AP: From TNN (Texarkania News Network)

Today the countries of Norleans and Texarkania announced the merger of their state run oil and gas companies under the new name of "Norleans Offshore Oil & Gas Exploration and Extraction Systems, Inc. (NOOGEES, Inc.) This merger brings together the 2 most powerful oil producing regions in the southern portion of North America and encompasses the bulk of all offshore oil production in the Gulf of Mexico as well as the extensive oil fields of northern, southern and western Texas. The complete merger of their respective production will result in a company that is pumping approximately
5,533,260 barrels of oil per day and an estimated 24,657,840,000 cubic feet of natural gas per day with substantial reserves still to be tapped, NOOGEES stands to be one of the most powerful corporations in the NS world to date. Luckily for the NS World, Norleans and Texarkania are ruled by democratic methods and are generally friendly to the free world. With estimated profits of $10,663,698,672.00/year from its oil production alone (estimates on natural gas production profits were not available at the time of the report), the impact on the economies of the Southern Half of the North American Continent and the two countries cannot be underestimated. The countries have announed their intent to offer stock in the company on the LSE exchange and is currently selling crude for $33.00/barrel. Since the company is state run and owned and can hence avoid significant taxes and government restriction, epxert analysts estimate the company has a 16% net profit margin making it an outstanding investment opportunity when its IPO is announced in the near future.

OOC: While I you may pump that much oil, you will deplete your reserves in approximatly 7.8 years. YMJOC has also bought out many of the smaller oil companines in your area Thread (http://forums2.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?t=349985)

OOC EDIT: And not to be mean but you being one of "most powerful corporations in the NS world to date" you pale in comparison to YMJOC. Me make trillions each year.

IC: NOOGEES Inc has been invited into the formally named YMJOC conglomerate. It must be noted you shall benifet from increased profits and will still be part of the governing process. (you guys will get seats in our board)

OOC: As I read the thread, you control a nice portion of South America's production, but nothing in North America at all and you barely touch the Gulf. As to the depletion of our reserves, my figures are based on historical and projected RL production capabilities of the area and I respectfully disagree with your 7.8 year depletion number. By my calculations, we can keep up the stated current production levels for 13-15 years until production will drop significantly due to reserve depletion. In that time we will (obviously) be looking to develop new reserves and production facilities. For example, in 1972, during the height of their oil "power" Texas was producing in excess of 1.5 billion barrels of oil/year from the Permian and related basins alone. Offshore operations were unheard of at that time due to the land based drillings. Bottom line, I don't think my figures are so outside the range of possibility as to constitute a "god mod" in this area. Bottom line, if you'll accept in RP that my production level can remain at this level for 13.6 years (seemed like a nice number), I'll go along with your projections regarding drop off of production after that time. OK?

OOC EDIT: And not to be mean but you being one of "most powerful corporations in the NS world to date" you pale in comparison to YMJOC. Me make trillions each year.
OOC: I know, but we've got to pump up enthusiasm (pun intended) for our IPO on the L.S.E. stock exchange.

IC: NOOGEES Inc has been invited into the formally named YMJOC conglomerate. It must be noted you shall benifet from increased profits and will still be part of the governing process. (you guys will get seats in our board)
IC: We are very interested in this idea. Please supply us with more information such as how many board seats will we receive, how many total board members are there, your policies and procedures for regulation, production control and regulation, etc. We don't wish to give up complete control over our industry at this time, but we are willing to consider the idea of a wholly owned subsidiary corporation idea and we are more than willing to consider any ideas you may have that will maximize our and your profits and control over the world oil market.

Rowanoke:

Please see our information posted regarding the possibility of trading stock in NOOGEES, Inc. at the L.S.E. stocks thread. However, we are willing to offer you, as our ally and friend, a direct and automatic 5% stake in the company. At an IPO price of $72.00/share with 450,000,000 shares for sale, out of 1 billion shares authorized, that works out to $3,600,000,000.00 if that is OK with you, please let us know and we'll ensure the IPO is handled properly to ensure your stake.

We find this arrangement more than acceptable and hope that our investment will benifit both of our nations. If you require any assistance in your drilling operations or nay other sector of the company, please do not hesitate to ask.

IC/OOC: You will recive 2 seats as there is only one seat per company in the congolmerate. CR, the unofficial head of YMJOC, has a Windows Msger account. His email is ikranoplan2@hotmail.com.

OOC/IC: OK, but that doesn't answer the questions my puppet asked (sorry, I'm logged on as Mauiwowee, but Rowanoke/Wirraway will verify Norleans is my puppet) Will you accept our (Norleans') projections regarding production? Also, I don't use messenger, AIM or any other IM program (the reasons are unimportant, just suffice it to say I hate IM), but I'll send an e-mail to your "leader" I just have to ask though, why doesn't your "leader" post on NS and/or use the NS Telegram setup? Can you give me any additional info. about the conglomerate? I'm still interested (well, Norleans is) but we want more info. 2 seats on the board makes sense, but how many are on the board total? etc.

1) Ditto our ally and partner, Norleans.

2) Zambuda, let me speak with Norleans and we'll get back to you. We might be able to arrange a deal similar too (but not quite as favorable) as the one we have worked with our ally and region member, Rowanoke.

OOC: Well that projection is based on What mexico has now, who knows their might be more reserves waiting to be found ;) I got thos figures froma National Geographic that was issued in June.

How many seats in the board? I'll have to ask CR (Communist Rule BTW) how many companies we actually have right now. But only about 6 of them are active.

OOC: OK, well I'll contact CR and see what he says.

IC:BTW, there will be 20 members of our board of directors. Owning 5% of the total outstanding shares will be enough to get you on at the outset. Whether you remain will depend on the stock holders. (Rowanoke, I assume you want a seat with your 5% stake). As we will be retaining 55% of the authorized stock ourselves we will have 11 members. New Zambuda, after consulting with Texarkania we've decided that we'll offer you the same deal we offered Rowanoke with the exception being the cost per share to you will be $75.00 for a total cost of $3,750,000,000.00. If that is acceptable, place the money in an escrow account and we'll ensure you get your shares at the IPO

The board of directors of NOOGEES wishes to announce that the IPO opened today on the LSE Stock Exchange (http://forums2.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?t=355205) where our symbol is NOOG. We have also joined the YMJOC headed by Communist Rule and obtained two seats on its board of directors and a 10% ownership interest in the comglomerate. Please post your investment wishes here. As it stands at this time, on 350,000,000 shares of stock remain available. Price per share will be per the L.S.E. Board's value.

As the country that ensured the safe creation of Norleans and negotiated the alliance on your behalf with the other countries of the Southern Alliance, we demand 2 seats on the board of directors and a 10% stake in the company. We will pay you the $72.00/share opening price for 10,000,000 share of NOOGEES (see, we're not unreasonable, just demanding).

Sincerely,
King 'Lude II
