Alec was sitting in his office, doing some paperwork. He was also talking to Yuna, who was sitting on the sofa. He was interrupted by his intercom.

A female voice said, "Your excellency, Defence Minister Guderian is here to see you."

Alec replied, "Send her in." He turned off the intercom. "I so hate it when my ministers HAVE to interrupt me."

Paine entered Alec's office. She had a pistol on her. However, since she was a cabinet member there was no reason to suspect this.

"Paine- A pleasant surprise, what brings you here today?"

Paine drew her gun. "Die- You heretic bastard." She then fired two shots at Alec, one striking in his side, the other striking him in the shoulder. Alec crumpled to the ground. Meanwhile, Yuna panicked, and reached for her gun. She then emptied a clip on Paine. Paine immediately collapsed to the ground and died. Yuna then opened Paine's jacket, and found a note from Felben. It said, "May God bless you on your crusade. Kill the heretic. Kill his wife." Yuna became enraged. "DAMN YOU, FELBEN, DAMN YOU TO HELL!" She then ran to comfort Alec.

"While I am glad that you were not killed, I will not praise the attack and then claim I was sleep deprieved... I must state that Bishop Felben is currently a criminal under our laws and we will deal with him when we get him. You are to leave getting him to us. He is currently leading an insurrection against my government and I want him dead probably more than you do."
