At 5:00 this morning, Sevarisian troops crossed the Maryland-Delaware border, to begin the process of liberating it from New Jerseyan rule. We have taken some casualties so far- but, I assure you, we will press on into Dover. Our casualties have been minor so far- but are expected to increase.

Special Forces had already crossed and were working on securing the bridge. They had met minimal resistance thus far and were securing the way for the remainder of the forces, who were driving from the north to Dover. One quarter of all land forces would go to and seize Wilmington and remain there. Another quarter would go on to Dover and maintain security there while the remaining half would secure land in between the northern border and Dover. It had begun and now it was almost over.

Sevarisian forces have reached the outskirts of Dover- advance troops have already captured Dover AFB, and paratroopers are being deployed to secure the Lewes marine terminal.

Even better, if he vanishes that means his claim does back to nobody so...

In an effort to seem kinder to the citizens of Delaware, not many troops had been posted there in an open-way. Regular soldiers from NJ lived in out-of the way areas.

However, many State Police troopers from New Jersey were sent to train Delaware forces. The rag-tag Delaware Companies were mustered with the more experinced New Jerseyans.

Wilmington Area Forces:
3,000 Regular soldiers
200 M1A2s
20 LAV-25s
100 Bradley Fighting Vehicles
280 Humvees
10 Rascal 155mm Self-Propelled Artillery
7,000 State Troopers
20 A-10
40 Apache Helicopters
10 F-16s

Dover Area Forces
1,000 Regular soldiers
100 M1a2s
100 Bradley Fighting Vehicles
240 Humvees
2,000 State Troopers
50 Apache Helicopters
16 F-16s

Figures from the intelligence missions were released to the general military and it was as expected, light resistance. The armada descending down into Wilmington and onto Dover was easily outnumbering the enemy forces by a massive ratio. 20 Layartebian F-22A Raptor fighters and 20 F-25A Firefox fighters were going to be providing CAP. The F-25A Firefox was the best stealth fighter in all of the Layarteb arsenal. Equipped with 8 AIM-9X Sidewinder and 8 AIM-120C-6 AMRAAM, the F-25 had a radar signature some 1/1000th that of the F-117 and seagull, making it invisible on just about any radar.

In addition, to support the armada as it moved on, Army Apache and Commanche helicopters were flying with the columns, to protect them from enemy tanks and aircraft. An E-8C J-STARS well over head and a pair of RQ-1 Predators were providing up-to-the-second information on the battlefield to all units. In addition, an E-3C AWACS was scanning the skies for potential threats.

Already, the Layartebian Air Force had 30 A-10A Thunderbolt II, 25 F-16C Falcon, and 20 F-15E Strike Eagle aircraft up in the air armed with Maverick missiles, cluster bombs, laser guided bombs (1,000 lb. and 2,000 lb.), and rockets. They would assist with the forward tank spreads.
