Yes, folks, yet another OOC thread for the Mekantan/ESUS war...

I wish to know exactly who is on my side, and what they are helping me with. Wheather it be PR, supplies, ships, or anything else, I need to know the inventory of the Allied Forces.

Remember, we must rally to make sure that we are not defeated! This war, which started because of a sneak attack by Mekanta (who used his puppet, Neo-Mekanta to actually frame him, the derned fool) on the UFGZ. We were then dragged into war with teh ESUS because of the nature of the membership of Mekanta into the ESUS.

Allies, I call out to you, Support Your Brethren in the cause of justice!

I didn't do anything. It's a glitch that pops up every once in a while.

Oh, I've got nothing to fear from the Shivans. They know not to mess with me.

Actually, I just hold all the Shivan players in the utmost contempt and wont lower myself to RP with them, but it's all the same.

I hold Imperial Brits/Unified Sith with respect. The others...bleh. I wouldn't RP with them, even with a gun to my head. Novaing my sun way early in a war has me triggering my Ignore Turbolaser Cannons at them.

The real thing is, in an actual war I would just massacre them and they know it. It has nothing to do with my power in the NS Universe, but rather where my tech is from. If you didn't know, I get all my technology and ships from the computer series FreeSpace (Which is composed of the games Descent: FreeSpace, FreeSpace: Silent Threat, and FreeSpace 2) which also happens to be where the Shivans are from. All my technology is either Shivan in origin or specifically designed to kill the Shivans.

My shields: reverse engineerd from captured fighters
My Beam Cannon: Based upon the Flux Cannons of the SD Lucifer
My Harbinger Warheads: Designed to destroy the SD Lucifer
My Flak Cannons: Based upon the Point Defense Systems of the Demon class Destroyers
etc.

There'd be no contest, it would be a slaughter.

Get them, they're awesome. Well, FreeSpace and FreeSpace 2 are awesome, I wouldn't say so about Silent Threat. Frankly, I think it was a waste of money. It had 6 freaking missions! What the hell is up with that? The other two have like 30 or 40 different missions each, with little miny campaigns strewn througout, but Silent Threat only has Six! What a jyp!

But they were good missions, so I'm kinda comforted.

Yup. Only about 20000 or so may actually be capital-grade (500 m or more by my standards). I only have 1500 ISDs and a few larger ships. But the reason I have so few is that they're A. powerful and B. expensive.

OOC: Yeah, I'd just use my PUG cannons to get rid of the Subspace shields, before blasting them with my GACs and Oscillator Cannons. Funfun!

Has the war all but died? I mean it has been a pretty long while since anything happened and if it isn't going to happen any more i would like to know so I can explore other threads.

OOC: Err...excuse me...Did you say 20,000 capital ships!? How the hell can a nation only slightly larger than my size afford twenty thousand capital ships?

Also, I'm afraid that I'll have to end my participation in the war for the moment. Having your nation destroyed kind of does that to ya. ;)

Rest assured that when my nation gets back on its feet, Grand Admiral Halsey will start knocking off nations on his hit list.

Let me guess...The UFP is footing the bill. But doesn't that sort of leave the UFP without a fleet? I mean, what if someone wanted to move in and attack the UFP while all your ships are away?

They get creamed, plain and simple. Of course, TFU put his ships under joint jurisdiction (ie creating a UFP Fleet), but I don't.

Given TFU's history of numberwanking, I'd be cautious about UFP fleet numbers...
