Dirtyfrank

~As broadcast across the government ran television service.~
*The camera opens on a dark haired man in a blue pinstriped suit. He is standing behind a podium bearing the flag of the Armed Republic of Dirtyfrank. He clears his throat as he straightens his tie and looks directly at the camera.*
This will be brief….at six twenty-two this morning, Pacific Standard Time, a force comprised mostly of teenaged rebels attempted to assassinate our benevolent leader, the Supreme Chancellor, Frank Merritt. The force totaled in the numbers upwards of sixty, stormed the Presidential Compound, and used a dump truck as the carrying case for a bomb, detonating it within Frank’s residence. The blast destroyed most of his home and was felt more than a mile away.
Fortunately for us, the Supreme Chancellor was visiting the Kingdom of Sangui, in talks with their leader. The group of rebels was crushed and those that weren’t immediately killed shall face a trial this afternoon and, most likely, execution this evening by public hanging.
Again, Supreme Chancellor Frank Merritt was not injured or even in the country at the time of the attack. We will route out who aided these rebels with the manufacturing of these explosives and they shall have a trial before being executed….Good day….
*The speaker abruptly turns and exits the stage leaving the reporters slack jawed and hungry for answered questions.*
