The world began to talk as the day of the gala approached. It had been 2-months since the fast recovery of Aimira since their revolutionary war with the no longer Daloo Empire. The finishing touches were added to the glorious capital Rhyne. Buildings were made of vibrant glass, gardens and flowers lined every walk way, the sea and the beaches were made beautiful again, and the towering Dome of the Global building arose on the horizon built just for the Gala. The Aimiran Hall, where the Senate meets, was almost like the Capital Building in the USA, but more elaborate.
Downtown Rhyne was lined with lights, the Capital Park had huge rides and booths and all sorts of fancies for the incoming international crowd. The Global Gala will last 5-days so that will allow the international delegates and their citizens to come and go as they please. Despite the pleasure that the Gala will insure, the other purpose is to also allow an opening of Aimiran doors to the governments of the world. Aimiran President Bostian will give a speech tonight at St. Marys Church, the biggest in the country[ just picture St. Peters Basilica in Rome], and also the Adullam President Goddfrey. Later in the week, speeches will also be given by other world leaders on the gala and the topics of their choosing. Total people expected during the course of the week: 10,000,000 +

THE OFFICIAL OPENING BEGINS NOW....

"My fellow citizens of the world." replied President Bostian in Capital Park. "This week is going to be the biggest week in the world. The purpose of this Gala is to permit peace among nations, let the citizens of the world have loads of fun, and to open dimplomatic relations with Aimira and any other country you meet. There is too, too much war in this world. We have just recovered from ours. If you come from a country that is currently at war, come to the Gala free minded and forget about your troubles and sorrows.[the thousands began to clap] Seeing how this is the biggest celebration that the world has seen to date, we will take advantage of that and use that to help you have more fun[more clapping] Go forth and have fun, but remember, do not do anything illegal!!![he laughs] LET THE CELEBRATION BEGIN[as he said this, he took a wine bottle and threw it up in the air and let is bust in front him on the ground, then the air was filled with 2 jets streaming across the sky above the gathered mass and left trails of blue and white{the Aimiran colors}.

The music began to play, the people began to dance, and the Global Buildings doors opened and the delegates began to walk in.

The Emperor of Chronosia; Marcus De Drakan had come himself to see this Gala; to mingle and hopefully forge allies for himself and his brethern in the Neo USSR; he glances about him, softly, gazing at the splendidly decorated building; done up for this Global Gala, to unite a world in this new nation. He smirked as he moved through the crowd; taking a drink from a tray and siping at it. "Now let us see what dreams may come of mans desire for peace" He muttered; waiting to see what other nations had brought their business here

In the Catholic church of St. Mary's Cathedral, the 400 rows of pews were full. As the President of both Adullam and Aimira proceeded to the front of the alter. As the archbishop finished with the opening prayer, he introduced the presidents.

"Thank you archbishop Peter. As I look around here tonight and what I have seen today, not very many national leaders have come to the Gala. However, many of their citizens have come to rejoice in the presence of peace. As I stand here with my closest ally, I open my arms to the leaders of the world to come and converse with each other to create a type of peace that will produce no war. For many years, the south pacific has been in a type of suspended peace. It is my goal to create a permant peace that will last. With the help of Adullam, and the many other nations that have come here, will suspend that peace to all the regions of the world. The constitutional states need to band together and start the walk together towards unity. For the rest of the Gala time; I will be in meetings with the other national leaders to discuse the plans for a new coalition. A coalition of peace and unity. Now for my close friend and ally, President Tayo....."

"Thank you President Bostian. To the people of the world, I am president Tayo. It was such a great idea for the Aimiran government to create a gala that would be open to every nation on the earth. As President Bostian just stated, the purpose of this gala is to create a start for countries to work together in order to achieve peace and unity. My country and I stand here with open arms for any who wish to create a beginning where the future is bright and the past is remembered. Not much is left to say except to have fun."

As both Presidents walk out of the church and were greated by the press. As a few statements were given, the boarded a black SUV and drove to Global Central.
