It all started a few days ago when refugees from a multi-player strategy game, Space, began flooding into the new region known as Space Exiles. The bustling refugee camp quickly grew into a busy metropolitan region, and began attracting interesting nations from outside the original group of refugees.

Like most refugee cultures, Space Exiles is extremely security conscious, even paranoid. New comers are given a password for entry, but watched closely for signs of betrayal. While democratic ideals are held in high esteem, as founder I hold all the ultimate power in the region, though, it's a power I've never had to exercise. Our security apparatus exchanges information well outside of the world of Nation States to avoid infiltration.

I've created this thread, to provide the Space Exiles region a public forum in which to share our culture and extend ourselves into the international arena.

Ha, although no longer a member of the Space General Forums group, I can spout all of my moderate Republican positions here until I get tired of all of your negative reactions! hahahahahahahaha :sniper:

Greetings Space Exiles from the Protectorate of Larix and Kura. I am Leiter Appledoor, given the responsiblility of making treaties with other countries and regions and to settle matters of trade. I have come on the behalf of Protector Red Ruth, who is the ruler of my country, to extend a hand of friendship.

With permission I will land my ship on your homeworld once you have sent their co-ordinates. Once reaceived they will be followed then destroyed under the assumption that your region wishes secrecy.

Larix-Kura, we are exiles from a far flung region of space. As refugees, we keep on the move. Ever cautious, we will agree to meet you on a 3rd party planet. Please bring a history of both your allied regions and your enemies if you are serious about entering into any sort of diplomatic negotiation. Just as it is true that the enemy of my enemy is my friend, the opposite is also true (well, depending on how you apply the concept of opposite). We expect to be fully informed as to what sort of liabilities forming an alliance with you may bring.

Paranoid diplomacy aside, we most humbly appreciate your offer, and hope you are not too put-off by our stipulations.

Only I Leiter Appledoor and 10 shock troopers who are my guard will be present. There are no strings attached to this alliance other than military aid and if wanted the ocasional trading of resources. Anything more will be expressed by my leader Protector Red Ruth who will be present via hologram."

The Ambassadorial ship Ticondoroga heads to Pyloid to await the Space Exiles emmbasy.

"Minister, We're recieving a transmission, it seems Our Leader has reassigned us to Diplomacy,"
"Ay, put the man on the speakers,"

After reviewing the message, the Minister stood up, Activate voice. Slowly the lights of the space station helius activated the return transmission.

"To the Honorable Minister Larix-Kura,
Minister, My leader has appointed me to deal with our new agreement. Let us meet on the planet Revesha, Sector 7, Grid 8, Planet 018571. Approxamatly 2 ticks away from your current possition, a half hours journey at most. Now, At that system will be awaiting the Starship Friar, which will be armed, but only for our protection, the weapons aboard the ship will not fire upon any of your ships. There a Holographic image of my leader will be present and we can discuss politics over, say a Cup of Coffee? I will be most anxious to meet you Minister.

Discussion, on the comings and goings of this region,

I, the Leader of Daniels Ire proclaim that we, the good people the Space Exiles, to be a good natured bunch, and warmly wish for trade with other nations. And a good thwap upon the heads of some of our nations that lean towards dictatorship.
