The Republic of Nuptse Armed Forces

As of the last national census, the Nuptse Armed Forces make up a total percentage of less than .5% of the nation. This census came to the total population of 546,749,180 citizens, with 2,041,472 personnel in the Armed Forces.

Qualifying for entry into the Nuptse Armed Forces is of the highest tier. To even be considered for entry, each applicant must have a Bachelor’s degree, significant history in the outdoors, and score 80% on the MPET.

Once qualified for basic level entry, each applicant must go through a rigorous physical examination, consisting of:

38 Pushups (2 Minutes)
46 Situps (2 Minutes)
6 Pullups (2 Minutes)
2 Mile Run (11:30)
1000m Swim (Unlimited)

After the physical examination, the applicant is given one day of rest, and then must pass the Marksmanship Test, consisting of sixty rounds with the Basic Model M4. Applicants are required to score 85% on the Marksmanship test to move on to the next phase.

Upon finishing Qualification, applicants are now considered Recruits. Recruits now enter into First Phase of training, which focuses on physical training. The phase lasts for twelve weeks, at the end of which Recruits are given one week of rest. Thus begins Phase Two, where they become familiar with Nuptse Military weapons, vehicles, equipment, military language, and basic tactics. Phase Two lasts for six weeks, and two days of rest follow. Following Phase Two, Recruits enter Phase Three, which focuses primarily on learning about foreign weaponry, foreign languages, operation of foreign equipment, and foreign tactics. Recruits are given two days rest after eight weeks in Phase Three. Phase Four goes back into physical training. Recruits are introduced to 50-Mile FunRuns and 2-Mile Sprints. The phase lasts twelve weeks, and Recruits receive one week off following. Phase Five introduces Recruits to their Field of Specialization. Recruits train to pursue their Specialization Badge, be it from Sniper, Equipment Specialist, Gunbunny (Infantry), etc. The phase lasts twenty-two weeks, and gives two weeks rest. Phase Six divides the men into their specialized fields and places them into selective units, upon which they will train together, utilizing unit tactics, real-life scenarios, etc. This final phase lasts twenty weeks and grants one month leave before they are sent to their divisions, units, etc., for deployment.

Out of every hundred entrants to the Nuptse Military, only an estimated eight go on to deployment.

just so you know, in the rl us armed forces, the fastest run time on the 2 mile run is 13 minutes 30 seconds. There was one fellow who got it down to 12 minutes 59 seconds. But no one in the military has been able to do 2 miles in 11 minutes.

[No, I've witnessed somebody in the US Army run a sub-13:00. It's hard, but not totally uncommon for people to break 13:00. To score 100% on the PT test, you have to run under 13:00. But whatever, I'll change it to suit your needs.]
