Inside a standard apartment unit outside of Brelinburg, approximately 50 delegates representing all of the provinces arrived, in order to discuss matters of importance.

According to Kaisergesetz (Imperial Law) 1.001, meetings of this sort are banned. There is no legislative system of government in Attica, and the Kaiser had made it clear that there never would be.

As the delegates sat down, they began discussions for the future of Attica.

Gregor Symbal, Dobïslaw Tchaikovsky and Otylia Skaradowski were among the most prevalent speakers.

Gregor: For over 200 years, the Imperial Dynasty has oppressed the people. Democracy is the wave of the future, and we should be the ones to push towards the future!
Dobïslaw: What are you suggesting?
Gregor: That we start a new liberal revolution, and overthrow this monarchy for good!
Otylia: That is treasonous! You could be hanged for even suggesting that!
Dobïslaw: Maybe there is a more reasonable solution. We have a new Kaiser, maybe we could pressure him into relinquishing some power to a parliament?
Gregor: I am still in favor of an all out rebe---

Just then, the front door is kicked in. 6 Sturmkorps troops rush in, and force everyone to the ground. 4 Reichspolizei also walk in, and begin arresting the people. Otylia Skaradowski was of course released immediately, seeing as she was an undercover agent for the Reichsgehemdienst.

President Tarumigan Gistarai spoke out today in the congressional State of the Union address regarding the arrests of some prominent pro-democracy activists in the Attican Empire:

"The United States of Shalrirorchia denounces the continued oppression of Attica's people by the Imperial authority, and -demands- that democratic reforms be undertaken immediately.

The United States believes that enfranchised citizens living in free nations is the natural human condition, and we will never stop trying to bring democracy to the huddled masses who yearn to be free!" *roar of applause and cheers*

The United States rebukes in the strongest possible terms the government of Attica. As we have seen time and time again, the Emperor's government is ultimately only interested in preserving its' power, no matter the cost to Attica's citizenry.

In response to the continued violation of the human condition...of Man's right to be free, I call on Congress to enact a comprehensive economic embargo on the Attican Empire!" *applause*

For all the people in Attica who lie under the boot of Imperial oppression, let me be heard. You are not alone, and one day you -will- be free. This is the promise of the United States of Shalrirorchia, the promise of liberty. I call on the citizenry of Attica to rise up in protest and show the Imperial government that it cannot tred forever on the people's rights, cannot forever cover their eyes with the night of tyranny. A day is coming when Atticans will be judged not by the bent of their political beliefs, but by the content of their character!" *roar of applause*

Thank you, thank you. God bless you, and God bless the United States!"

In response to the Shalrirorchian embargo, we are placing embargoes on Shalrirorchian goods as well. Seeing as Attica is a far larger nation, I would assume our embargo would cause more economic turmoil.

Chef der Polizê Walter Hümpler:

"
Political Insurgent Gregor Symbal has been executed today for treason. Him, and several others, were attempting to overthrow the Imperial Government, and force the nation into anarchy. Kaiserbefrager Otylia Skaradowski (Imperial Investigator) has been commended for the capture of Symbal.

The Kaiserregïrung (Imperial Government) is offering a 100,000 KM (Kaisermark, that is about 271,830 USD) reward for information leading to the capture of any other political insurgents thuought the nation.

As news of the arrests spread, any escaped council members reconvened in a facility outside of Zetross. The facility was protected by 400 Militiamen, which would hopefully keep any police at bay.

The 2nd Demokratischerat (Democratic Council) was in session. Approximately 120 delegates were present.

1st Rep: We must secede from the Empire!
2nd Rep: Are you mad! We would be slaughtered!
3rd Rep: Let us try to barter with the Kaiser!
1st Rep: He has already stated his intention of retaining the absolute monarchy.
2nd Rep: Then what are we to do?
3rd Rep: The best suggestion I can make is to distribute ballots on what the people think. Although the Kaiser would know, he could not find who did it. Once we get enough ballots back, we can present it to certain... figures.

--Several Zetrossan printing presses begin printing off thousands of ballots.

As the ballots began returning, the numbers came back odd.

"Well, what are the numbers?"
"40% are for the Kaiser, 45% are against, and 15% are undecided..."
"Submit it to der Herzog. We will see what he thinks..."

--5 hours pass, as the delegation waits outside the Herzogenlandzits--

Herzog: "Having sworn fealty to the Kaiser, I cannot personally promote what you are suggesting. However, I will not forcibly stop you. You are free to do whatever you wish, but be warned that the Reichswehr is not a machine to be messed with."

--2 days later--

As resistance cells were formed throught central Attica, primarily in the Zetross-Addison region, the Reichsgehemdienst became more aware of the possibility of a major threat.

Once the first bomb exploded in Zetross, the Kaiser was quick to react ---

--Kaiser standing on balcony, overlooking troops--
"My soldiers, yet again, the enemies of the Kaiserreich threaten to overrun our ancient systems. Yet again, it is you who must put an end to this treachery. I have ordered the Duke to impose martial law, and you are going to enforce it. Now march!"

--The troops, wearing the latest protective gear, cheered. The light glared off the collective heads, each covered in a full head and neck helmet. No part of any soldier was exposed to air, and each was armed with the latest in military technology. If necessary, they could be supported by both the air and by Panzers. Tomorrow, Zetross would lie in ruins.--

The troops left behind razed buildings all thru Zetross. Within 1 hour, the city of Zetross would be captured and razed. In all likelyhood, hundreds of thousands of people would die.

As several thousand troops left the city of Zetross in large columns, huge pillars of smoke billowed from Zetross. The glow from the flames could be seen up to 10 miles away...
