The Worker's Report - State Run Newspaper

September 11, 2004 (Kodovian News Agency) - Today, certain traitors led by Borislov Arkadiy, leader of infantry company 24 of the 3rd Infantry Brigade, seized control of the Worker's International Radio Station in the capital and broadcast several false statements.

Loyal elements of the Third Infantry Brigades surrounded the radio station and after light fighting, the radio station was recaptured intact. At the same time, Chief of Staff Anatoly Arkahov has gone missing and is thought to have initiated this attempted coup against the true Worker's Government.

Of the thirty nine traitors that seized the radio station, six were captured and their execution is scheduled for tomorrow at nine o'clock in the morning at the People's Square in Alexandergrad. Citizens wishing to attend may do so.

And that was the official story of the government... but the truth was far from that.

"The radio station has been overrun," reported Lieutenant Khadov, a member of the Chief of Staff's entourage. In the background, the sound of gunfire reverberated as the fighting slowly died down.

Sighing, the Chief of Staff responded in a quiet voice, "That's alright. It was simply a show of force. Give the word to the loyal units to begin the operation tomorrow. We will destroy these bastards."

The Lieutenant smiled and nodded. "Of course, sir. I will relay the order."

"Very good. Dismissed."
