DA+Sevaris RPed over MSN.

DA RPed DA chacters, Sevaris RPed Sevaris characters.

This RP really needs no warning, but eh it couldn't hurt.

STANDARD DA RP WARNING:

Age warning, this might contain adult situations, racial violence, racial remarks, adult language, nudity, sex, violence, drug use, tobacco use, and alcohol use. Well hell, it’s a DA RP, so we’re certain it’s going to contain most if not all of them!

The following occurred one day after Roger was released from the hospital for his tumor surgery, and a few days before the civil war started in full swing, but when it was quite obvious it was looming close.

Roger was sitting down reading the news, it was a two day old paper, the Kaiser of Sevaris had been shot... Roger sighed a meek, "Eh... I hope the bastard makes it, he might prove useful in the future, I've nothing against him other than that he hates father, but I can see why he does."

He slowly picked up a phone and dialed the Kaiser...

In Alec's office, the phone rang. Alec picked up. "Hello?"

(Roger) "Hello, Alec, is that you there? How are you doing?"

(Alec) "Ah, Roger. I'm doing better. Pain's not as bad. At least I'm back to work."

(Roger) "How would you like to come to Mississippi for a while?"

(Alec) "That would be good- What for, though?"

(Roger) "The man who shot you, he was working for a Bishop Herman Von Felben, I've since sacked him from his job, he is no longer the Minister of Religion... He's been fired; I think he might try to start a civil war over this. We should discuss the issues at hand."

(Alec) "Disturbing news, to say the least. I do believe I'll be able to come."

(Roger) "That's good, so when will you be here?"

Alice was sitting next to Roger and asked, "Roger dear, who are you talking to?"

(Alec) "Well- My schedule's free. I can't stay long though- Yunie's expecting soon."

(Roger) "One minute..." (He turns to Alice) "I'm speaking with the Kaiser of Sevaris."

(Roger) "Okay, what did you say? You're free, eh?"

(Alec) "Indeed I am, actually."

(Roger) "Well then come over whenever you want, but make it soon though, I'm not sure how long until the civil war erupts, and I think that the airspace will be definitely unsafe then... You'll probably have to leave by boat."

(Alec) "Right then. I'll take a battleship- is that alright?"

(Roger) "No, sorry, that is not okay... Arrive by plane, you can leave on one of our merchant ships."

(Alec) "Right then- We control Maryland, as you know. The trip should be fine."

Roger said goodbye, wished him good luck and a safe trip, then he hung up the phone before he sat back down and sighed as he started to speak to Alice, "Well, Alice, that ass of a man who hates father is coming here..."

(Alice) "Yes, but don't you think it had something to do with your father's actions with Yuna?"

(Roger) "Yes, but still, Alec hates us all, remember that... I don't trust him..."

Meanwhile, Alec's 777 took off from Sevaris. Its first stop was Baltimore, to refuel.

After a few hours of flight time, the plane landed hard on the runway at the Stalingrad estate in Neshoba County.

Alec stepped out. "Wow- This place is much bigger than I expected."

The Kaiser looked up and saw a 505 foot tall statue of Curtis Fabus, looking out across the estate... Roger's estate now, and he owned everything for twenty miles in any direction.

(Alec) "Pretty impressive." He thought to himself- "Can do without the statue of the asshole Curtis, though."

SRG men escorted Alec into the mansion and to the room that Roger used for receiving foreign dignitaries.

Alice was sitting on Roger's lap and they were kissing, he was holding her tightly, when Alec came in, she stood up, and returned to her seat, slightly lower than Roger's, yet right next to his. Roger called out, "Alec, come forward."

*Alec walked up* "A pleasure. I've been looking forward to meeting you."

Roger smiled at Alec, then said, "Likewise." He then turned to Alice and quietly dismissed her, "This doesn't concern you Alice, why don't you go get some rest." She nodded her acknowledgement and then walked out to go to their bedroom.

When she was out of the room, Roger spoke again, "Well Alec, what do you wish to discuss?"

(Alec) "One of the things I wanted to talk about was my opinion of you. I want you to know, despite my tactless comments on the radio, I have no problem with you or the rest of the Fabus family."

(Alec) "My problem is with your father, that's all. However, I give you my assurances that my personal opinions do not translate into public policy."

Roger chuckled, "Good, I was worried for a few minutes there, that reassures me..."

(Alec) "I trust you are aware of what happened?"

(Alec) "That is, what happened between Curtis and Yuna."

Roger turned to the side for second, not wanting to look Alec in the eyes, then he sighed, then he looked down, muttering, "Yes, I saw the tape..."

(Alec) "I can tell you are obviously more displeased with this than your father is..."

(Roger) "It just, wasn't right..."

(Alec) "Thank god. Someone with sense. I've been tearing myself up about this for weeks. I should never have let her do it. I've prayed to the Lord on the matter, and he told me to tell you. He said that you would be sympathetic to me."

Roger grinned, before letting out a light joking laugh, "Well, when I heard God talking, they found out I had a tumor pressuring my brain..."

(Alec) "Meh. It was only a dream anyway. Perhaps I imagined it, I don't know."

(Alec) "But I got the feeling that someone was talking to me. Perhaps I'm crazy, but whatever."

(Alec) "I just wanted you to know my problem is with Curtis, not you. As far as I'm concerned, the rest of you are normal."

(Roger) "That is good, I feared you'd be holding grudges and such..."

(Alec) "Normally I don't. However- I can't get over this. Mind you, I only hold a grudge with your father. I'm not bringing anyone else into it. It's a problem between me and him."

(Roger) "Okay, then let's move along, shall we?"

(Alec) "I agree. Pardon me for a minute." Alec sat down, and pulled out a valium needle. He then injected himself. "Ah. I needed that."

(Alec) "So, what can I do for you?"

(Roger) "Drugs?"

(Alec) "No. Valium. My doctor told me I needed to loosen up. It's only valium, after all. Nothing dangerous.”

(Roger) "Well father likes to smoke opium, at least a few times a day..."

(Alec) "Ah. My doctor just told me I was suffering from an awful lot of stress. I feel better now, though."

(Roger) (Correcting himself) "Well he doesn't like to, but it is the only thing that makes him feel better, and eases the pain of his illness."

(Alec) "Yeah, Parkinson's can be a bitch, I guess."

(Roger) "Whoever said anything about Parkinson’s?"

(Alec) "My info told me it was Parkinson's. Of course, I could be wrong."

(Roger) "Oh, it is indeed Parkinson's, I just wonder how you found out.”

(Alec) "These things travel around fast, eh?"

(Roger) "I suppose, well what do you think of the place here, bigger than your main estate? How many estates do you have? Just curious."

(Alec) "I've only two. First one is Chatham House- the main one, obviously. Yuna and I spend the winter months there. We have a villa up in the Pyrenees where we live during summer. Kalinsgrad summers are bloody awful."

(Alec) "And, yes, this place is definitely bigger than mine."

(Roger) "I have a few dozen estates, father has nearly one hundred."

(Alec) "Wow. Bit stretching it, isn't it?

(Roger) "Father felt it was necessary to have an estate in each county, for ease of travel."

(Alec) "Ah. Convenient to say the least. When I'm traveling, I sleep in my plane."

(Roger) "Father might be around today, you could speak with him if you wanted... But I don't suppose that'd be a good idea, eh?"

(Alec) "I'd imagine not. I mean, I would love the chance to talk to him, but I don't think it would be best."

At almost that exact time, there was a knock on the door of the room and then Curtis entered, he strode in proudly and stood steady and tall, despite his illness... He saw Alec and was shocked, to say the least, he blurted out, "What are you doing here?"

(Alec) "Curtis. Your son invited me."

Alec thought to himself, "Must keep cool- I cannot afford a meltdown...."

Curtis smiled and then chuckled, "Ah, I see, he invited you, how thoughtful of him..." Then his tone changed to serious and somewhat depressed, "Alec, could we talk in private later? Perhaps you'd like to go hunting with me, skunk, coyote, or raccoon, when it's this dark out, it's perfect for such hunting..."

(Alec) "I'd love to go. I used to go hunting all the time when I was a lad." Alec thought to himself, "YOU IDIOT! WHAT DID YOU DO THAT FOR?" He then thought- "This might be my chance."

(Curtis) "Okay, well I'll be getting ready, whenever you're ready..."

(Alec) "I'm ready when you are, actually. I've got a rifle in my plane for just such an occasion."

(Curtis) "We use shotguns around here, it reduces the chance of somebody striking a guard or a servant if they miss... Besides, who uses a rifle to hunt coon at night, we use shotguns."

(Alec) "True, very true. I used to go out alone with my father, so we didn't have to worry about that. Anyway."

(Curtis) "Okay, well let's go then." He turned and walked out the room

Alec followed.

Meanwhile, while he was walking, Alec got a call. It was from Yuna. "Pardon me- I should take this." Alec picked up. "Hi."

(Yuna) "You alright, Alec? I don't trust th..."

Curtis walked to a nearby room, a weapons room, with a variety of older style weapons and ornate weapons. He removed two over/under shotguns from a rack and waited while Alec talked on the phone.

(Alec) "Yunie, I'm perfectly fine. I'm hoping you are- How's the baby?"

(Yuna) "It's doing well. Only two more months."

(Alec) "Indeed. I've longed for this occasion. Everything alright on the homefront?"

She heard Curtis is the background, "Are we going hunting then?"

(Alec) (to Fabus) "I'll be coming". (to Yuna) "Listen babe, I gotta go. See you soon. Love ya." *Alec hung up.*

Alec walked into the room. "Sorry about that- it's the wife. Anyway, ready when you are."

He handed Alec a shotgun and said, "Let's go..."

*Alec was walking with Fabus. On the way, he examined the gun.* "Curious gun-, tell me, who was the manufacturer?"

(Curtis) "It was made in Serbia actually, over fifty years ago, given to me in the mid 90s as a gift from a politician there..."

(Alec) "Ah, the Yugoslavs. Wonderful manufacturers."

(Curtis) "Yes, and the man who gave it to me, is a good personal friend."

(Alec) "Interesting."

(Curtis) "Slobodan Milosevic."

(Alec) "Wait- Slobadon? The man responsible for countless genocides?"

(Curtis) "No the hero of Serbia who defended his homeland against muslim separatists...”

(Alec) "I won't get into this. Personally, I liked Tito better. That's just me."

(Alec) "Let's get going, shall we?"

Curtis nodded and then walked off into the woods, beckoning for Alec to follow him.

Alec followed. He was thinking to himself on the way, "Must resist temptation. Must resist temptation."

(Alec) "So, you say we're going 'coon hunting?"

(Curtis) “Yes...”

(Alec) "Ah. Those things are really little bastards, aren't they?"

(Curtis) “Well the one’s we’re going after are, we killed all the big coons years ago... I remember in 1984 during the civil war, we used to call long range patrols “coon hunts”... But we’re hunting the little coons, the ones that’ll dig through your trash can then scurry up a tree, not the ones that’ll rape your wife and kill your kids and pets...” Curtis then had to hold back a laugh

(Alec) "Yeah- I shot two of them the other week- got in my kitchen. Anyway, What's so funny?"

(Curtis) “Oh I guess I was just making a play on words... Coon hunt, get it?”

(Alec) "Ah. Yeah. Anyway." Alec cocked his head, and spotted one off in the distance. "First one- You want the honor?"

Curtis looked at Alec, then sighed, then he spoke, “I didn’t bring you out here to hunt...”

Alec sighed. "Lemme guess- Yuna?"

(Curtis) “I want to talk to you... It’s been bothering me for many months, since it happened...”

(Alec) "Same here. I've been on valium since."

(Curtis) “I guess when you find out you’re dying, you have time to reflect, I’m less than pleased with many of my actions...”

(Alec) "These things tend to happen, I guess."

(Alec) "I've been suffering from a major internal conflict since then. I've thought about killing myself. I should never had let Yuna do it."

Curtis stood there speechless, not knowing what to say, then he dropped his shotgun and started to cry uncontrollably, he hated what he’d done, what he became after Julia died... Then he cried out “forgive me Alec...” As he fell down in front of him.

(Alec) "My god....Curtis, I never expected this." Alec then began to tear up. "This gives me a lot of personal closure. I accept your apology. I'd accepted it long before you made it here." Alec then crouched down. "This was a tough thing for us both."

(Alec) "I know how you feel. Back during the war, I lost my first love too."

Curtis struggled to wipe the tears from his face, “I’m so sorry, I just want you to know I’m sorry for what I did to you and Yuna... If you’ve thought about shooting me, I don’t blame you... But I guess after my wife died, nothing else mattered and I just fell into doing whatever seemed the worst for me at the time... Jumping into combat at 40 years old, screwing any women I wanted, drinking lots.”

(Alec) "You've been tortured mentally for the longest time. I'll be honest, I have thought about shooting you. I've dreamt it- finally getting revenge. However, I realize I can't. It's not the Christian thing. As much as I hate to say it, soon you will be at peace."

(Curtis) “So you know about my illness then, eh?”

(Alec) "I heard."

Curtis let out a minor chuckle, a half laugh almost, “Well promise me when I’m gone you won’t bully around Roger, he often has trouble standing up for himself...”

(Alec) "Really? He seems to have made quite an impact."

(Curtis) “Well he’s got a good wife, and she serves as a complement to him, giving him added confidence... And that’s another thing I was worried about, that you might try to get back at me by causing Roger pain by chasing after his wife...”

(Alec) "No. Yuna's the woman for me. I learned that one year ago, and I'm sticking to it."

(Alec) "Plus, I think Alice does good for Roger."

Curtis smiled, “Good to hear. I found the woman I’m happy with, you know of her, I believe...”

(Alec) "I know. I did the paperwork."

(Curtis) “Thank you.”

(Alec) "Only did it to make someone happy."

Alec smiled. "I believe in random acts of kindness.”

(Curtis) “Shall we get back to the mansion, it’s quite late, you can stay here tonight if you want; I’m sure Roger will offer that to you.”

(Alec) "That'd be appreciated. I'm a bit tired."

Curtis walked forward and waited for Alec to join him.

Alec followed. He then said, "I really appreciate what you did back there. It'll finally give closure to me and Yuna."

Curtis nodded and then asked, “How is Yuna doing, I mean has she fully healed, and is her baby doing well?”

(Alec) "Yes on both accounts. The gene therapy was a wild success, and the baby is quite healthy. She'll deliver in two months time."

(Curtis) “Well that’s good to know... I’m due to have another kid shortly, Christine is pregnant, in a few months she’s due to give birth.”

(Alec) "Ah- but- what about the genetic defects? I mean, inbredness does have its downsides."

(Curtis) “Dr. Schacht assures me without any genetic engineering there is a 5% chance of flaws, with the engineering he is doing, it’s a .01% chance.”

(Alec) "Ah. Most interesting. The doctors are honestly predicting that my kid's going to have enhanced abilities. Specifics, they didn't say."

(Alec) "Ah. Most interesting. The doctors are honestly predicting that my kid's going to have enhanced abilities. Specifics, they didn't say."

(Alec) "Perhaps it was the genetic manipulation, I dunno. But, such is life's rich pageant.”

Curtis opened the door to the mansion and held it for Alec... Inside the main front room Roger and Alice were sitting on the couch... As soon as Roger saw the door opening, he dismissed Alice to go back to their room, he was worried if Alec saw his wife, he might start getting ideas trying to get back at Curtis by going after the Czarina, in a manner similar to what Curtis did to the Kaiserine.

Alec smirked. "Roger- don't be worried. I don't bite."

(Roger) “I’m not worried for me, but rather for her.” Alice had already gone upstairs and didn’t hear him.

(Alec) "Ah- pray tell, why?"

(Alec) "You don't think this is because of your father and Yuna, do you?"

(Roger) “What else would it be...”

Alec sighed. "We had a talk about that. We resolved that. I assure you, that, since I've been married to Yuna, I have not slept with any other woman."

Roger looked down and then raised his head, “Some men don’t think sex for political reasons or personal revenge against somebody counts...”

Curtis looked embarrassed when Roger said that.

The blood filled red the cheeks of the former Czar, his son was right on target.

(Alec) "Now, now. Yuna did that only because she knew it was unavoidable. I don't do revenge sex. Never have, never will."

(Roger) “Well that is good to hear... Shall we all turn in then, it’s quite late.”

(Alec) "I agree." *yawns* "Tough day."

Roger nodded, “A servant will show you to your room. I hope we have time to speak in the morning at breakfast, unless you have to get back quickly.”

Curtis excused himself and walked off to the room he stayed in.

(Alec) "Yunie's a big girl. She can take care of herself for one more day."

Alec then followed the servant.

The servant guided him a room that was incidentally right beneath Roger and Alice’s room.

He heard Roger and Alice talking since the words carried through the vent.

(Alec) "Ah, thank you." Alec then set up his laptop and started checking his emails.

(Alice) “Well, Roger... Is it going to be a problem... I mean what your father did with his wife, it won’t affect me, will it?”

(Roger) “No, and you know I’d never let anybody touch you... I wanted to duel those idiots if Alexandria for merely suggesting things about you, but you wouldn’t let me...”

(Alice) “It’s easier for me to ignore people, than for you to fight a duel, you could lose a duel.”

(Alec) *to himself, again* "At least he's dedicated."

Roger stood up, Alec could hear him pacing, “Well Alice, you know if anybody ever touches you, I’ll kill them...”

(Alec) *to himself* "He sounds a tad worried. Whatever for?”

(Roger) “Alice, a while ago, it was right after I got back from Western Sahara, you were bruised up... I want to know, who did that to you?”

She was evasive, there was no need to cause any problems in a country that was so racked by internal strife, “Nobody, I fell it was an accident...”

Roger sighed, he knew she was lying, but didn’t want to press the issue, “Okay, just as long as you’re okay...” He sat down and kissed her. She pulled him closer to him and smiled at him. Roger smiled back and said, “Shall we?”

(Alice) “With company here?”

Alec chuckled to himself. "Heh. Kids." Alec then switched off his computer, and laid down on the bed.

(Roger) “There are over 50 bedrooms, what are the oods the room he is in is anywhere near ours.”

Alec soon fell fast asleep.

For the next ninety minutes, Alec’s sleep was constantly interrupted by moaning from the room above his.

(Alec) "Jesus- what the fuck is going on? Bomb or something?"

He heard Alice screaming Roger’s name again and again, it gave him a pretty good idea what was going on.

(Alec) "Why am I not surprised....." *Alec then buried his head under the pillow.*

About twenty more minutes, the noise had ended, Roger and Alice were finished and had both fallen asleep.

(Alec) "Wow- that was....extended." Alec then fell fast asleep, again.

At about seven in the morning, Alec woke up, showered, and then went to see what was going on in the mansion.

(Alec) "Ello? Anyone here?"

(Roger) “In here, I’ve been up for a while, I’m eating now...”

(Alec) "Ah- I see. Sorry to intrude- I just woke up."

Alec walked in and saw Curtis and Roger eating breakfast, Curtis excused himself and went off to shower, since he always showered after he ate.

Roger smiled, “Alice is quite tired, she’ll probably be sleeping in today...”

Alec chuckled. "So I heard."

(Roger) “Heard what? Did I miss something?”

(Alec) "Never mind, then."

(Roger) “Well have a safe trip back, if you’re going to be leaving now.”

Roger smiled again, proud and happy, “Well I’ll drop you a line when it’s official.”

(Alec) "Official? Did I miss something?"

(Roger) (Smiling) “When the doctors confirm Alice is pregnant, I’m certain she will be in a few days.”

(Alec) "Ah! My best to the child."

(Roger) “And my best wishes to your child.”

(Alec) "I'll tell Yuna. Anyway, Farewell."

(Alec) "My intention." *Alec then boarded his 777*

*The plane took off, Alec sitting in the cabin.*

Alec mused to himself, "At last. I'm finally at peace. Thank you, Curtis, Thank you."
