OOC: Hehe. I always wanted to know how good X-wings are against Gundams. Agile starfighters vs teenagers (or twentysomethings) in giant robot suits. Cool!

IC:
Commander Jason Davis is a very experienced fighter pilot. He survived the Shivans as a newbie pilot and was promoted as a result. Now he is set to engage another enemy, one that uses mobile suits.

Isn't that the same Gundam craft that my kid likes to watch on holovid? He internally asked. He flipped switches on his HUD, reinforcing the forward deflector shields and switching the cannons to dual burst before the laser sights turned red. That signaled the pilot to shoot at the first mobile suit with deadly spears of coherent red light, 2 laser bolts at a time.

Meanwhile, aboard the Devastator...

"The Dominion seems damaged, sir, yet it didn't respond to our warnings and hails."

"Very well. Forward turbolasers, open fire! Order the White Wolf to engage the Archangel!" If the Dominion thought one light turbolaser bolt was bad, dozens of bigger ones would surely be worse. Same for the Archangel.

"Sir, more ships moving up. Looks like they're trying to recloak!"

"Right. Have more Impstars move to this part of the word. Start the music!" This was the order to increase jamming and sensor power to full, enough power to reduce sensors to visual on most enemy craft and to fry modern-day fighter computers. It also happens to work on cloaks, but it depends on the cloak in question. In the meantime, three more Star Destroyers lit their engines to head to the new battlefield. ETA: Several minutes.

OOC: Basically, I give you a 50-50 chance of being able to cloak or not. Flip a coin. :p

OOC: Technically, I don't cloak, as in, go invisible and all. My Neutron-Jammers (or N-Jamemrs for short) disable ALL neutron emissions, bla bla bla, and stuff. Since Gundam SEED does not exactly explain what it does, I shall interpret it on my own. :) Which means it's technically unbreakable until something disrupts it (as I highlighted, positronic interference), and, any enemy ship using nuclear reactors within a very close range of the N-Jammer emitter will cease to function since its reactor cannot work without the fancy-schmacy neutron reactions. :D

On board the Dominion
Holding position, 2500 kilometres from ARETMIS

"Sir! Message from the Archangel! They're ready to move under their own power!"

"Roger that. Order Captain Le Creuset to head towards the Devastator's fleet, and for us to head in the same direction. Make sure that the other two space stations of the Naturals do not have direct line-of-sight with out fleet."

The entire fleet, spread 2000 metres apart, began moving in a diagonal line, just as the X-Wings began their attack on the Astrays.

In the cockpit of the MBF-M1 M1 Astray Romeo One

Lieutenant Sayaka Suga watched calmly, keeping her sensors tracked on the incoming X-winged enemy combatants. Spotting enemy fire, she instinctively held up her left hand, which, through neuro-link, transmitted the action to the Astray, which held up the beam shield on the left arm of the Mobile Suit. The four beams of light struck the shield, and were deflected off by its anti-beam coating. The members of her squadron did the same, and covered themselves with their shields as they ignited their thrusters, and headed straight for their targets, locking each one within their target brackets, and firing green beams in return at the marauding fighters. (OOC note: My pilots are Coordinators, which are genetiaclly enhanced humans with faster rates of reactions, and everything. :P Am I still god-modding? Because I'm following closely to the SEED storyline and stuff)

On board the Dominion

"Admiral! Enemy fire, port side, distance 4000!"

"Take evasive action! Fire the anti-beam depth charges!"

The Dominion manoeuvred on its attitude thrusters, bringing it up and away from its original spot. The missie ports on its port and starboard ribs opened, and launched a few more canisters, which exploded and generated a field of particles which dissipated the turbolasers in their midst. Still, two managed to hit the Dominion, which shook the craft a little.

"What's our status?"

"Phase Shift at Ninety-five percent and recharging..."

"Sir, the Archangel's been hit!"

Gryzlov watched out of the vidscreen, and saw a green lance of light stab at the Archangel. Its Phase Shift Armour managed to absorb part of the blast, but most of the energy from the turbolasers nicked off armour plating from the ship itself.

"Admiral, incoming fighters! Three new neutrino emissions, pop-up contacts!"

Gryzlov cursed.

"Order all ships to launch their Mobile Suits! The Menelaos to keep her Mobile Armour on reserve! Generate anti-ship, anti-fighter profile!"

"What about our units, Sir?"

"Launch them! Kusanagi, Archangel and the rest of our Astray complement to stay for defence. I want the Rusty MS Team to hit the enemy command ship, and the Freedom and Justice to dock with their METEOR units!"

As the command was transmitted, the ships began to launch their onboard complement of Mobile Suits. Even the Archangel, her Astray's leapt out of the hangar without launching from the linear catapult.

From the Seraphim, the five mobile suits of the Rusty MS Team emerged. The OGAT-X102 Duel Gundam, the OGAT-X103 Buster Gundam, the OGAT-X207 Blitz Gundam, the OGAT-X303 Aegis Gundam and the OGAT-X105+AQM/E-X03 Launcher Strike Gundam. A coat of colour washed over the drab metal surfaces of the suits as they activated their Phase Shift Armour, and headed straight for the Devastator.

The AOGMF-X09A Justice Gundam and the AOGMF-X10A Freedom Gundam also launched from the Dominion, docking in mid-space with their METEOR mobile arsenals. The various ships also deployed their on-board weapon empalcements, ready to strike at the enemy once they were in range. Other suits such as the GuAIZs formed protective screens around their motherships, while a portion of them also prepared for an assault.

(OOC note: My pilots are Coordinators, which are genetiaclly enhanced humans with faster rates of reactions, and everything. :P Am I still god-modding? Because I'm following closely to the SEED storyline and stuff)
OOC: Nah. I use Jedi pilots myself (though many are not). Basically the same thing, plus offensive psychic attacks when need be. I like to watch the show, as well. Very cool.

IC:
The Commander zoomed by Lieutenant Suga, knowing that he has a tough target. "Good thing the shields can take the fire."

He pulled up his proton torpedo program and dual-linked it so that not one, but two torpedos would fire. He counted to ten, then banked and yawed till the Lieutenant is in his crosshairs again. His astromech beeped fast and loud, signalling that the target has been acquired. The pilot pressed the side button on his joystick and with a roar, the blue-tinged torpedoes were away.

The Devastator continued to fire upon the Dominion, now adding concussion missiles (think powerful nukes) and ion cannon bolts (helps to disable electronics for the kill; blue and looks like lightning when they hit) to the battle. The Star Destroyer also pitched low, beginning to use the heavy dorsal turbolaser cannons to help overload the Phase Shift shields.

The White Wolf continued to blast the Archangel as it senses the 'blood' and begins to move in for the kill like it's canine namesake.

A squadron of Jedi pilots were launched from the Super Star Destroyer on the other side of the planet to aid the regular X-wings in their fight against the mobile suits. The XJ version of the venerable fighter has three, rather than two torpedo launchers and stronger weaponry and shields, emphasizing the 'peace through superior firepower' stance of the younger Jedi.

Yellow Squadron, an A-wing squadron, lit their ion engines and began to fight the Gundams aiming for the Devastator. While not as armored and shielded (couple hits and they die) as the X-wing, they have speed and superior manuverability to make up for it. They hope to box the Gundams in with the point-defense turbolasers and laser cannons of the larger ship, and destroy them.

Losses:
3 X-wings so far.

"We've got a meeting engagement at .09 Alpha coordinates. Requesting instructions."

The controller of the advanced Samtonian radar was transmitting live now to the officer in charge of the Samtonian air defenses, with the modern wonder of the web-cam allowing instant telecommunication.

"Son, I want status on the battle so far."

"We've got a melee of fighters around the outskirts of enemy unknown fleet and ISDs moving to engage enemy capships. Look to be unknown design."

General Gage laughed. "Are they within threat range?"

The controller nodded. "All but two of the cannons are fully within shot area. We've got a projected estimate of an 87.6% successful strike."

Gage nodded to someone offscreen. "Make it happen."

With that, the conversation was terminated.

As the order went out, massive cannons that were completely unworldly in their design began to turn to the same facing, venting huge quantities of unknown substances. Plasma generators began working overtime, their hum building to a devestating crescendo.

Samtonia had received advanced technology. It seemed about time to test it.

And at the same instant, the massive beam weapons began pulsing out energy, overloading reactors all around Samtonia. Failure of multiple power grids wasn't uncommon in the minutes that the cannos fired. Continuous burst came arching out of Samtonia, all aimed at the underbellies of yet another invading fleet.

Death was to be visited upon all invaders. Death by strange, new technology.

OOC- Basically I received lots of fun future-tech defense cannons from Kormanthor. Samtonia was busy setting them up while you were all maneouvering to attack one another. Now we've got them linked and firing up AO's backside. I have no idea on stats, go ask Kormanthor for 'em. I'd simply assume some type of really big turbo-laser type thing.

And yes, they are on routes designed to avoid the ISDs if they miss. We're not that dumb.

"Commander Calgar, the message is ready. Shall I send it?"
"......"

Calgar thought hard about what he was going to do. The original plan was only for four Orbitals to defend Earth, and if they failed, the remaining Orbitals would leave the Solar system for a new planet. But now.....

"....send it. It looks like the Earthlings might just stand a better chance now....at our expense...."

The Comm officer, with some hesitation, sent the pre-recorded signal. It quite simply read:

It is time. All Orbitals, engage Subvecto drives. Prepare all ships for combat. Get all civilians to safe areas. You are to deploy in your standard positions. That is all.

Calgar winced as he thought of the loss of life to the Orbitals that would inevitably ensue. The entire group of Rinceweedian Orbitals would deploy back to their normal positions, forming a grid of defenses around the entirety of Earth, each part of the grid capable of holding off a small fleet on it's own. Quite simply, the battle for Earth just got harder for the invaders....

OUTSIDE EARTH ORBIT

Hundreds of kilometers from Earth, hundreds of what appeared to be black holes began to form, each kilometers in size, creating a massive sphere of gravity around Earth, sucking in space debris, the occasional passing meteorite, and even a minute amount of the Earth's atmosphere.

From the 'Black Holes', the Orbitals came, all varying sizes, from the smallest being 20 Km in size, to the most gargantuan of all, Pioneer One, measuring up at 50 Km in size. As soon as the Subvecto 'Black Holes' closed, the Orbitals began launching their defence fleets, and heading towards Earth Orbit to form the defensive grid.

[OOC]: Ok, now everything gets interesting. This is my entire freaking nation defending the planet now. Quite simply, there are 57 Orbitals now defending Earth, plus their respective defence fleets.

In total, the defence fleets total:

10 Dreadnaughts
60 Heavy Bombardment Ships
40 Hornet Class Cruisers
50 Heavy Cruisers
30 Battleships
150 Boarding Craft
5 Electronic Warfare Ships
4000 Hornet Fighter/Bombers (1200 of which are stationed on Hornet Class Carriers)


Oh, this is going to be fun......

Oh, and just so y'all know, don't expect to have to face the entire godamn fleet at once, this fleet is spread out all around Earth, along with the Orbitals, so you'll only ever face a small part of it at a time.

As the black holes closed, the wave of debris continued to move towards the Earth. the flotsam was pulled in this direction by the Gravitational Surge but it was too far away to be devoured by the multiple event horizons while they existed. The result was a rain of objects which would for the most part burn up on atmospheric entry, although there were several which would cause some damage due to their size or compesition.

The main threat of the objects was the interference to sensor readings.

(OOC: If this is not realistic, I will delete this post. Besides, it will make things even more interesting if everyone was "blinded"...)

"Sir, we've got some very large ships heading towards earth. I think they might be of earthling origin. These things are big, I think it best we tay back a little bit..." yelled a scanner operator on Captain Amelio's ship.

"How big are we talking, boy?" replied Captain Amelio.

"Well the smallest would appear to be about twenty times larger than us, and theres ones that are a lot bigger." replied the scanner operator.

"Well, then lets keep are distance, and hope..." replied the captain.

"Sir! Gravity wells forming! They're interfering with our sensors!"

"What? Switch to visual sensors (mk 1 eyeballs and TV cameras)!" The Emperor ordered.

"Sir...looks like a fleet of really, really big ships, bigger than the Sovereign!"

The Emperor whistled. "Boy, they're big. Let's hope they're not bad guys."

"Yes, sir."

Ekhodas StarBase
( In High Earth Orbit )


( As the seen opens you see a tall muscular man in his late thirties standing
in front of a huge picture window. The man is Admiral Montgomery Acott
aboard Ekhodas. He stands there head high and thrown back, his hands
clasped behind his back.
Behind him is the new planetarium like stellar cartography lab. On the virtual wall screen is a grid of the entire sol solar
system that shows all objects within it including starships.
Looking through the picture window the Earth can be seen backdropping
the many starships in its orbit.... Admiral Acott smiles to himself as he sees
the third fleet suddenly uncloak as they enter orbit near Ekhodas.)

"Uh....let's see.....Ok, all Orbitals are deployed facing outwards, away from the sun, so we have coverage against anything attacking from outside the Solar system unless they decide to circle right around us. Even then, we have a few ships patrolling the rest of the Earth, so we should spot them in time to send in some defence ships."
"Excellent. What about the Orbitals combat status?"
"All Orbitals are deployed in groupings of 3, usually with 2 Orbitals between 20Km and 30 Km in size, with a single 45 Km Capital Orbital as well. Apparently, all the Orbitals are ready for combat, and all civilians are in the middle of being evacuated to the ground. We're sending transports to the Antartica base, and a large city is being deployed there for the civilians. Quite simply Sir, we've got about half our nation on Earth now, for the most part armed and ready, whilst anyone who can handle a gun, pilot a ship, or man a turret is defending the Orbitals. It seems a large quantity of civilians have been handed small arms to help defend the station if we're boarded. For the most part, they've been given the minimum of training to stop them from shooting themselves in the foot, but that's about it."
"Excellent. Last of all, what is the status of the Antartica base's defenses?"
"Sir, the base is on full alert. We've got the entire sensor suite down there. Quite simply, we can detect individual specks of dust right now Sir. Also, the space borne Sensor satellites have been launched, so they'll have advanced warning of an Orbital attack. Also, the civilians who couldn't handle guns to defend the station are down there. They're getting basic training from the men stationed a the base, but it's unlikely they'll pose much threat to a trained attack force."
"Very well. Tell all Orbitals to stay on high alert, and to keep ALL their fleets in space. If one of the Orbitals is taken out by a sudden attack, I don't want an entire fleet going down with it."
"Aye Sir, relaying the order now."

OOC: How near are your Orbitals to my Space Tower? It is situated in the Eastern Pacific at the equator. It's about 500 miles from the North/South American landmass.

I am asking because about half of my space forces are near that location.

OOC: Due to severe time constraints I might be unable to participate actively in this RP... But this being my first...I am considering whether to leave, or to only post once in a blue moon. I'll update all of you when I have the time again, gomen nasai, minna-san! (Sorry everybody!)

Balrogga, chances are, you've got 3-6 Orbitals plus their fleets closing in on you as we speak. They're probably gonna be mighty pissed when they see you, and remember one more thing. There are, in fact, 58 Orbitals in my fleet, not 57, but yet again, that last Orbital is still missing. The name of it is Phage, and has been missing since the very beginning of the RP. It should be fun to show ye what I have in mind with it. Just remember this: Subvecto Bombs, Void Cannons, and.....*Drum Roll*....High Yield Void Ships (AI are a fugging godsend.)

[EDIT]: Oh, and i'll let you make the reaction to my Orbitals closing in on you Balrogga, rather than posting their attack, since I have no idea what's at your Space Tower, or even what the size and shape of the Tower itself is.

You've got 3 Orbitals after you. The 20Km I Blame Your Mother, the 23Km I Thought You Were Someone Else, and the 45Km I Was In The Neighbourhood.

This (http://www.kitsune.addr.com/Rifts/Rifts-PW-Vehicles/UWW_Ultima_Battle.jpg)is a picture of one of the Earliest Orbitals of my race, the Last Gamble, in combat with one of the many beasts of Subvecto, that wait for unsuspecting ships to pass by before devouring them. It was a mere 2Km in size, but it's basic design is the blueprint for all my modern designs. Simply, Orbitals today are much larger versions of this.

(Please note, the large guns on that ship aren't changed much in size, instead, there are merely many, MANY more of them, along with the similarly shaped Void Cannons.)

Also, signals have been sent to the 9 Orbitals nearest them, which are proceeding to the Space Tower using normal engines, rather than Subvecto drive. The Space Fleet of each Orbital has docked for the time being, but will launch upon arriving in the vicinity of the Space Tower.

I'll post the fleet's contents once they launch.

The top of the Space Mountain was a 10 KM orbital city called Babylon 1 before it was built up during construction so it can be seen and noticed quite easily. Anyone with a degree of technology from earth should know of it's existance, especially since Seph foolishly attacked it and was driven away.

IC:

"This is Babylon 1 calling invader orbitals. Do not approach Babylon space. Doing so could be interpreted as an act of war. I repeat, do not intrude into our area. We will not allow you to divide Earth into your own petty kingdoms. This is your last warning.”

The communications operator turned to the officer in charge.

“I hope that works.”

“I doubt it. These invaders don’t listen to reason. If they continue toward us or attempt any offensive action, warn the Serendipity and call a Code Red. Request a Space Minus Power Tap and warn civilians to take cover.”

The Officer turned to the Tower Defense Officer.

“Get the Global Defense Network operational but keep them in Stealth Mode. If they attack, I want you to damage or destroy as many as we can in one attack. Be sure the Torq Drives are prepped and Shields are full. Block all incoming sensor attempts.

He then walked over to the Sensor station.

“Get any and all sensor reading upon them. I want thermal, visual, electromagnetic, gravimetric, radar, mass, and energy reading upon them. I want to know how their weapons work. I want to know how their shields work. I want to know their engines. I want to see how their toilets flush. I want to know their orbitals inside and out. I want targets of weakness located. I want surprise on our side, not theirs.

The officer finally turned to the Harbor Control.

“Alert the fleet. I want all ships in a defensive formation with full battle readiness. This Is a level 5 alert.”

"....SIR! Incoming signal!" shouted the Comms Officer.
"Oh?," inquired Calgar, "What does it say?"
"It seems that the tower the Invaders have been using is....what the hell!?"

"They're.....identifying a group of our Orbitals as the Invaders, and warning them off....."
"Interesting....have the Orbitals hold position, but get the fleets launched and all weapons systems online. I want shields, heavy weapons, point defence, everything. If they overeact before we can find out what's going on, we need to be ready."
"Aye Sir, and how should I tell the Orbitals to respond to the.....ok, seems that they're 'Balroggans'."
"Tell them....tell them to say 'we come in peace'. That should raise a few eyebrows."
"Aye Sir."

A light shines in the side of a mountain in a small, secluded reigon of china.
A robed figure emerges, the sound of werring coming from underneath the robes. As he turns, two small green lights shine from under the hood.
'Yes, this world will suffice. But first in must be purged, in the name of the god it will be cleansed.' Said the mettalic voice emerging from the hood.

Hundreds of small spider like constructs, each no bigger than a palm, emerged from the light behind the figure and began to raise strange structures from the ground, with seemingly no materials....

A new player had moved onto the board........

OOC: I know this may be a little late but I accidently put it in the OOC board earlier. I just thought this may spice it up a bit.

Hordes of the technarids poured over the land, scouring it for recources. those fools were concentrated so much in space, they would not be so prepared for an attack on thier soft underbelly.
The mechanical mark spread further at an astonishing rate.....

"Your Majesty?"

"Yes?" The Emperor replied

"There seems to be something odd in the Chinese region. Looks like mechanicals spreading."

"Really? Detach a company and a couple of starfighters to check it out. If it looks like another one of the invaders' tricks, let me know."

"Yes sir!"

A Marine assault barge and a couple of X-wings were sent to the Chinese region, and landed at a clear spot to check out the mechanical objects as the fighters flew overhead.

"Man, look at all that metal! It's like replicators from that show." one pilot said.

"Yeah."

The marines fanned out, trying to ascern the intent of the mechanicals.

As the marines searched the forest, a group of them who were searching east noticed something.
'Sarge, come and look at this' A corparal said.
A tiny spidery creature was standing on a freshly killed panda, flesh still warm. It was stanging upright on three legs, using the other three to project small beams over the corpse. But where the beams touched it did not burn, where the burns should be the flesh simply dissapeared leaving a tiny vally in the skin of the panda.
The spider stopped as one of the soldiers came near, gave off a beeping noise, and scuttled off.
'Dammit Jones, you scared it off.' the angry seargent said to the soldier
But then a few more of the tiny mettalic creatures scurried around the edges of the group.
'Um, sarge?' The same soldier poked the sergent.
'Hmm?'
'They're back.'
Now swarms of the creatures were surrounding the group, but then one side of the blockade opened up, and a robed man stepped through.
'Ah! you must be the dominant life on this planet.' He said heartily, his voice with a strange ring to it..
'I congratulate you gentlemen, your planet been chosen!' The figure cast off his cloak, revealing him not to be a man, but an android of those proportions in the garb similar to that of a monk's.
'I believe it is accustomed on your planet to place lit cylinders of dead plant in your mouths yes?' The android brought up his hand as it was glowing an unearthly blue, and a perfect cigarett materialised in his palm. He then lit it with a snap of his fingers that produced a spark.
He gave it to the bemused sergent then he turned round and gestured to the forest.
'A fine planet, you should be proud of it. It has many materials for our needs. Nevertheless, you will have to evacuate the planet in, oh, four days, past that I cannot ensure the safety of your people.

OOC: sorry if I may have taken control of the marines for a sec, I forgot.
Oh, and this does not represent my nation as it is practically in the stone age, I'm just giving something to the defenders to attack.

A tiny spidery creature was standing on a freshly killed panda, flesh still warm. It was stanging upright on three legs, using the other three to project small beams over the corpse. But where the beams touched it did not burn, where the burns should be the flesh simply dissapeared leaving a tiny vally in the skin of the panda.
The spider stopped as one of the soldiers came near, gave off a beeping noise, and scuttled off.

'I congratulate you gentlemen, your planet been chosen!' The figure cast off his cloak, revealing him not to be a man, but an android of those proportions in the garb similar to that of a monk's.
'I believe it is accustomed on your planet to place lit cylinders of dead plant in your mouths yes?' The android brought up his hand as it was glowing an unearthly blue, and a perfect cigarett materialised in his palm. He then lit it with a snap of his fingers that produced a spark.
He gave it to the bemused sergent then he turned round and gestured to the forest.
'A fine planet, you should be proud of it. It has many materials for our needs. Nevertheless, you will have to evacuate the planet in, oh, four days, past that I cannot ensure the safety of your people.

'Yes sir, the ships that entered the area through the warp jumps have made planetfall down onto various reigons of the surface. Structures are being built around the landed ships are being built at an exponential rate.
They dont seem to be interested in blockading the planet, although they did make a scan of all the stations and ships in orbit before they made planetfall.

If I remember correctly, hyperspace gates won't function in a strong gravitational field. That is how a FTLi works. It keeps the FTL drives from operating while within the gravitational field.

OOC- Basically I received lots of fun future-tech defense cannons from Kormanthor. Samtonia was busy setting them up while you were all maneouvering to attack one another. Now we've got them linked and firing up AO's backside. I have no idea on stats, go ask Kormanthor for 'em. I'd simply assume some type of really big turbo-laser type thing.

And yes, they are on routes designed to avoid the ISDs if they miss. We're not that dumb.

OOC: Hello, here's a message to let all know that I'm still in the game. There's a brief respite (today!) that's why I'm able to post. I know I am in a bizarre position as far as the invaders are concerned but I started this way and I will finish it the same way. I won't let anyone else take over Earth but I want nukes far away.

Actually I am wanting to use this thread or whatever thread we use for Dark Masters to introduce / update Kormanthor's relationship with the
Triadian Federation of the Nelchizedeke Cluster / Andromeda Galaxy.
The Triadian Federation has been a lifes hobby for me... it is a collection
of widely ranging solar systems that are located in the same region of space.
I have spent many years just creating differant types of planets & peoples there to fill up that space and now would like to share my creations with others.

OCC: I agree, I would like to see nukes disappear from NS too, more then that I would like to see all the nations of the RL world truely get rid of all the nukes that exist, then destroy the technology needed to build more. Yes that includes the nukes that the US has, after all you can't tell someone do as I say not as I do. Do I believe it will happen anytime soon? No I don't see it happpening because there are to many people who believe they need them to remain safe. Then there are the ones who truely intend to use them for world domination.

As the seen opens you see a tall muscular man in his late thirties standing
in front of a huge picture window. The man is Admiral Montgomery Acott
aboard Ekhodas Star Base. He stands there head high and thrown back, his hands clasped behind his back looking outside.
Behind him is the planetarium like stellar cartography lab. On the virtual wall screen is a grid of the entire sol solar system that shows all objects within it including the 5 unknown defiant class vessels that just entered Earth orbit adding to the already somewhat crowded area what with the Second Fleet
hanging out their waiting for the other shoe to drop. Looking through the picture window the Earth can be seen backdropping the many starships in its orbit. He smiles to himself as he watches the Kor Fleet Engineers & Technicians finish up fastning the new
Space Elevator to the redesigned ventral section of Synapse Gate: Entrance to the Universe! Kormanthors Earth Orbital City.
He smiled because now all countries of the world could have inexpensive
access to Earth Orbit, and it made him proud that it was his great country
that had decided to provide them that opportunity. But then again he felt
just as proud of Esmos " EarthKore StarBase Multiplex Orbital Star Gate, the
latest orbital facility addition to Kor Fleet. He watched as starships of every
description lined up to await their turn to be transported to their distant destinations.
Off in the distance he saw the PepsiCo Casio Starship entering Earth orbit on her way to Synapse Gate. That class of starship he remembered was Kormanthor's first success at building an actual starship, although she was
more like a space going las vegas hotel / casio combination. Of course she had
been redesigned, refitted & upgraded many times in the course of her long life time and was the predecessor of a whole class of starships that now travelled the known universe providing entertainment to the masses.
Well enough goofing off he had to start the ball rolling on Kormanthors biggest venture to date ... building a Ring World.

A man is his late 20's is sitting in a captain chair, he says... "Hailing frequencies open in 2 minutes," and starts to look at his officer's faces, "We will set up colony on the planet surface, attempt to find the place with conditions most similar to MassencDreieck (Earth Delta). We shall set down there, and bring the civilians there. Understood?"

The entire crew replies, "Yes sir!"

"Hailing frequences now open, sir!" the Communications officer states.

"This is the HRB Redefined 1A, Grand Admiral Bob-sama of Delta operations in BB233-C471-I48 (Current Universe, Alpha Centuri C, MassencDreieck (Earth Delta... planet slightly bigger than earth, but much colder)). Our Katana Orbiting Satellite detected high nuclear presence on this planet, and came to... reinfore... the situation. My scouting sector will land in approximately 30 standards. (about 50 minutes... 1 Standard = 100 seconds)"


"Thank you admiral, but it is already under control, as the United State's Nuclear Arsenal is under control. Your help is not needed."

"I will land even if it's under control."

"Are you sure, Admiral, won't your leader make you take permanent leave?"

"No, you fool! I am the leader! We will land in 28 standards. Hailing frequencies close."

Before the channel closes, the commander says, "You shall not... (Static, frequencies just closed)"


Less than an hour later, 3 of 5 Defiant Class vessels set down on a cold area, called New York by it's inhabitants...

The Grand Admiral says, "Call in the rest of the fleet, we will keep them in orbit, and have the ships in standby with transporters ready to beam down colonists. Soon, our oldest colonization ship, the HRB Enriched will come in with some regional leaders of MassencDreieck. This will also carry the bulk of the colonists.

AS many people see 5 small ships no threat, what the sensors cannot see is 45 more Defiant Class vessels coming into orbit fully cloaked, preparing to join the other 5. (This fleet is not seen by any sensors, past, present, or future).





(Each defiant class takes 5 colonists (5 colonists * 50 ships = 250 colonists), and the HRB Enriched takes 100 more along with it)

A Star Destroyer loomed over the surface of Earth, one of the fleet that has already left, concluding their battle.

Captain Zachary Daniels is 35 years old, and his hair's already graying due to the stress of war. His aide, Jedi Knight Falor Hanal stretches out with the Force.

"Captain." a sensor officer said. "We're detecting five Defiant-class ships heading into orbit."

"Any signs of hostility?"

"No sir."

"Very well. Keep an eye on them."

Falor, however, has sensed a few more than five Defiants. Or rather, the life signs inside the several dozen ships.

"Captain, can you boost your tachyon scanners to...this location?" He pointed to a part of space, seemingly empty.

"Sure." He nodded to the officer, who increased the power of the scanners to maximum. "Uh, sir? There's something real...faint. We would have missed them without you."

"You're welcome."

OOC: No cloaking device is unbeatable. 'sides, there's no defense against psychic scanners. :p

OOC: I know, what I meant was that it was nearly impossible to penetrate... I might get a star destroyer in here... compliments of my old friend... I had a feeling someone would do something like this.

Ensign Ron Fredrics, the science officer aboard the HRB Chaosmaker says, "Captain! We have recieved a scan signal by Cloaking sensor."

Commander William Thomas Riker looks over to his science officer, and says, "What is the cloak device's current power?"

Ensign Fredrics replies, "47%, sir, should I raise power?"

Comander W. Riker says, "Yes, raise power to 60%. Notify the rest of the fleet by the Tide-Pulse program (gravity simulators pull on the planet, Earth, and causes a small tide in a selected location: the Bermuda Triange). Keep cloaking poewr at 60%, and move postion to above Montana."

"Yes-sir!" Ensign gets right on it.

Tide-Pulse online. Transmitting... 1 of 20... 2 of 20... 3 of 20... two standards later, 19 of 20... 20 of 20. Tide-Pulse shutdown.

A few moments later, the pulses are detected by SCU (Stealth Communications Unit) on the rest of the fleet, and the cloaking devices power up to 60%, making it, once again, invisible to scans.

(fake transmition) "Captain! Abandon stealth program!" (four ships appear on full radar, and appear to head home)

"They've disappeared, and our scanners are at maximum."

"Jedi Falor?" The captain arched an eyebrow.

"Still sensing them...I'll let you know if there's any hostile intentions. So far, there seems to be none."

"Very well, thank you." Daniels said, then smirked. "Anyone up for some poker?"

Suddenly, four ships reappeared on sensors.

"Sir, we got a royal flush, and I don't mean the cards! Four contacts!"

"Hail them!"

"This is the Star Destroyer Megalodon! State your intentions!"

For the first time, a cloaked ship has been seen, and as precautions, 10 more Defiant Class vessels are launched, however, these have more powerful cloaking, and are controled by AI. They are all much like Data, robots in human-like bodies, with intelligence chips.



In other news, Bob-sama has called for his personal Star Destroyer.

The flagship of the entire military, the HRB Accent, has been launched from Starbase. A worm-hole generator will be carried upon the 102nd largest vessel (I was given a single Death Star 2, and 100 Death Star (originals) by an old friend) for a worm-hole between galaxies.

OOC: You do realize I will ignore the Death Stars if they come in. There is no way you'd be able to maintain 100 Death Stars, much less one. Besides, only one person on Nationstates has a Death Star, and it's Unified Sith.

Intentions are to reinforce Moon Base, and resupply the Greatest Lord Bob-sama. Supplies are being transported now.

There is space for 35 to sleep, and Bob-sama uses a holodeck (that is only on that one ship, but not any Defiant Class, and this is a different version, it has 6 levels, and is slightly larger) to sleep.

A new day arises, as Bob-sama steps out of his ship. The defiant class he rode on was uncloaked, and he had the intention of setting up colony. The crisp, cold air was just a small sample of what winter is like in an area such as these. Stretching out, Leader walks around, and then returns to his ship. He can tell that this would be a perfect spot to build a colony.

"Beam me on, Lieutenant."

"Yes sir!"

Am instant later, Bob-sama was in the ship's Teleport room. He promptly takes the turbo-lift to the bridge. "Commander Sylla, open comm link to the HRB Accent."

"Yes sir!" Sylla responds.

/HRB Accent (super-Star Destroyer (like Darth Vader's))/

Jedi Masters (yes, I use jedi, too, all from an old friend...) Frantum (M), Beyda (M), and Sivley (F) are standing on the bridge of their leader's personal Star Destroyer.

Frantum says, "Comm link open... Hello, o great one!"

"Enough, I want my Star Destroyer into this galaxy as soon as possible, okay?"

"Yes, sir, we will leave in one hundred standards."

"Sooner if you can, I need reinforcement, and take those four Defiant Class vessels that left, and pull them into the docking bay. If you can, deploy other ships to meet with them. Understood?"

"Yes, sir, understood. We will leave shortly. Expect us in about two thousand standards."

"Okay, and bring as many other vessels that you can take with you, include the Galaxy Class ship, and about four other Star Destroyers."

"Yes sir!"

"Comm link close."

Sivley looked at the faces of her long-time friends, seeing how they were nervous, she decided to be beamed over to the jedi temple. She would lead a single ship, the HRB Jedi Cruiser Leader, full of the best Jedi in the entire temple... she would leave with the HRB Accent.




OCC: Excuse me but don't you think you should ask permission to land on an
inhabited alien planet. The land you plan to colonize is owned by someone, even if it is the the Catskill Mountains. That owner will most likely take a dim view of your claiming his / her land. Think about it ... how would you feel if the roles were reversed?

O, and another thing, did the Europeans who colonized America ask permission to take the Native American's land? I don't think so... maybe a few did, but most just took it because they wanted it... and I want these mountains.

Dude .... I could have blown your pitiful fleet to rat ____ at anytime &
still can with very little effort, as could a number of my associates. Normally you engage the orbiting forces in an invasion and win before you land on the planet. You don't just ignore them.

The American Indians didn't have the technology we possess either or it
would most likely turned out differant.

force against the aliens. Fire station phasers on the alien ships in the Catskill Mountains, but try to limit lateral damage to the surrounding environment.
This authorization covers any alien vessel/s that might appear to avenge
their soon to be dead associates in the Catskills. All staion weaponry may be

The debacle that shook the entire PLANT just a few months ago cause a tremendous change. All of the Coordinators were shocked that their proud fleet was defeated by the Naturals, even before they reached Planet Earth. It was unthinkable. Of course, the blame fell onto Gryzlov and his men, for deciding to retreat. Still Chairman Kimura Kouichi as well as his Defence Minister, were affected, and everyone belonging to the old administration were booted out of their positions. A new chairman, a certain Gilberto Durandal, was elected.

The people were still saddened, and enraged over the events that led to the destruction of Junius Seven. Gilberto had no choice, but to promise the people that he would rid the Naturals of their weapon of destruction - Nuclear power.

And so, with the development of newer technology, the Anime-Otakus once again sent out an expedition.

A few hours later...

Captain Talia Gladys looked around the bridge, at her crew, which were handpicked from among the best of the best, to take part in this mission. She climbed down the short staircase, and slid onto her command couch.

"What's the status of our launch preparations?"

"Kan-chou (Captain), all of our systems are in the green. Control has just reported in ready for launch." replied the Comms Officer, Petty Officer Second Class Meyrin Hawke.

"The remainder of the fleet?"

"The fleet has assembled outside Januarius One and is awaiting our arrival."

"Very well. Issue the alert, Condition Red, prepare for launch."

Klazons sounded, and red sirens flashed throughout the ship as it was readied for launch. Crewmen scurried from place to place, finishing up the last bits of their jobs. Outside, in the docking bay, the technicians disconnected the last of the APU power cables, as well as the temporary support struts.

"LSM-BB01 Minerva, this is Control. You are clear for launch. All redundant personnel, please leave the launch area. Gate systems are online, your power readouts are in the green. Horizawa Team B, please launch and act as observer for this operation.

The announcement was repeated several times, and finally, it happened. The large, 100-foot gate underneath the Minerva opened. Slowly, the pressure equalised, and the Minerva dropped down into the weightlessness of space.

"Engines engage, full throttle! Deploy the wings!"

"Aye aye Ma'am! Engines all full throttle, wings deployed!"

As soon as the Minerva left the spaceport, and the confines of the PLANT, her wins deployed, and her HEPLAR drives flared as she headed upwards and away from the PLANT colony to join up with the other twenty-two ships in the fleet.

"Message all ships on fleetcomm, ask them to check in. Orders shall be given shortly."
