Ooc- At the request of Feminany, a new thread is being made for this incident that is basically a branch from the main conference RP. This is basically between Feminany and myself, so if you aren't me or her (maybe him, who knows) keep out.

Secret IC:

Captain Jean Marie Navarre, the seventeen year old son of Bertrand Navarre had successfully swam ashore on a remote beach in Feminany, he was part of a unit of the RG special forces, a combat diver. He was unarmed, except for his diving knife, he was here to gather intelligence about Thomas Stahlecker and ascertain where he was being held and to determine if he was even still alive.

He remembered being briefed for the operation, his father was pacing back and forth while the slides of the top personnel and important figures of Feminany were being shown. Jean Marie had his feet elevated on a table, not paying much attention to anything in particular, more interested in the tune he was whistling, than in listening to who the important politicians were. He didn't care who was who, he wanted to see maps of where he was to be inserted and extracted, reports about weather, moonlight, sunset, sunrise, details of his mission.

Something caught his attention though, he sat up in his chair, letting his feet fall to the ground, "Father, who is that?" he inquired.

His father paused the slide and checked the dossier, "Hmm... That would be the daughter of their leader. Why do you ask?"

Jean Marie hesitated for a second, put his feet back up on the desk, then sighed, "Shame she's probably a feminazi." he muttered under his breath. Bertrand questioned him, "What was that son?"

The captain quickly shot back, "Nothing father, just thinking to myself."

That had been hours ago though, now the young captain was moving off the beach in a remote region of Feminany. He hoped to get into the interior without raising any suspicion. He'd already ditched and buried his diving suit and all the gear he'd need to get out of here if for some reason the extraction team couldn't get him out.

He was moving silently and swiftly, sticking to the terrain, keeping in the undergrowth... He was hoping to reach the capital in a few hours. Jean Marie prayed he'd not be seen.

Ooc- About Captain Jean Marie Navarre

Captain Jean Marie Navarre (17) A captain in a combat diver unit of the Republican Guard Special Forces. Jean is a son of Bertrand Navarre. He is somewhat cocky and arrogant; this arrogance likely stems from the fact that he managed to get a law degree by age 15, but decided instead to join the RG Special Forces. He has always been a swift swimmer so it was only natural he became a combat diver. He has his father’s charm and good looks. Jean Marie is most well-known for a book he published at age 16, titled, “Through Hell For Fabus”, about the campaign in Angola, which he took part in. 6’2. 191 lbs. brown hair, green eyes. IQ 152

About his father

Field Marshal Bertrand “The Butcher” Navarre (43) the commander of the 2nd RG Division, the “White Knights” Division of the Republican Guard. Born in Mississippi shortly after his parents fled Algeria in 1962. Frenchman. He got his nickname from a guerilla propaganda radiobroadcast for what happened when he was a major in 1991 and what he ordered his battalion to do to over 2,000 enemy guerilla who had surrendered (The only time he ever had anybody executed, but the nickname stuck. The prisoners were guerillas that had been killing civilians, so he didn’t think they deserved any mercy). Ranked as the 4th handsomest public figure in DA, also considerably wealthy. The Imperial Wizard of the White Knights of Mississippi. Duke of Neshoba County. Married and has a large number of children. IQ 149.

Of course, the intruders presence had not gone unnoticed. With the foriegn infantry gaurding the main cities, it had allowed the Feminanian scouts to scour the landscape. Eventually, one had spotted the diver as he emerged from the sea.

Meanwhile, the head of FIS was rapt with attention. As the reports had come in, she had let out a verbal groan. This was all that she needed, what with the arrest of the DA delegate. She buzzed through a tall, dark Caucasian by the name of Karis.

You may have made a mistake in arresting Shaekler Karis. However, here is a chance to redeem yourself. This man, she thrust a photograph accross the table, has entered the country illegally. It is your job to kill him.

Karis's face remained set, she showed no suprise.

Where is he?

That we do not know. We will keep eyes and ears open for you. Good luck.

Young Jean Marie was slowly creeping into the hills overlooking the main city, his goal was to ascertain where Thomas Stahlecker was being held. He tightly gripped his knife in his hand, holiding it at his side. He suddenly felt uneasy, as though somebody was watching him, he wished he'd taken an MP-5SD along on this mission. But the command said his mission wasn't one which would require it; he was here only to gather intelligence.

Bertrand Navarre was pacing in his mansion, worrying about his son, he turned to face his friend, Curtis Fabus, who had joined him.

(Curtis) "Are you okay?"

(Bertrand) "God help them if something happens to my son... If something happens, I want you to promise me you'll get Roger to do something about it..."

Curtis quietly nodded, "I will, don't worry... If your son is killed, his death will not go unavenged."

Karis was stalking through the undergrowth, her movements absolutly controlled. There could be no mistakes here. She had waited in her rocky hideout for over an hour now, in the mountain climb to the capital. Her heat vision view of the landscape showed that the intruder was not here yet. After, he would stand out. Suddenly, a crouching individual appeared, she zoomed in, his face a maze of red.

I see you... She wispered as she lined up her shot. He was out of range, for now.

Navarre was readying to sneak into the city, moving slowly down into a ravine that was parallel to the section he was going to enter. His pace quickened, he darted from one tree to the next, suddenly, a shot rang out, he felt the sting, the pain, he fell forward, he'd been hit in the chest, it missed his heart, but collapsed a lung. He lay there, flat as he could, he rolled over onto his back and looked up, not knowing where the shot came from. Now he was behind a large rock, it'd provide some cover, hopefully. He was cursing for not taking a gun with him, he cursed high command for refusing his request for the gun.

He lay there, looking up at the sky, he started to fade into unconsciousness, he heard movement approaching, he was too weak to do anything.

Summoning all his strength, he shouted to whoever was approaching, "Finish the job, it shouldn't be too hard to kill a wounded man. Finish the job!"

He attempted the maintain the facade of strength, but truly he was scared to the point he pissed his pants, he'd never been in a situation like this before. He was certain he was about to die and so he started to pray.

Karis threw the rifle aside. She knew exactly what to do, and she radioed back to FIS.

Is he dead? Came the crackled responce.

Not yet she replied making sure that the man could hear every word It depends on how much he is worth alive.

The radio buzzed angrily, then spoke again.

Do I have to make a quick decision?

Yes

There was an audible sigh.

Very well, bring him in. We can always kill him later.

Navarre looked up at her, "So, I'm worth more to you alive than dead, you've realized that eh?" he chuckled, "Well then, I guess we're going to whatever dungeon of an intelligence center you interrogate people at, yes?"

He struggled to stand, and was able to get himself into a semi-standing position, "You know, I could have killed you, if it'd been a hand-to-hand fight. But oh well, lead the way to this dungeon of yours."

She was wondering how he was able to stand with such a grievous wound to his chest, she noticed that the bleeding had already stopped. Granted, his lung was collapsed, but his body was engineered such that bleeding would stop almost immediately, and his other lung would work harder. (Bertrand Navarre had his children greatly genetically enhanced)

ooc: Remember, you don't know what my character is thinking...

ic: Having observed the mans miraculous recovery, she knew that she could take no further chances. She drew a hypodermic needle and stuck it into the mans arm, the sedatives would have their effects within seconds.

ooc: We will probably do a thread with the trial of your diplomat and his 'resuer' after this. Also, I apologise for my attrocious spelling.

Ooc- There isn't much he can do, is there.

Ic- About two hours later, he awoke in an intelligence interrogation facility in the capital city. He looked up at the window he knew they were watching him from behind and he smiled, "Ah, I know you're there, you think you scare me?"

There was a soft chuckle, and behind the window a woman straightend up. No-one, save a precious few in the upper echlons of the intelligence community knew her name, they just reffered to her as the Black Widow. She leaned easily accross to the speakers, a serated blade clasped in her hand.

Fear comes in many shapes and forms, my young friend, and you will feel it. Now, you will tell us who you are and why you are here.

He chuckled, "My name is Jean Marie Navarre, the Navarre name, I am sure you know of it. Father's best friend is Curtis Fabus, the leader's father, if you harm me, he tells Curtis who tells Roger and then it means war. Think very hard before you touch me... Woman..."

I would not be so cock-sure of your situation. You have been shot. Had it been a heavy calibure bullet you would be dead right now. As it happens you are barely alive.

Only four people know for sure that you are alive. That is yourself, the Guardswoman who brought you in, the head of FIC and myself. That is all.

She stroked the blade of the knife. He would pay for his last remark.

Now you have several options. The first is you tell me nothing and I dispose of you as I see fit. I like the sound of that.

Now I could kill you myself, or I could have you put in a high security cell with the cadre of the WLA. You wouldn't last a day. Or I could just refuse you hospital treatment and you will die of your wounds.

Are you ready to hear the second option?

He nodded his head, "Yes, fine, tell me the other option."
