Today the nation of Stevid announces that over 110 ships in the navy are to be removed from active service and to be put on the international naval market. The reason for this is that the SNDP (Stevid Naval Design Products) has come up with a new revolutionary design for a cruiser, which has, at the moment, only been given the designation “Type 88 Cruiser”.
The Stevid navy is huge already and is stretching funding to its limits, the Stevid economy and adding 73 brand new, state of the art cruisers is surly going to be damaging to the centre of Stevid’s defence funding. In order to avoid this, the MOD of Stevid is announcing the sale of 118 ships (Prices listed next types of vessels).

*Equipment will not be removed from vessel with this star.

*48 Type 28 Destroyers “Duke Class”- £400,000
*20 Type 42 Destroyers Batches 1 & 2 “Manchester Class”- £450,000
18 Type 45 Destroyers “Devonshire Class”- £550,000
*23 Hind joy Cruisers- £600,000
*5 Invincible Class Aircraft carriers- £756,000
3 Sovereign Class Battleships- £1.6 million (Nuclear powered)
1 CVF aircraft carrier - £3.5 million (Nuclear powered)

All those without stars have technology that Stevid does wish to sell to nation, for example, the radar tech on the type- 45. Allies of Stevid may request tech for some of their purchases.

Are those prices each, or for the lot?

Definitly each, if it were for the lot i'd be the bloody madest fool on NS. No one sells group of ships that cheap.

But yeah, the prices are for each ship.

for a total of 10,712,000, wired upon confirmation. The technology doesn't matter too much, some of it's going to be replaced, as these ships are going to be used primarily for training.

Still far too cheap... one of your aircraft carriers costs less than a single RL fighter, and the majority of your ships are cheaper than MBTs.

Chardonay: Yes very cheap but the carriers are the biggest things in the world (the CVF's are). These ships are draining me of money. I have to get rid of them someway. Also, some of my rich and lovely citizens donate money to the construction of ships.

you'd make more money by scrapping them... you're selling them for about .1% of the orrigional price.

I bought them for a cheaper price from a long dead nation. Poor old baddass....... he will be remembered.
