With the massive global political shakeup, and the rise of new nationstates, things have been a bit troubling in the former Canada. The provinces were now independent, but they were floundering. Even Quebec, which had so long dreamed of independence, could not carry on independently. So, on September 6, the local Premiers all met in the war-torn city of Sudbury. There, they all realized they needed to unite to survive. And thus, at what is now being termed the Sudbury Confrence, the old provinces of Quebec, Ontario, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, and the former Labrador (yes, not Newfoundland and Labrador. Just Labrador.) agreed to form the Republic of Federal East Canada (simply call it East Canada). The first leader is a compromise candidate, Colin Graves, who was a former MP from Ontario. We're glad to be here.
