After years of hiding in the wilderness from having been driven underground by the world, we the Taliban are finally emerging from our caves and are establishing a Islamic Government in Kandahar.
We have reformed our ways and wish to open relations with other nations.
We no longer support terrorism or aggression against other nations.
We only seek peaceful relations and freedom of trade.
Mullah Omar
President
Islamic Republic of Taliban.

Just pointing out, that the Whittier Pact will be keeping its troops in Afghanistan and not pulling any of them out.

Will you let women go to school and work?
Will you stop the growing of Opium again?

On the question of women, it depends. We allow women to work (in their proper roles as outlined in the Koran)
We have already stopped the growing of Opium. That last opium farmers were executed last week.

Executions? That seems to me like an awfully harsh sentence. There are many, more efficient ways to deal with criminals.

Now that we have done these executions, the production of opium, rampant in the rest of Afghanistan, is totally non existent in Kandahar (Taliban).

Still, there are other ways to deal with the problem. Executions can catch the attention of powerful, liberal nations who disagree with your beliefs.

The Emperor is encouraged by the Taliban's reforms.
However, should any signs of Islamofascism return, we will take action.
Diplomat Kevin Rudd also sends a message seeing if you would like to establish official relations between the Taliban and the Empire, opening embassies and each other's capital.

It is highly doubtful we would be invaded over it. After all, all the world cares about is that we are not supporting terrorism. They could care less what we do in our own borders. And as long as we have the death penalty, it is highly unlikely that terrorists will make a come back.

We would be honored to exchange embassies.

If what you say is true, Vestern states would gladly open diplomatic relations with you.
We can send additional help in destroying the Opium fields

yes yes. It would be appreciated but we have no jurisdiction outside of Kandahar. If we had the world's permission, we could go into the rest of Afghanistan and destroy those opium fields also. But to make sure they didn't return we would have to annex those areas.

Taliban is officially islamic and sharia is enforced.
We are currently just establishing ourselves but we are fundamentalist muslims who wish to live in peace with the world.
