouth, “Oh my God! We got him! We got him!”
DA government announcement: “This is Joseph Mladic, speaking via the White People’s Radio and Television Network. It has been confirmed, approximately thirty minutes ago, Bishop Herman Von Felben, leader of the Christian Martyrs Brigade, was killed by government forces in Tennessee. This is a great day for Mississippi and indeed the entire free world, of which Mississippi considers himself an integral part.”
