It was just like any other day in The Holy Empire of Icurio. God Himself, King Charles Brontius III woke up and went about his daily routine. He put on a robe and went to the bath house. Here he was first greeted by James, his head slave, and was given the morning breifing by the Minister of Security. "Thanks Paul." His Majesty said to the Minister. Inside the bath house, His Majesty took off his robe and went into the hot tub. Here he was scrubbed ritualistically, by beautiful slave women, in accordance to the traditions of The National Church of Icurio. James came into the bath house to deliver His Majesty his breakfast of scrambled eggs. As His Majesty was bathing James seemed to be acting funny. "Something wrong James?" Asked His Majesty. But James didn't answer he just broke down crying. "Oh come on what's wrong?" It was only a few seconds after His Majesty uttered these words that James pulled out a 9 mm pistol and shot King Charles in the stomach. His Majesty fell against the wall of his hot tub and stared at his murderer in disbelief. "They made me do it sir!" James yelled as he ran out of the bath house. Peter, the King's main body gaurd, hearing the shot ran into the bath house with his gun drawn. He met James in the middle of the hallway and put three bullets into the slave's chest. Once again James said the words "They made me do it!" But then, he was dead. Peter ran into the hot tub room to see His Majesty dead in the tub with the slave girls running all around screaming. Immediatley he drew out his walkie-talkie. "I need a medic!" He said sobbing. "God is dead!" Later during the day, the crowned prince, Edward Brontius issued this statement.
Ladies and Gentlemen, as you all have probably heard by now, King Charles Brontius III was pronounced dead at 8:00 this morning. Although the bullet was fired by my father's slave, we have reason to believe that the real perpatrators were the left wing terrorist group, Revolution Now. We call upon the international community to help us in this time of need to smoke out the terrorist menace that is Revolution Now. As they are an international organization that is based in Icurio, the war against them should start here. We need all the help we can get. In accordance with the law of the church,the next 5 years shall be years of mourning and all citizens are required to act accordingly. I shall don The Robes of the Christ in an open coronation ceremony at noon tomorrow. All friendly foreign dignitaries are welcome to attend. God's funeral shall be held at 6:00 tomorrow night. It will be open to the public as well as any friendly dignitaries. Thank You, and good night.
