7 carrier planes were hijacked from Canada this morning and are heading for various countries around the world.

This is Chief Nagura head of C-Ton's International Affairs.

We have already captured the leader of the Canadian Terrorist group called the Foundation.
We have sent him to the world court today to stand trial for his terrorist organization The Foundation.

Of these 7 planes 4 of them were recovered due to the cooperation of the passengers with the Terrorists. The Foundation Martyrs take Cyanide pills if their immediate victims vow to believe in one God and pray to him 5 times a day.

We found plans on board these 4 planes. Their targets will be announced soon. (anyone want to role play a target)

And the 3 planes are packed with Explosives and headed for their unknown targets (anyone want to role play a target).

C-Ton is doing everything they can to destroy this terrorist organization, and warns of cells popping up in other countries where support grows high.

Early in the morning the sounds of people getting up for work could be heard as the day began. Suddenly a ray from the sun burst from the horizon smashing into the beatiful marble buildings that made up the city of Drex, the capital of Telliria. The beauty had drawn millions over the many years to view it. For now things were in a nice circle of peace.

But it would not last.

At 6:45 AM an unidentified civillian aircraft entered Drex Airspace.
At 6:52 AM scrambled fighters reached the craft which did not respond to any calls for it to land.
At 6:54 AM tradgey struck Telliria. Before the fighters could act the craft suddely swung itself into the path of the fighters, smashing into one. The lumbering civilian craft carried on, obviously dying. Falling quickly it aimed itself straight at the heart of Tellirian religion, the United Church of Telliria. The craft remains of the craft slammed into the building which was is always open and usually alwasy has a group of people in it. Even worse, the exposion sent shards of marble everywhere, and some larger pieces crushed the buildings around them.

Its not 7:10 AM and the Tellirian goverment is scrambling to find out what this unwarranted attck was about. Firefighters are trying to put out small blazes while Defenders have arrived and charged into the building to find surivivers.

Currently some 34 dead have been found and some unknown amount on the plane. Around 386 have been identified as injured.

ooc: I'd like to be the target of one of these planes because my leader just made a big deal about how Sdaeriji is "immune" to terrorism in another thread and I'm RPing his downfall.

It was calm clear morning in the capital of Whittier. The morning rush hour had shut down the Capital One bridge, the biggest bridge in East Whittier. At exactly 7 am, there were 1200 vehicles making their way across the bridge. Some of them drinking coffee, talking on their cell phones. One fellow trying to find a cigarrette he'd dropped.
In a red toyota corrolla a couple were arguing about something, but you couldn't make out their words. Just that they were having some kind of lovers spat.
A couple of cars down, another couple was passionately making out.
In front of them was a school bus full of children on their way to school. There were 12 buses on this bridge waiting to get across.
The Metropolitan Buses were packed with people on their way to work this morning.
Unfortunately, none of them would arrive at their destination.
Ted Bunzinsky, a raoucous 8 year old had been watching airplanes from the backseat passenger window. His eyes got big as one of the planes began gettting lower and lower.
"Mommy mommy, that plane is falling."
"Its just landing at the airport sweetie." came his mother's reply. There a small airport nearby.
"Mommy I think its going to land on the bridge."
"Don't be silly..." Mrs. Bunzinsky's mouth dropped. The plane was headed straight for the bridge. She jumped out of car, ran around to the other side, and yanked the door open grabbing her son. They began running to get off the bridge. Other drivers noticed and soon everyone was jumping out their cars, running but it was too late.
At 7:07 AM a unidentified civilian 747 crashed in to the Capital One Bridge during morning rush hour. It is estimated that 87% of those who were on the bridge were killed instantly.
The collision and the following explosion violently violated the calm morning air sending huge shockwaves downtown and uptown, shattering glass in shops the seriously injured the occupants of the buildings and people on the street.
One poor fellow had the misfortune of being in the wrong place at the wrong time when one of the peices flew from across the street, slashing through his throat, severing his head from his body.
At 7:08, the paramedics were on the way and the national airline safety board was on the way to conduct its investigation.
Ten minutes later, 12 F16's flew right over the area. They had just missed their target.

We formally appologise to the nations of EastWitter, Telliria, and Sdaeriji for the devastating attacks on their sovereign soil.

We also appologise for the 4 other airplanes that agreed to beleive in God and pray to him 5 times a day. Even though these terrorists commited suicide with cyanide pills and no civilians were harmed (except for an elderly heart failure). (ooc - we still need the 4 targets that were spared).

C-Ton's extremist organization, The Foundation, has been infiltrated and the leader will stand trial in 3 days.

We will bring this organization to justice and hope that no Foundation cells begin to form in other countries around the world. We are still trying to eliminate the other cells in countries around Canada.

A unmarked aircraft was makeing its way towards the coast of Coreys Region when it was shot down by AA guns.

After investigateing the scene we noticed it was a passanger aircraft.

I would like to know if this was one of the planes from Canada ?
Also - they were shot down because of the current war in Coreys Region.

The Whittier government has announced its intention to rebuild the Capital One Bridge.
but this time, anti aircraft missiles will be installed around it to prevent future such incidents.

As the hours rolled by in Telliria the death toll mounted as more and more people were found and dragged out and as injured bodies failed to pull through and simply died.

In once case the whole back wall of the church collapsed, killing an unknown amount of people, but an estimated 200 Defenders will not make it out alive. An estimate of around 85 people were on the plane.

There is no excuse for haveing terrorist problems like this.

C-Ton is in the process of sending more rescue personel to the terror stricken countries.

Sdaeriji, Telliria, and East Whittier will all receive aid for these horrible actions.

As for Coreys Region, we have no idea what happened but nothing from intelligence indicates that The Foundation had anything to do with this aircraft. Perhaps the communications controls were malfunctioning.

OOC- There are still 4 planes that were saved because the passengers promised to pray to one god 5 times a day. The people from their targets were also saved.

The trial of the Foundation Leader is set and will occur in 2 days time. We welcome any help in prosecution.

All evidence will be presented against him at that time.

Again, C-Ton wishes to appologise for the actions of this terrorist group. We are also proud to announce that since the capture of this leader, foundation cells across C-Ton have been raided and destroyed. There may be a few left, but they will not commit any more terrorist actions. For the moment they are trying to escape the C-Ton defense force.

Solution

Have a logical Debate between sides.
The purpose is to avoid war.

Final Decision will end up being that everyone will beleive in God. UNAVOIDABLE

If war is to be avoided this decision must occur, otherwise it will occur when the earth gets destroyed and we stand judgement against him
Or if the Domination Side wins they will force it upon us,
Or if the Defensive side wins GREAT MIRACLES will have to occur for this option to be reality. Avoiding complete destruction will take several Miracles that will force belief in God.

Therefore every end to this tree will result in a belief in God. The axiom is that God is necissary and belief in him is necissary for us to surpass this point in time.

The Foundation will do all that it can to ensure the belief in God.

But our belief in God is that he has many names. And that Religion was meant to take the truth from all other religions, therefore the truth is a combination of all truths.

A logical debate will occur worldwide to filter the truth from religion and all cultures have the right to work to prove and disprove truth.

Below is a Transcript of a conversation between The Emperor of C-Ton and The leader of The Foundation. It will be labelled Exibit B.

Emperor: I agree with your logical conclusion on the historical tree that something must be done in order to avoid war and the probable destruction of the planet. But I dissagree with your means. You are only supporting the soon to be "Dominating force" as you called it.

Foundation Leader: I agree with your methodology on stopping this catastrophy, but the only solution to our problem is using all possible solutions in combination. This will increase the chance that one of these solutions work.

Emperor: The Foundation will ruin the reputation of C-Ton on an international level if this attack is to be carried out on September 11th and our method will be discredited and all other methods that C-Ton attempts to come up with.

Foundation Leader: Not if our terrorists take the cyanide pill.

Emperor: Can you guarantee that this will occur?

Foundation Leader: I cannot. But you do make a valid point that we are strengthening the views of the Dominating force. But unlike them we give the option of life. Our goal is not terror, but an awakening to life.

Emperor: Perhaps putting your efforts into a film would me more effective. The media holds a large influence on public opinion.

Foundation Leader: This is a good idea, and like I said, all options must be used simultaneously. We will begin production of our film. And since I know this message will be displayed worldwide I would like to take the oportunity to answer the spokesperson of the Children of God from MR. Popo. We do not look to create servents to any one religion, but merely to awaken people. And we will use every venue possible to stop the end of the world.

Emperor: But your faction believes that the entire earth must believe in God for the world to be saved from destruction. This is a very different view than trying to stop the end of the world.

Foundation Leader: Even if we were to change our view, the Dominating force would not. The only way they will concede is if they knew the world believed in God. Therefore we are trying to avoid their threat by easing the process a little more smothly. It is only a matter of time before they get weapons of mass destruction.

Emperor: I am sorry for being so dishonourable, but we have traced your position and have you surrounded. You will stand trial in the World Court for your actions of terror. You are a good man, but I as Emperor cannot allow your actions to continue.

Foundation Leader: I will gladly stand trial. You have made me imortal. The Foundation will live on without me, and the attack on September 11th will occur without my authorisation. Thank you. The only question now is, should I take the red pill or the blue pill.

I am here to represent my defendant.

So lets get started...

Ladies and Gentlemen, there is no case here. This is a good man standing before you. His organization's sole purpose is to stop the end of the world by any means necissary.
Even now Foundation members are being killed and captured. These are actors for a movie project, these are religious experts to try and combine world religion, these are strategists and noble men trying to do anything they can to end the appocalypse.
My client never ordered the death of anyone. He supplied all of his martyrs with cyanide tablets and gave them specific instructions to convince people to believe in God. If you look to exibit A you will see logical proof that the only way to stop the final war is to convince the world into believing in God.

The C-Ton government acknowledges that the end of the world is upon us. And puts it into all of their citizens heads since birth. My client is only doing what he can to help his country. C-Ton believes that the end of war will be accomplished on a political level. They believe in this project of theirs called the Antiwar coalition.
Today I will prove that the head of the foundation was only following government orders, and that he never authorised any terrorist attacks. He only planned and authorized the strategic use of cyanide tablets.

Henry Reynolds: Your Honour, the prossecution would like to submit a new trial process if the defence permits it. We feel that the only witness we need to hear from is the defendant himself. We have lieware to ensure he is being truthful.

We will allow different nations to ask different questions and the foundation leader will answer all questions asked of him.

International court judge: This method seems more suitable as a trial process in this case. I will allow it if there is no objection by the defense.

Nameless Leader: I am no longer the leader. In the case of capture or death, I have left specific instructions for the Foundation to continue operation.

Henry Reynolds: But you do admit to being the leader during the terror attacks overseas and around Canada during the week before and after september 11th.

Nameless Leader: ... O... was that a question? Your grammar needs work Mr. Reynolds, but I do admit to being in charge of the Foundation during those times. :D

Nameless Leader: That is correct. I assume you would like me to elaborate. There is a specific team responsible for coordinating demonstrations. And thank you for permission to call you Mr. Reynolds, but I think I'll stick with Henry, it is a name closer to the level of respect you deserve.

Henry Reynolds: Your honour, please instruct the witness to call me Mr. Reynolds. I have been to law school and I have won 642 cases out of 712; I think I deserve some respect.

International Court Judge: The defendant will please refer to Mr. Reynolds as such.

Nameless Leader: I will comply. I have always found it curious how people stick to names and titles. Why some names have more respect. It is fascinating the attachment we place on these names.
Names, like all words, are just tools. They are used to convey meaning and concepts. As long as you know the meaning behind the words, the words themselves have little significance. The example for this is the improper question that "Mr. Reynolds" used earlier. The sentance was not in the form of a question but the intonation implied that it was one. The meaning of the concept was properly conveyed.
So, although instructing me to use a specific word to convey a specific meaning is an obstruction of my freedom, I will comply because there are territorial instincts associated with one's name. "Mr. Reynolds" feels that he owns his name and my misuse of it is a violation of his territory.

Henry Reynolds: That's about enough of that! I'm running the questions here, and you are distracting the Jury from the task at hand.

You created the Foundation did you not? And you created all of the different units within it did you not? So, does that not mean that you are responsible for their actions?

Nameless Leader: Is a parent responsible if their child becomes a murderer? Murderer's can be taught to murder by their parents or they can end up being murderers independantly. I will ask a better question of myself. Did I train this demonstration section to kill people, or is that something that they came up with on their own?

What were the instructions that you gave the demonstration division of the Foundation?

Nameless Leader: ha ha ha... the will of the human to keep power and control. It appears to me that you just asked me the same question with different words. But the meaning is the same, only you asked a very specific question that will take some time to answer, as my memory is not all that clear to completely answer this question.

But the general response to this question is as follows:

My instructions were to develop several ideas on demonstrations and run simulations on them to find which one would work better. The goal was to convince people to believe in God. I authorised any means necissary. I am not responsible for the ideas they came up with.

Henry Reynolds: But you had the authority to stop these actions and you did not. You were the leader of the organization and you had full responsibility. And your instructions lead directly to the terrorist killings, how can you deny responsibility?

Nameless Leader: I have no power over this section of the Foundation. Once a section is completed, I release all power to the rules of the section. This means that those that are in the section follow only the rules. Is Jesus responsible for the Crusades?
