"Today, at 16:55 standard military time, three nations agreed to a permanent alliance." The slim, brunette news anchor says in a serious voice. "The new alliance consists of The Republic of Airknights (http://www.nationstates.net/cgi-bin/index.cgi/48612/page=display_nation/nation=airknights) , The Republic of Archangel_666 (http://www.nationstates.net/cgi-bin/index.cgi/48612/page=display_nation/nation=archangel_666) , and our very own Raptorian Federation. (http://www.nationstates.net/cgi-bin/index.cgi/48612/page=display_nation/nation=raptorian_federation) This treaty was agreed by all 3 of the Nations Leaders. We now take you live, to where our gracious leader, Rapion, addresses the people." The picture switches to Rapion, dressed in his dark green general's armor, standing on the balcony of the Raptorian Palace. "People of the Raptorian Federation!" He booms with his triumphant voice into the microphone. "I have gathered you all to bring forth great news! I, General Rapion, leader of the Raptorian people, have just signed a permanent treaty with the leaders of our two neighbors; The Republic of Airknights, and The Republic of Archangel_666. We have agreed to back each other in times of peace and war. We are now eternal allies." Rapion took a bow as the citizens cheered.

A Raptorian soldier shoves a fresh ammunition clip into his standard issue Shock Rifle. It enters with a satisfying "click" followed by a shrill "Power up" sound. The guard gave a bit of a smirk. He had heard the news on the loudspeaker. He was also informed he'd be getting a new partner to help him guard the checkpoint. Personally, he didn't care who his new partner was, it was nice to have someone to talk to. He heard the sound of marching in the distance, it must be the Airknights 1st Infantry come to greet their new allies. He stood at attention until the commanding officer of that squad said sternly, "At ease soldier". The Raptorian exhaled and put his Shock Rifle back in its holder. The gates opened to let the marching Airknights through. It was the beginning of a new era.
